When you go to duggmirror.com, it looks at the page you're coming from (digg.com/topic/story_name), and if it's from a digg comment page (which takes that form), then it adds the '/topic/story_name' to the base url (duggmirror.com). So if you click the link the poster provided, it takes you right there.

      I do have Safari, and every time someone posts "duggmirror.com" is does not automatically find the story It goes to a table of contents. I did not know about the referrer feature of dugg mirror. As far as I know, I have never shut off this feature. If you look to the top of the comments, someone else has posted the same exact link I did and got 41 diggs so far.

      Why would it kill you to post the actual link instead of relying on referrers? Not everyone has the same system you do.

      When you see boat like that, it means it got stuck in shallow water, obviously.
      A bus on a hill potentially from a drunk driver or someone distracted. obviously.
      etc. etc., 90% of these are going to be from some kind of distraction, alcohol, drugs, or someone else that was pissed off at one of these individuals.

    #17 - Something caught on fire on the ship, firefighters tried to put it out and ended up filling it with water, causing it to list beyond the point of recovery.

    #16 - Not really that astonishing. Probably trying to avoid something on the road, possibly a deer.

    #15 - Sleepy bus driver.

    #14 - Drunk or sleepy driver.

    #13 - Mine subsidence. This (mine subsidence, that is) happens a lot in Western PA, where old coal mines pepper the area.

    #12 - Probably a similar situation to 17.

    #11 - Parking in a "No Parking" zone.

    #10 - Okay, this is the first one that presented any kind of challenge to me. My only guess is that someone didn't put on the brakes and it rolled backward.

    #9 - Put it in reverse and backed out of the parking garage.

    #8 - Backed into it as it was going by.

    #7 - Likely put it in drive instead of reverse.

    #6 - Tide.

    #5 - He drove off the cliff and was saved by his trailer getting stuck.

    #4 - That's a good one. I don't know. The cop must've been driving around where he wasn't supposed to.

    #3 - I'm not even sure what I'm looking at here. There must've been something on the track that caused it to jump up.

    #2 - Someone in the switching tower wasn't paying attention.

    #1 - Drove off a drop-off.

    Also, being a former rider of the Wolfline Bus System, I can attest to them not going over 35 in most places, but that intersection looks damn familiar to a corner I used to live near, and there's NO WAY the driver should've been going very fast at all.
