  • mr.gates, on 10/24/2007, -1/+8I have a Kris Holm Unicycle and even had the privilege to ride with Kris in Moab Utah. Telling you guys Mountain Unicycling is like no other sport. There is nothing better then getting air on a direct drive single wheeled vehicle with no handlebars in front of you. You don't ride down the hill you fly down the hill. And you are there for the whole thing its very hard to explain unless you've done it.

  • briguymaine, on 10/24/2007, -0/+3Hey Topsy, I ride too! Not as well as Kris but I do mountain unicycle (muni) and I got to ride with him in Moab. He's an awesome rider. That clip is really old and the sport has grown dramatically in the last 5 year or so. Cool to see it front page on Digg!

While watching that other video all i could think was geeze your legs have to move as fast a your wheel or you will fall off hmmm kinda kills the whole notion of extreme if you ask me. Perhaps an even more lame sport would be down hill pogo.

  • OsamaBinTayTay, on 10/24/2007, -0/+0I am a unicyclist. In 8 years of riding I have only "nutted" myself twice, and they weren't while doing any sorta stunts like that. I forget one and the other was when I tried jumping off one uni onto another. I do muni, trials and street. It's all just practice.

    What people don't notice is your giggleberries sit in front of you. They are out of harms way, I have done a 5 foot static drop without any sort of pain.
