Wizard World Gives us the 5th Dark Knight Trailer!!! watch!

traileraddict.com — The fifth trailer for The Dark Knight comes from this past years Wizard World in Chicago. This trailer does not have much dialog but there is tons of action packed footage, even Batman tossing Joker (87 sec) and Two-Face at the end.

      I kind of wish they didn't show any two-face stuff in the trailer... but... we knew it was going to happen anyway. We already know the plot in general, but even with all the trailers, I still don't know what is going to happen.

      All it is doing is hyping that ***** through the roof, I'm super dee dooper excited now.

  • badwithcomputer, on 07/06/2008, -9/+34i'm so sick of all these trailers- i haven't seen a dark knight trailer in over a year. seriously. when they come on in theatres, i look down and i avert my eyes when they're on tv. why? because i KNOW i'm going to see this movie. i don't need imagery of the final battles, best chases and coolest explosions burned into my head because those are the scenes that tested the best. movie studios keep making longer trailers that lead you through so much plot and cool scenes that it's really starting to piss me off as a big fan of film. give your audience more credit!

      I've pretty much seen all of the trailers. There is some cool new imagery they are showing in that last trailer, but it's for less than a second. It's exciting me more than upsetting/giving anything away for me.

    Dark Knight has some of the best promo posters I have ever seen.

I asked one of my friends who works at our theater what they did with all the posters, and he said they usually just throw them out. So, I started going in the day before they put up the new posters and they'll usually let me have the ones I like.

        I've been told that they have to send them back to the studios. Could just be bs because works already claimed them though. But either way, that's not an easy way to get them when you battle a huge town.

I've seen some stills on the web that have leaked but I'm still looking forward to seeing it in all it's glory (gory?) on the big screen. From what little I've seen I'd say it's already infinitely better than the way Tommy Lee Jones looked in the part...

Now I see that they don't watch trailers, but I don't see anyone covering their eyes and humming a tune during all the previews before the film, so they are both non-trailer watchers, and possess the ability to temporarily disconnect their eyes and ears from their brain whilst sipping 5 gallons of Pibb Xtra

    The scene where Batman "flips" Joker, he's wearing a different colored outfit from the other ones where he's beating him up in the interrogation room. There's hardly any dialogue through most of it, and the twoface scene was on the tasteforthetheatrical site a few weeks back.

    Really that's more who I'm looking forward to. I love Aaron Eckhart. Thank You for Smoking is one of my most favorite movies of all time.
    • Mpwns, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1he is gonna own in that role. and i know ledger is gonna be the best joker when i watch the trailers i dont see ledger i see the joker true the make up is better now, but from what we saw it looks like he really went all out and let his inner evil sdie to acting out as if it was his dream role, but he knew his boyish look would never let him. and then downey jr. hollywood is starting to listen to the comic fans. we picked up a few winners in the last couple of movies.

The editing was very sub-par, the audio was off, one shot had Dent and Alfred speaking w/o audible dialog and many of the explosions were silent (people love seeing and HEARING explosions). They did get several shot's I haven't seen yet, but still, this reeks of amature. I think what really gives it away is that this trailer destroys much of the atmosphere the other trailers were building up.

    • H3BR3W, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1This was actually some of the first footage fans were shown, I believe. It was shown at Wizard World Chicago last year(while they were filming there), not this year. Could be a well cropped cam, I don't know. I do know it's legit, though.

Not nearly up to par with the official DK trailers. The best one so far is the Dominos Pizza "exclusive" trailer, opens with "Know your limits" and includes Joker's "Does it depress you.... how, alone, you really are?"
