msnbc.msn.com — NBC is using the Olympics as a "billion-dollar research lab" to get a sense of how people are using different media platforms to experience the Beijing Games that begin Aug. 8.

  • PopcornDave, on 07/07/2008, -0/+3Given NBC's past performance, you're going to be able to use all sorts of media to watch the back stories of the athletes and very little of the actual games.

    With the problems that Victoria's Secret had with their show streaming attempts is NBC going to limit their streaming to just the US or are they going to try for worldwide? And yes I do realize that more people want to watch women parade around in their underwear than watch a bunch of people running around competing in events, but I'm still curious if NBC has taken possible worldwide viewership in to account.
