Metallica puts live albums from 1982-2003 for free
iguitarworld.com — Metallica, surprisingly decided to put 20 Metallica live albums from 1982-2003 for download, free of cost, on their website. They are already giving away the tickets for as low as $9. Is that awesome or what?

- paradexes, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Heh sounds like they either had a change of heart, or they are up to something. They lost my support after they supported the RIAA efforts to stop file sharing. I am hoping they had a change of heart. I like the music, but I wont support it (even in downloading it). I figure there is plenty of good free (legally free) music out there for me to listen to. And I have found lots of it. Jamendo and other CC licensed music as well.
- lmbb20, on 09/07/2008, -3/+2I'm still mad at James Hetfield. But they are still a bitchin' band.
- wrathchilde, on 09/07/2008, -1/+1I worked for years and years to get where I am today.

(fire BAD!) - ZephyrNinety, on 09/08/2008, -3/+2I wouldn't take their ***** for free. Between their *****, thrown together lyrics, the way they abuse their fans, and Kirk Hammot's thin, whiny, tinny tone, they can eat a dick.
- Wilarseny, on 09/08/2008, -1/+1Just like with NiN, I don't like Metallica's music but this might just get me to buy something of theirs...
- Wilarseny, on 09/09/2008, -0/+1aw man, i just got dugg down for expressing a music opinion.. at least i did it respectfully, in contrast to dude above me..
