- virginian9000, on 06/26/2008, -3/+5That Akon one just has to be fake. That guy would sue over that one, since he invited up to the stage instead of breaking onto the stage. Not to mention the people Akon threw the guy on.
- ADIDAS247, on 06/27/2008, -0/+6According to wiki
"Akon has claimed that the incident was staged and that he in fact used the act to set up for the next record.[24] As of November 29, 2007, charges of endangering the welfare of a minor, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation, were filed, according to police Chief Donald F. Williams"
But it has the "This section needs to be updated" so I will leave it up to you to do your own research ; ) - bumblefoot, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1it looked a bit WWE if you ask me
- ADIDAS247, on 06/27/2008, -0/+6According to wiki
- Sixark, on 06/26/2008, -1/+29maynard james keenan from tool studied bjj under rickson gracie . . . that fan obviously didn't know what he was getting himself into . . .
- mcfly99, on 06/27/2008, -1/+6and he's pretty jacked
- RoroCo, on 06/27/2008, -0/+23I don't know which is more humiliating... Getting taken down on stage into a choke hold... Or having Maynard continue to sing while doing it...
- TheGooseyOne, on 06/27/2008, -0/+7The best part is he held him during the rest of the song's refrain which the main lyrics are "you're pushin and shovin me." I'm sure Maynard took it as something that was totally meant to happen. The full video is here.

- seraph582, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2That was definitely a well-executed hip-toss, too!! Props to him! I studied under Royce Gracie myself - Rickson's SRS BSNS, though!!!
- sp1r1t, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1yeah, i was seriously impressed by how he took that guy down, haha.
- hektur, on 06/27/2008, -5/+12The final one was awesome. "Come up onstage so I can kick you in the face"
- Jeff187342, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2Not sure if anyone else has seen the full clip but the best part of that is when he says something to the effect of "I may be sick, but I'll still butt ***** you in front of your friends." ***** priceless.
- seraph582, on 06/27/2008, -3/+1dude - that's Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age - the man's a genius and a God. He had Dave Grohl drum on one of his albums (Songs for the Deaf - one of the best albums ever made) and he also drums for another band called "Eagles of Death Metal" (tongue in cheek name - they're nothing close to deathmetal.) He's ***** hilarious. First concert of his I went to, he ripped on some fat kid between every song he played - what he was saying was HILARIOUS!!
- TheSnuffster, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2Thanks for the biography
- WhoDoneIt, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2All this AND you've trained under Royce Gracie. Man.. you've lead an awesome life thus far.
/sarcasm - cambo357, on 06/27/2008, -0/+0no doubt he picked up some attitude from Blag of the Dwarves. they lived together at one time even. the Dwarves are notorious at this stuff. I have seen people invited up on stage only to be thrown off; HeWhoCannotBeNamed has just simply thrust the head of his guitar into the people at the front of the crowd; after fighting with the audience and Blag being bloodied by a thrown bottle to the face, the drummer has kicked his kit into the crowd, and then pissed on it. all this at just the handful of shows I have been to.
Viva la Dwarves!!!! - widman, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1He was the man, indeed. A shame he died sucked by a Tornado while playing drums on that incredible Spinal Tap tour.
- omnithought, on 06/27/2008, -1/+33Maynard's too cool. "Aww....let me give ya a hug" *fwap!* Who's yer daddy now, beeyotch?
- twishart, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1I'm pretty sure Maynard threw him into a sleeper hold right after that...
- adrames, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1Dugg for TOOL. ***** yeah!
- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -2/+7Most of the fans are there to listen/watch the band so when any confrontation occurs it's natural for them to favor and cheer on the band.
omnithought -- I agree, that fake hug was awesome! - dubious, on 06/27/2008, -6/+3Missing this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHkZedG-He8- ADIDAS247, on 06/27/2008, -0/+3Didn't Tommy Hilfiger kick his ass?
- screamingjoker, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1what the hell was slash wearing, skimpy fire island boy shorts? Oh Guitar Hero, go back to the leather and H
- Tollboi, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2WTFV it is not missing.
- joeconway, on 06/27/2008, -2/+9As much as i despise greenday, that was a ***** great way to get the little ***** back
- myass666mlong, on 06/27/2008, -1/+40douchebags vs. douchebags
- letitbleed62, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1w/e he's certainly no Ian Mackaye. Now there's a crazy ***** who has prolly kicked countless amounts of ass in his day.
- RansomHoldiay, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2at woodstock pete townshend destoryed abbie hoffman with his guitar when he got on stage and tried to take the mic, sorta like that rolling stones clip.
- gavin422, on 06/27/2008, -2/+21Am I the only one who hates this sort of thing? I mean, of course these guys are jerks, but bringing them onstage to beat on them while thousands cheer you on just reeks of mob mentality.
If a band wanted to handle this professionally, they'd just have security grab them and throw them out the back door. - eelwrolyat, on 06/27/2008, -0/+8LOL. I love how Billie Joe Armstrong did a flying dropkick on that guy.
- 3amboo, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2hahaha didn't know he had it in him
- Impeller, on 06/27/2008, -1/+2Anyone knows what happened next? Billi Joe is so crazy I bet he kicked his ass.

- peterjmag, on 06/27/2008, -1/+23This one's still my favorite, mainly just because it's Nickelback, and they seriously blow: http://youtube.com/watch?v=DH_EEWlH5UE
- xthpsgodx, on 06/27/2008, -1/+4While I am not a fan of them either I think in that situation they handled themselves well. Didn't dive into the crowd punching at least.
- seraph582, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2AAAAAAAAAAH! THAT WAS AWESOME!!! Best thing I've seen all week, hands down.
I lost all respect for those stupid ***** when I heard that NPR show air the recording of them playing 2 "different" songs layered on top of one another and noticing they were all but the same damned thing. ***** them. Also, that rockstar song will not get off of the ***** radio! Stop it! It's not a good song at all!! Even by new music "standards!" - ZoomBoy, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1Say what you want, but they put on an amazing show.
- JezusGhoti, on 06/27/2008, -2/+19They cut the Tool one off too early. Even more impressive than the jujutsu throw is the fact that Maynard keeps singing while putting the guy in a submission hold. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iU74f_T0UU
- Pake, on 06/27/2008, -0/+4Exactly! Maynard's was the most impressive band vs fan to date. All those other bands just stopped in the middle of the show one *****, while Maynard drops the guy, puts him in a hold and keeps on singing!
- Pake, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1*for one *****.

- cusoman, on 06/27/2008, -1/+16I was at a Rob Zombie show once in St Paul where Monster Magnet (known as "Monster *****" to me and my friends at the time) was opening and some dude was throwing quarters at the lead singer, who at the time had this stupid thing where he'd shine a spotlight on people and ask them questions.
Well, he stopped the song and shined his little light on the guy and asked him if he wants to come up and fight. The guy didn't even blink and went up on the stage with the bouncers not even stopping him. 30 seconds later the fight was over and the lead singer was on the stage floor and his band members were actually laughing at him. That set ended with the other band members carrying him off. The whole crowd was just laughing, it was great and I wish I had a camera there, but this was well before camera phones.- HumanRecalled, on 06/27/2008, -2/+0that never really happened though did it?

Your false yarn may have earned you Diggs but now they know the truth !!
FAIL !- cusoman, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1What the hell are you talking about? The link you gave clearly shows the tour I mentioned being real, and I never said the problem was between Rob and Monster Magnet. You sir, are the one fabricating things.
Were you there in St Paul? Did you see the show first hand? Do you even know the name of the venue it happened at?
Fusking millennial hippies.

- Infidelcastr0, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1That was hilarious how Maynard tricked that guy and kept singing when he tackled him.
