Amazing Photos: The Whole Town Is Being Painted

sturman.livejournal.com — It seems, municipal officials in Ramenskoye city (Russia, Moscow region) decided to make their own town to look like modern artist canvas. So, instead of grey buildings people there will be surrounded by all kinds of colors.

    • preved, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Russia is just different. Simple answer would be... there is no simple answer.
      Couple of factors which influenced this difference are climate and geo-political location. Between others - almost constant state of war for centuries, necessity to survive, isolation. As a result - Western perception of Russia is pretty much distorted by fear and misunderstanding.
