youtube.com — Here is Jake Brown's part in the Blind Skateboards what if video. Its starts of with some pretty incredible basketball shots at the DC Skate Facility followed by some amazing vert skateboarding.

    • diggerpleez, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2No doubt man... I was a ramp skater in the late 80s and you would laugh at the stuff we thought was amazing back then. The kind of technical stuff that came from the street and has been infused into vert skating is ridiculous.

  • ndelp, on 07/31/2008, -4/+4haha blind is the company he rides for, "what if" is blind's video, and jake brown can kill some vert. its cool how he does some techy stuff on a 12ft plus ramp and over those gaps on the DC vert ramp. he does stuff which is normally done skating street with all the flip tricks and what not, and not all boring grabs most vert skaters do one after another. granted this is coming from someone who skate street and not vert.

    anyway just thought id add a skateboarders perspective on the topic :D

  • TheMoniker, on 08/01/2008, -0/+6I was blown away when I first saw this part. The switch hardflip on the roll-in and the frontside 360 flips (turning with the board) were just butter. Of course, the switch bigspin flip from ramp to ramp and that huge kickflip to boardslide near the end was crazy as well. The whole damn part was pretty amazing.

    For street, I really liked Ronnie Creager's part in the same video, that guy has been killing it since way back in the day:
