The Christopher Walken Flying Through Space Illusion
moillusions.com — Beleive it or not, this magical "animated" illusion is a composition of only four frames. The second two are just color-inverted originals (with small modification in shiftment from the original). It gives you opinnion Chris is drifting through galaxy, while in fact he's just leaning milimeter back and fourth for our photo-session ;)

- Mikecol, on 10/11/2007, -2/+111This wouldn't be nearly as cool if it wasn't Christopher Walken.

If you haven't seen it, It's one of the top ten videos ever made IMHO - Konstantino, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1You can actually see that it has limited frames if you look closely. Take a look at the big dot next to Chris' leg. It just moves back and forth.
- EbilPhish, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Its not an illusion, its just Christopher Walken in his natural airborne state.
- TimTheSloth, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0actually it is still pretty cool without him:

- daveddd, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26I oughta stab you in the face with a soldering iron!
- BigDigg55, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1It would still be scary even if it wasnt in space
- amdahlj, on 10/11/2007, -11/+6Where's the illusion?
- Bobski, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6That this is newsworthy enough to get posted to digg's front page.
What is not illusory is that tons of kids up past their bedtime are digging it.
- Bobski, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6That this is newsworthy enough to get posted to digg's front page.
- Raistlen007, on 10/11/2007, -3/+29Damnit, where's the epilepsy warning?
- SamKellett, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3"The second two are just color-inverted originals "
From the description. - nosajman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Or the illusion of me having a seizure and thinking I can fly.
- moofer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Or at least a migraine warning

- webweb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+70Dugg for being the most accurate picture of Christopher Walken I've ever seen. His voyages into space are legendary.
- TomPlansMedia, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12good for YOU, good FOR you
- ptacnik, on 10/11/2007, -1/+23actually it just looks like its blinking
- MadOtaku, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3and moving back and forth (which it is).
- webcure, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Christopher Walken sure looks happy to fly!
- cambob76, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Explaining the illusion under the title kinda wrecked it... a little.
- Hananda, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3I honestly think that it is impossible for Walken to do any wrong. Christopher Walken + Uwe Boll, even, would make for a good movie. He's just that good.
- bywayofwhy, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1oooooooolder than old.
the image of chris is from the video for the fatboy slim track "weapon of choice" - awesomename, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.
- samuelbreed, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1wow, by "our photo shoot," do you mean 'screen-capping fatboy slim video from like 4 years ago'? and btw sweet explanation (for the blind)
- bruinexmo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9The image is from Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" video, directed by Spike Jonze:

(It's at 3:05 if you wanna skip ahead, but the whole video is definitely worth watching.)- Area51mafia, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I saw this story minutes before I turned off my computer. I turned on the TV, flipped around, stopped on VH1, and this video was playing. Needless to say, I was a bit freaked out.
- markthegoth, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2safari only blinks its once, anyone know why? (im guessing it should blink more than once)
- monkeyhouse, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Do you have your preferences set to only animate gifs once? Otherwise, I have no idea... Safari animates it fine for me.
- mf0thrilla, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3this made safari crash...
my browser must epileptic. - nubnub, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2old news
- stukaplan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I don't know whether to digg for Christopher Walken flying through space, or to bury this fossil

- Amablue, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Someone just learned about 4chan.
- danakin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2You mean to say that Christopher Walken ISN'T flying through space?!
- sneeka2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1It gives me whatwhat Chris is flying through space?!

- nickd3000, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14That site stole my spider picture and removed the tag:
http://www.coolbubble.com/pics/spidereffect.gif
I made a tutorial on how to create these last year.
http://www.coolbubble.com/features/epilepograph/- phronko, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The spider one actually works for me...it looks like movement. The Walken one just looks like it's shifting back and forth.
Sucks that they both stole it and made worse versions.
- phronko, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The spider one actually works for me...it looks like movement. The Walken one just looks like it's shifting back and forth.
- davecor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Is "Shiftment" a cromulent word?
- zaffir, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Doesn't look like he's flying through space to me. Each frame is pretty obvious. Buried.
- SmilingJess, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0bump because it is Christopher Walken -- =)
I always wished I had him as a scary uncle - floatingpoints, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Am I the only one who sees two flickering images instead of any movement?
- jessejames632, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Pictures aren't scary, Marsupials are... cuz they're FAST!
- gregnorc, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Dugg down for the stealing a two year old something awfuls forums thread and not attributing the source.
Wanna put goon material on digg? That's fine, but CITE IT. - gradeahonky, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Uuughhhhhhhhhh, heres a new rule: having Christopher Walken in something does not make you automatically cool any more. He's still cool, but just mentioning him or having a picture of him isn't gonna cut it any more. Its time to find another fallback item for people with no sense of humor of their own.
- mrogi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Nice tribute to the greatest B-movie villian of all time.

- benlindelof, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Buried for [PIC] spam until I can block it in the Subject page of my Profile.
- Ascendancy5, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0The frames are pretty obvious, but it's still a sort of cool illusion. If you can't see it, looking at one star in the background and watching how it goes back and forth helps you see it.
