- AmyVernon, on 09/07/2008, -0/+2totally. I remember the first time I heard it thinking, "Hey! That's 'Under Pressure'!" and the idiot tried to deny it.
- swrostmore, on 09/06/2008, -2/+7I'd like to bury the ***** out of this article for not including any sound samples but I'm too apathetic
- jackspayed, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5in regards to Lupe - Daydream... is it a ripoff or plagiarized if the original artist/label is both payed and credited? And what makes IMonsters version any less of a plagiarism? They all use the same hook, same melody, same damn song... I like the IMonster version, but what makes something a "cover" and something else a rip-off? Each version is altered to a completely different genre of music...
- molebee, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3I've lost all respect...
- GJBlizzard, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1Why would they list a song from the Rolling Stones' album "Bridges to Babylon" and then use the cover of "Black and Blue" for the picture?
Secondly, who hasn't ripped off Chuck Berry? - JCougar, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1There is also Rod Stewart whose song "Do you think I'm sexy" plagarizes George Ben Jor's "Taj Mahal." Elastica's "Connection" rips off Wire's "Three Girl Rumba." Sublime rips off everyone and DJ Mehdi's "I am Somebody" rips off the Reverend Jesse Jackson.
- Berkana, on 09/07/2008, -0/+2The all time most ripped off song is Pachelbel's Cannon in D:

- coltrane68, on 09/07/2008, -0/+11. Cheap shot on George Harrison. It was clear that, despite the fact that the "My Sweet Lord" and "He's So Fine" melodies are so close, George composed his pop masterpiece without intentionally stealing anything.
2. It's impossible not to rip off Chuck Berry. All I-IV-V pop songs (songs that use the basic chords of the blues progression) are roughly the same. Isn't "Rockaway Beach" by the Ramones a rip-off of Chuck just as much as "Surfin U.S.A."?
