Bom Diggy Bom De Dang-e Dang Diggy Diggy! (Bizzare Video) watch!

youtube.com — This is the strangest music video i have seen in a while. It is Cobrastyle by Robyn, who everyone says is the uber coolest, no apologies, up and coming, female pop star from Sweden. (Madonna's opening act) The song is catchy, but the paint effects are just weird, weird, weird, especially the blue paint in her mouth! Makes me wonder...

Apparently as originally coined, "Ebonics" would have included patois, but the accepted meaning has changed in the last 12 years. "Ebonics seems to have become little more than an alternative term for African American Vernacular English".

    • yardie, on 10/15/2008, -0/+10It's not ebonics, it's patois. And not a very good one at that. The song was originally Mad Cobra's "Press Trigger", on the Buzz riddim. (Dancehall tunes will use the same riddims on different songs, then DJs can make lots of different dubs on top of that). Teddybears did dub/remix of the Mad Cobra song and called it Cobrastyle. Robyn dubbed it again.

      *Note: A dub is almost like a cover but the original artists or other artists can remix it anyway they like. If you think American music rights are insane the dancehall scene is the polar opposite. Tracks (riddims) and lyrics are traded around like baseball cards. It's normal to get a CD with 30 artists singing over the same riddim
