- whataboutdave, on 07/21/2008, -1/+21That's remarkable. Some *countries* don't have 31 athlete in the Olympics.
- WorldRTomi, on 07/22/2008, -5/+0sorry but their are only 4 athletes in the world. They are called Pfizer, Roche, Novartis and Merck.
- paulvq, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Your comment makes no sense.
- WorldRTomi, on 07/22/2008, -1/+0oh yes, because doping is as old as Olympics and a major player in the performance of the athletes.
- linagee, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Dugg for hot pic.
- WorldRTomi, on 07/22/2008, -5/+0sorry but their are only 4 athletes in the world. They are called Pfizer, Roche, Novartis and Merck.

- rex84, on 07/21/2008, -12/+6Buried due to the boycott of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
- andersonwill, on 07/22/2008, -2/+2I was planning on boycotting the olympics anyway because it's ***** boring
- jmpeagle, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3i say we just boycott poor people. I am so sick of their *****.
- rex84, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1That's kina hard to do thanks to income taxes.
- gentlemanjack, on 07/22/2008, -0/+11That's cool but title is misleading. 27 are former athletes and 1 incoming but even 3 current athletes is great.
- sunwukong, on 07/22/2008, -1/+11ho hum, UCLA still has nothing on UC Berkeley and their 40 athletes/coaches: http://calbears.cstv.com/sports/olympics/spec-rel/ ...
- arjie, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Wow that is really impressive.
Off-topic: Did you ever read those illustrated books for children about the Monkey King with the gold-banded cudgel? Those were my favourites when I was a little kid. - m3mn0n, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Wow, I wonder how many are going from the UC system as a whole?
- PooPsnooP, on 07/22/2008, -3/+1GO BEARS.
UCLA sucks. - jeezie, on 07/22/2008, -2/+0And UC Berkeley is again outdone by Stanford and their 46 athletes + 1 coach.
http://gostanford.cstv.com/genrel/071608aaa.html - fatdog789, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2***** the inter-campus hate. UC is bringing more than 71 athletes to the Olympics.
Remember: All of the UC campuses are really just extension campuses for Cal.
- arjie, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1Wow that is really impressive.
- jlo2006, on 07/22/2008, -2/+4As of the 2006 Winter Olympics, UCLA and USC athletes combined account for nearly one fifth of all medals won by the United States of America. As of the last games, USC athletes account for 234 medals and UCLA athletes account for 213.

- waveman216, on 07/22/2008, -3/+1University for Spoiled Children...
- rholm, on 07/22/2008, -1/+2USC has sent more athletes to the Olympic Games than any other university. If USC were a country, it would rank 12th in Gold Medal count and 19th in total Olympic Medals. Good luck to Larsen Jensen and his quest for gold in the 400m and 1500m freestyle...had class with him last year and noone deserves gold more....
Fight On! - stevetrojanman, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2Absolutely...Fight On, Trojans!

- Splutterbug, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3"Of the 19 medals UCLA took home in 2004, eight were gold, eight were bronze and three were silver. If UCLA were a country, it would have placed 14th overall in the medal count."
Now that is impressive, I think that's better than the whole of the UK did! - fatas, on 07/22/2008, -6/+1Hopefully they are fat and ignorant, resembling your actual population, not like those skinny punks you sent over to Athens.
- earful, on 07/22/2008, -1/+1Yeah, a lot of us store the extra food as fat. But some of use it to make some pretty mean muscle. And some of us would punch you for a comment like that. But I'm not one of those people.
- BOFH2, on 07/22/2008, -1/+1probably the only way the team you support would win.
- earful, on 07/22/2008, -2/+0They grow 'em tall and strong in sunny California
- bruin8uclap, on 07/22/2008, -1/+0Of course we did.
- billyfalconer, on 07/22/2008, -1/+1Texas has nearly that many, but I can't find a total.
- gsadamb, on 07/22/2008, -2/+1Bruin Pride. :)
Of course, I just ended up being more into academics than extracurricular activities when I attended. Although my Political Science degree has really paid off. Now I'm a Software Engineer.
Wait, what was I writing about? - stevetrojanman, on 07/22/2008, -1/+1wrong reply
