      I pulled it out of the video, and I attempted to clean it up a bit (remove background noise, equalize vocals, backups and guitar, etc) but there's really only so much you can do without isolated source tracks.

      And, no, that's not a reverb effect. It's two additional tracks that have been pitch-shifted up and down a couple percents of a half-step, specifically on the frequency ranges that mostly contain guitar tonality. I was trying to make it sound like a bit more than a regular acoustic.

If we all said we were female in every post and we all posted on a daily basis, you might be surprised how many of us there are on digg. I'd probably be surprised, too, as I have no idea how many others are out there. I also know of a few girls who read digg but don't have profiles on here as well.
      • MadOtaku, on 12/24/2007, -0/+4That is true. On the internet, people often assume you are male. I think this is a carryover from the early days of the net when the percentage of women online was far lower. I may be wrong though; the "early days of the net" were before my time.
        • jsebrech, on 12/24/2007, -1/+1I was there, you're right about the early days. Another hold-over is the perception that women don't know anything about anything regarding technology.

          The internet in the early days was not that useful, but more of a nerd toy, and women differ from men in that they are more interested in practical use cases rather than technology for technology's sake. As the internet became more useful as a tool for social networking, the gender gap has narrowed.
