Time to be an Adult... Learn How to Say You're Sorry

dumblittleman.com — Does this ever happen to you? You did something wrong. You feel like a schmuck. But you don't know how to fix it! You know you should apologize but you either don't know how or you can't bring yourself to do it. This happens to all of us. Sometimes you're feeling so hot under the collar or maybe so shameful, it's hard to say the words. What to do?

  • AndyBeard, on 11/02/2007, -2/+7Dugg, but this doesn't mean I am going to say sorry to "Google" by filing a reinclusion request which is more like plea bargaining for the guilty. They have no way to report "Hey Google, you made a mistake with this one" - you just have to admit guilt.
    Good job with real life relationships it is actually a lot easier.

  • DeskFlyer, on 11/02/2007, -0/+5Does anyone else have a father who never admits they are wrong about anything, even when it is blatantly obvious that they are? My Dad always finds a way to blame other people for his mistakes and it drives me nuts.....seems rather childish, unfortunately.

    • fdw2006, on 11/02/2007, -1/+1I used to do that - especially with girlfriends. I was so happy to have a girlfriend that I wanted every conflict over immediately. So I would kiss ass and apologize even though the SHE was totally wrong. I was a dumb ass back then. It's nice to be married (although I still seem to be apologizing a lot...hmm)
