- ismoke, on 10/16/2007, -1/+14I wouldn't be cool if it wasn't for the hype machine.
- reebz85, on 11/06/2007, -6/+8the Hype Machine is what made me cool.
- Lunarphase, on 10/16/2007, -5/+9I find lots of cool music thanks to Hype Machine.
- btgoss, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3I agree with you. Hype Machine is great way to find new songs. If it ever comes back, do a search for "cover" or "acapella" you will find some weird *****.
I am not liking being held hostage. Deezer.com is just about as cool as HypeM, so I would change that 10K at once, to 10K a day really quick.- keekee0305, on 10/16/2007, -0/+3I just found out about hypem a week ago. I will not come back if I have to check all day long to see how many people are on. There are too many web sites that will provide what I want without me having to watch and wait. Stop it hypem, I really like your site. I don't want to switch if I don't have to.
- lofidan, on 10/16/2007, -0/+6I just checked out Deezer.com. Today I can discover "Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston (that's that turgid sampling of "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King you hear from any chavvy local pub DJ worth his salt), "Hey There Delilah" by everybody's favourite dullards that are played constantly on Radio 2 Plain White T's, "Who Knew" by the up and coming Pink, whoever she is, "1973" by James Blunt, another song I have only heard 3000 times, yadda yadda yadda.
At least Hype Machine gives me some new stuff I might not have heard, with the side effect of not making me put my fist through my monitor. I am sitting here with a slashed wrist from my broken monitor, and I've only just realised that I should have at least put my fist through the ***** SPEAKERS. Consequently I am lying here dying, when the ambulance turns up all they will hear is that appalling music on Deezer.com wafting out of the speakers. When they tell my parents that I am dead, do you know what they will play at my funeral? ***** 1973 by James Blunt, because it was obviously my favourite song, the one I put on when I "committed suicide".
I hate you. I HATE YOU!!! Everything thinks I listen to James Blunt now!- PeeCee, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Holy ***** does James Blunt suck. My ex-girlf dragged me to his concert... I felt vindicated when she was the one that suggested we leave early.
Holy *****. Ugh.
PS: Don't tell anyone I went to see James Blunt.
- PeeCee, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Holy ***** does James Blunt suck. My ex-girlf dragged me to his concert... I felt vindicated when she was the one that suggested we leave early.

- carleser, on 10/16/2007, -8/+1Hype Machine and Hipster Runoff are the only things making me cool.

- hugh, on 10/16/2007, -8/+2Your mom thought I was pretty cool last night in bed.
- edekumi, on 10/16/2007, -6/+1i cant delete or dig on any mess.
why is that? - Bloc, on 10/16/2007, -5/+410,000 people? with 480 people on at the moment does anyone else think they're aiming a bit too high?
- hkalodimos, on 10/16/2007, -2/+2Keep in mind that it's only 7:30 here in the America (Central Time at least). Everyone knows hipsters don't blog until at least 10.
- PeeCee, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1For ironic purposes, though, they're on Mountain Standard Time...
- hkalodimos, on 10/16/2007, -2/+2Keep in mind that it's only 7:30 here in the America (Central Time at least). Everyone knows hipsters don't blog until at least 10.
- digtbk, on 10/16/2007, -2/+15What if 10,000 people NEVER log on at the same time? WHAT THEN?
- gygash, on 10/16/2007, -2/+3Then their attempt at free advertising fails, and they open anyway.
- receivefile, on 10/16/2007, -0/+0Or just set the counter to 10000.
- zytonspyke, on 10/15/2007, -3/+3Well that is why they ask you to leave the page open. You just leave it there all day, and do other stuff, and it still counts.
- iguanapunk, on 10/16/2007, -4/+3A little to ambitious if you ask me. It could be an embarrassing one for the creators.
- ephemerous, on 10/16/2007, -1/+2how about we all try and help save their integrity?
- plazzTT, on 10/16/2007, -5/+1Even if this gets to the digg front page, it could still take a while...
- UrbanSurfer, on 10/16/2007, -4/+1Anyone know how to gain beta access? is it by invite only?
- tinyorangepig, on 10/15/2007, -0/+0the username and password is hype and 10000 users is nothing but. dont leave open a window, just use the pw. oh snap, just saw the same info below.
- expatcatalyst, on 10/16/2007, -0/+0Oh, thanks, I was having a withdrawal moment there, whew! Got in and am now cool again.....
- tinyorangepig, on 10/15/2007, -0/+0the username and password is hype and 10000 users is nothing but. dont leave open a window, just use the pw. oh snap, just saw the same info below.
- UrbanSurfer, on 10/16/2007, -3/+2The beta - 'invite' link appears closed at this time. It's possible that once the work day gets going, East>West, word could spread pretty quickly and 10K pages could be open in a few hours.
- NyteStarNyne, on 10/16/2007, -1/+3Diggers! What is your occupation?!?

- chime, on 10/15/2007, -0/+1The entire web page is the playlist. You can jump to any track. Search results play non-stop too.
- jayatsnap, on 10/15/2007, -0/+4Whta a great viral marketing technique!
