DMusic.com - BEST independent musician community
dmusic.com — There are plenty of music communities on the web, but few can compete with DMusic. It offers a generous amount of free space and has a very large community ready to check out your music. If you are a musician who is looking for a place to get promoted or just a person looking for some independent RIAA-free tunes then you should check it out.

So for those of you just sick of hearing the same mainsream music that have been force feed.
stop in and hear what some of the best are really doing - shadowself, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I can digg it! DMusic rocks.
- Rodrica, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've been on the site for 5 years - it's definitely the place to be if you are a musician or simply love music! As an artist it's a first class cost-effective alternative to having your very own website - a great URL (artist name first), plenty of free space for music and pics (the best on the web!), the choice of uploading at any bitrate (high or low), streaming (lo-fi and hi-fi), free downloads, plenty of page control, chance to sell your music and/or merchandise if you want, buy equipment, get industry and legal information/advice...and of course interact with an international community through DMusic's unique shoutboxes, by private note or through their comments boxes and forums. Loads of feedback and advice on all kinds of things, collaborations, competitions and much more. Music lovers, poets and those who want to stop by for a chat are all welcome! DMusic...the best DTour you'll ever make!!
- FraDonaghy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I joined Dmusic around 2 and a half years ago, after a friend suggested I put up some of the songs I had recorded on my PC. In that short amount of time - the community at Dmusic has been so supportive of my music and so helpful with giving me hints on how to improve my recordings that since then I have written and recorded over 30 new songs, established relationships with other musicians throughout the globe, and even had the pleasure of working on a few songs with them. Like Rodrica says, there are more options available to the musician than at a lot of other sites, plus initially you can sign up for free and still have 75MB of upload space. Where else do you get that?
That aside, the best feature of DMusic is of course the music. You will find bands there that you may not have ever heard of - but you'll definitely wonder why not. Talent is abounding at the place. Why not be a part of it? - McCabeRoadDogs1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2DMusic Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yeah
