- sundamole, on 10/03/2008, -0/+7Looking forward to a good fight.
- anderzole, on 10/03/2008, -0/+9Wanderlei genuinely dislikes Jackson.. should be a great fight!
- E5150ca, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Wanderlai hates everyone who trained with coleman's hammerhouse (which includes Rampage). Didn't he challenge them all to a fight backstage at a PRIDE event a couple years ago?
- anderzole, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2haha yeah, that video is great
- E5150ca, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Wanderlai hates everyone who trained with coleman's hammerhouse (which includes Rampage). Didn't he challenge them all to a fight backstage at a PRIDE event a couple years ago?
- roflmcwaffles, on 10/03/2008, -0/+11Rampage is coming off of a publicized emotional breakdown, and the UFC wants to feed him to the man who brutally KO'ed him twice?
Good luck with that, Quinton.- deadmann, on 10/03/2008, -3/+2They kicked a guy off TUF for getting drunk and kicking out window, but a guy that causes a woman to miscarry in a hit and run during a police chase they have no problem with?
http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dail ...- wrxpert, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2The guys on the show are basically on the clock the entire time they are on the show. Jackson's issue was private and should not effect his professional life. Jackson was also not drunk.
- deadmann, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Actually, the show had finished, it was between the show and the final. It's just after the whole speech Dana made about representing the UFC and MMA in public it's kind of odd that he would want him back after this behaviour, drunk or not.
- duster, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2I'm pretty sure doctors have determined that the woman's miscarriage was not a result of Quinton's actions. There's an article or something on Sherdog that I'll try to find.
- deadmann, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2Well that would remove the most egregious aspect.

- BlackX4Life, on 10/03/2008, -0/+8predictions:
wanderlei vs. rampage = wanderlei
forrest vs. evans = forrest- hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Can't wait for the Evans vs Forrest fight. Forrest has a great jaw and evans can throw a hell of a punch.
- metaperl, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Griffin has about a 6-inch reach advantage doesnt he?
- hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Yea something like that. I'm sure evans will want to take it to the ground but if Forrest can stuff him then he will have to stand up with him.
- hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Can't wait for the Evans vs Forrest fight. Forrest has a great jaw and evans can throw a hell of a punch.
- Pusod, on 10/03/2008, -9/+3boo! i wanna see kimbo in the match against rampage. that would be a great fight!
- hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -3/+8You're an idiot. Kimbo is a terrible fighter. Rampage would destroy kimbo. Any half decent fighter from the UFC would demolish Kimbo.
- Pusod, on 10/03/2008, -4/+2he hasn't lost a fight outside the ring or inside the ring... all he has to do is learn to counter a grapplers moves and start pounding the ***** out of them... remember kimbo has brute strength on his side. besides everyone knows that putting someone in a joint lock to tapout is a bitch move... if it were a strike only fight kimbo would rule!
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -1/+4no, Brock Lesnar has brute strength on his side, kimbo has an mma promotion on his side that wants to use him to make money off of noobs like you who think kimbo could beat up God, just because you saw him on youtube
and there are A LOT of mma fighters that would outstrike Kimbo hardcore. Fedor, Sylvia, Arlovski, Crocop, Overeem, Hunt, Schilt... the list goes on, and these are just heavyweights. if we were talking about light heavyweights, hell everyone in the top 15 would outstrike him.
so far your only real argument is "yeah well if kimbo learned the other 75% of mma and got good at it, then hed be the best!" - hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2So your argument is "If Kimbo fought in a different type of sport he would win"....good point?
Did you see the fight against James Thompson? James Thompson is a jobber who is not a very good fighter. Just a Tomato can for Kimbo to beat up on. James Thompson almost won that fight and should have if it wasn't for bad officiating.
Also he did lose a fight outside the ring to Sean Gannon. The ONLY reason he has not lost in the ring is because elite xc doesn't want him to. They keep feeding him easy fights while people who have stepped up and said they want to fight Kimbo are pushed away. If he was so great he should be taking all challengers. - goreyend, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2you just keep making your self look like and dumb ass Pusod
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -2/+3i dont guess the general public realizes that Kimbo isnt even a top 20 HW.
imagine Kimbo v Fedor, lol- hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2Well when ESPN ignores every MMA event that doesn't involve Kimbo what do you expect. I would pay so much to watch Fedor rip Kimbo apart.
- goreyend, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2that fight would last all of 1 sec
- ricefarmer, on 10/03/2008, -1/+5another mma noob
- metaperl, on 10/03/2008, -1/+4you forgot: this is mixed MARTIAL ARTS. Kimbo is a striker... I guess it's good to have some untrained street fighters around, but I prefer MARTIALS ARTISTS :)
- pimpofpixels, on 10/03/2008, -5/+3Screw you guys. Kimbo rules.
If you taught him some brazilian jiu Jitsu, he could stand toe to toe with either of these guys.- E5150ca, on 10/03/2008, -1/+4Kimbo went toe to toe in an mma fight (consisting of mainly striking) against James Thompson (a bum) and barely pulled off a win. Kimbo lost a "street" fight against Sean Gannon, who is a UFC reject.
Kimbo is a joke, and will get exposed once he faces a real top 20 opponent. - pimpofpixels, on 10/03/2008, -2/+2He beat Tank Abbot.. albeit when tank a little past his prime.
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2whats even more funny is that Kimbo couldnt even KO Thompson who has the nickname "glassjaw"
the last 2 guys he fought and the guy hes about to fight are on massive losing streaks as well
Kimbo might one day become a decent mma fighter, but thats going to be a long time from now. - pimpofpixels, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2Well he's too old to be a great fighter "a long time from now". Still, the guy is a brute. He just doesn't know submissions.
- molamann, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Tank Abbot had a prime?
- E5150ca, on 10/03/2008, -1/+4Kimbo went toe to toe in an mma fight (consisting of mainly striking) against James Thompson (a bum) and barely pulled off a win. Kimbo lost a "street" fight against Sean Gannon, who is a UFC reject.
- shauntacular, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2Kimbo is horrible. He's going to fight another horrible fighter, Ken Shamrock. GIVE IT UP KEN! IT'S NOT THE 90's ANYMORE!
- axpdocbrown, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2Right, so your saying a guy with 4 professional fights who can only beat has been over the hill fighters and a guy who had lost 7 out of his last 9 is going to beat Rampage?
Prediction: Rampage beats Kimbo in 22 seconds by use of talent. - jsavage58, on 10/03/2008, -1/+1I am hoping Shamrock comes in Juiced to the gourd like he used to be.
He doesn't need strikes to beat Kimbo
Knee bar tap out 2 minutes after Kimbo's first haymaker miss. - BigDigg55, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3No if Kimbo fights someone who actually has talent it will shut these guys up
- hokeywebb22, on 10/03/2008, -3/+8You're an idiot. Kimbo is a terrible fighter. Rampage would destroy kimbo. Any half decent fighter from the UFC would demolish Kimbo.
- Kugelfang, on 10/03/2008, -1/+3What a card! This might be the best UFC card in history. 2 title fights + 1 for the #1 contender, WOW
- RusskiGuy, on 10/03/2008, -0/+5Awesome lineup, but if I had to choose just one UFC to watch, I'd go with 90 for Silva vs Cote. Silva is just poetry in motion! No offense to Axe Murderers, and Rampages of this world of course...
- axpdocbrown, on 10/03/2008, -0/+4I'll agree with you on Silva...but like...don't you feel like they are handing him a win here?
- RusskiGuy, on 10/04/2008, -0/+2Well, I mean the guy already beat everyone worthwhile in his class and had to move up one to look for more challenge. I'm just glad to see him fight at all.
- axpdocbrown, on 10/03/2008, -0/+4I'll agree with you on Silva...but like...don't you feel like they are handing him a win here?
- xboxbman, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3this fight ends the same way it ended the second time they fought: rampage face down, unconscious in a pool of his blood
War Wanderlei!! - christianw, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2burying all ufc threads until zuffa pulls their collective heads out of their asses and do whatever it takes to sign fedor
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3UFC hw devision is pretty bleh right now.
More people want to see Fedor v Barnett at this point anyway.- christianw, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2yeah but still its almost impossible to have "the big" mma promotion, and say your hw champ is the "best in the world" when hes not faced fedor.
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2well, nog has faced fedor twice and got his ass kicked. someone will have to beat Nog before anyone would want to see them fight fedor
- E5150ca, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Fedor's management are insane. Part of the "deal" for signing Fedor was that the UFC had to build a sports arena in Russia.
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+4both sides had insane demands. the UFC didnt even want to let fedor fight in combat sambo competitions, they also wouldnt let him leave the UFC undefeated.
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3UFC hw devision is pretty bleh right now.
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3I just want to see Machida fight. He WILL be the future lhw champion, they're just dragging the process out
- metaperl, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2I like Machida's points-style approach quite a bit. And he is a trained martial artist from his diapers.
But I like Cung Le and Anderson Silva much more because they actually stay in there and fight.
I still need to check out urijah faber. Heard a lot about him.- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3the way Machida fights is dependent on his opponent. with better or more aggressive fighters he tends to push back harder, if they're lay and pray warriors (tito) he doesnt do as much (not that he wasnt impressive to watch against tito). just watch him v Rich Franklin or Bonnar, he demolished both guys in an aggressive fashion, he also dominated Soko.
id like to see him against someone more aggressive, like shogun or wanderlei,
- Zlorp, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3the way Machida fights is dependent on his opponent. with better or more aggressive fighters he tends to push back harder, if they're lay and pray warriors (tito) he doesnt do as much (not that he wasnt impressive to watch against tito). just watch him v Rich Franklin or Bonnar, he demolished both guys in an aggressive fashion, he also dominated Soko.
- E5150ca, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Machida has skills, but he's too boring to be a champ. Plus his English is terrible, and the UFC is already dealing with two champs (Anderson and Nog) who can't promote the sport in the UFC's home country.
- metaperl, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2I like Machida's points-style approach quite a bit. And he is a trained martial artist from his diapers.
- machobullshit, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2This will be good for multiple reasons, but one of the biggest will be if Quinton is completely as crazy as his post-title loss antics have lead us to believe.
I say yes.
and I can't wait to see it. - LivingTribunal, on 10/03/2008, -0/+21Dugg for MMA news on Digg :) Gotta show Love for my sport !! :)
- pimpofpixels, on 10/03/2008, -0/+4When is Fedor going to fight for the UFC title.
- HyphySoul, on 10/03/2008, -0/+6errr wth ever happened to Fedor? He would dominate UFC
- shauntacular, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2He kicked Tim Sylvia's ass a few months ago. I think he broke his hand or something like that. He was supposed to fight Arvlovski.
- angelslay, on 10/03/2008, -2/+3Fedor is above the UFC. I'd be happy if he never steps into the Octagon. All the major players in the heavyweight division that Fedor hasn't faced is outside the UFC. I never want to see Fedor be Dana White's dog.
- pimpofpixels, on 10/03/2008, -2/+3Don't you want to see Fedor as the undisputed best fighter on the planet.... end the speculation?
- angelslay, on 10/03/2008, -1/+3I think Fedor is already the undisputed best fighter on the planet. There is really only two big fights left for him and that is with Barnett and Arlovski. Couture would be a big fight money-wise but I honestly don't think it would be really competitive. I think the Couture-Lesnar-Nogueira-Mir tournament for the UFC title will have Nogueira coming out on top. He'd be best heavyweight if it wasn't for Fedor. but he's someone Fedor has defeated twice. I love the UFC production and would love to see Fedor fight in a cage, but I rather not see Fedor sell himself short to the likes of Dana White.
- molamann, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2Uhh, Fedor has already beaten Nog, Timmy, Barnett, CroCop, and countless other fighters. Not to mention he is technically undefeated in almost 30 fights, one loss being an accidental cut.
Only reason he hasn't signed with the UFC is contract disputes with UFC(Dana White.) Dana has a long history of contract/personal disputes with fighters, such as Barnett, Arvlovski, Lindland, Tito, etc.
- HyphySoul, on 10/03/2008, -0/+6errr wth ever happened to Fedor? He would dominate UFC
- HyphySoul, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3I hope Wanderlei ***** up Rampage
and is it just me, or does Forrest look like a badass version of Josh Hartnett? - angelslay, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1I really like both fighters, but it doesn't make much sense for them to be fighting a third time at this time since Silva has beaten Rampage twice already. It would make sense for the fight to happen if Rampage still had the title, or if Silva was the champion and Rampage was the number one contender. Not to say that Rampage isn't capable of beating Silva, but the timing isn't right. A Rampage-Shogun rematch should be happening instead.
- grapheads, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2 Dana White is feeding Jackson to the wolves. He doesn't seem to remember how Wandi beat the the piss out of Rampage and pretty much knocked him out of the ring in Pride.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNu9Lu8j6Sc&feature ... - MrBahaw, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2wow..........awesome lineup
- edebolt, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Why is the picture of Rashad Evans? Will be a good fight if Rampage mental health is not on the fritz. Rampage vs the ax murderer.... can't wait
- dialectical, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2Headline and main picture do not match ... bury please. I know Evans is on the card but when the headline is about Rampage or Wanderlai I expect to see that.
- Roblivionx, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1Wanderlei! Go go Axe Murderer.
Quinton was exposed by Forrest, attack the legs and withstand the beating that Quinton can deliver and you can beat him. - hybridcreation, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2I've been waiting for the Griffin/Evans announcement ever since Rashard knocked Liddel the ***** out. Gonna be an epic fight!
- partrow, on 10/03/2008, -3/+3I have been waiting for this fight of primitives for a long time. Ugg, ugg, fight, fight. Go, fight win. This is important activity.
- wrxpert, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3I am not sure if you are being racist or just disrespecting mma fighters. If it is the latter you should realize that these are some of the most disciplined athletes around. If it is the first issue then I have no hope for you.
- busterpratt, on 10/03/2008, -4/+3Quinton should be fighting Forrest. Forrest did not take the title from him. No one could say their was a definitive winner in that fight. When there is no definitive winner the belt goes to the champ not the challenger.
- Trunkhouse, on 10/03/2008, -1/+3Why are half the comments about kimbo
- post3r3r, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2i'm interested to see Rampage's growth. Maybe he can win this one.
- jsavage58, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1I am Shamrock hoping comes in Juiced to the gourd like he used to be.
He doesn't need strikes to beat Kimbo
Knee bar tap out 2 minutes after Kimbo's first haymaker miss. - getatmedigg, on 10/03/2008, -0/+6That pic is Rashad Evans not Quinton Jackson! I guess all black MMA fighters look alike.
- rsbryswrrl, on 10/03/2008, -1/+2Why is there a picture of Rashad Evans? Rampage has already lost to Wanderlai in Pride twice. I really don't see him winning this one, especially in light of all the craziness with him recently. Who knows where his head is. Eh - I'm just looking forward to UFC 91 so I can see Amir Sadollah's first UFC fight.
- diggittygal, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1I like rampage as much as the next gal, but my money is on Wanderlei this round. Rampage's gonna eat dust!!!
- Gooba, on 10/03/2008, -0/+4It is weird that I think both of these fighters are better than the two fighting over the title.
- wrxpert, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3It is even weirder that the UFC dose not have organized brackets for title contention. It is all about what they feel like showing us. It dose give us the chance to see really cool fights but it also sucks to see some good guys have a bunch of crappy fights.
- xobarbarian, on 10/03/2008, -5/+2Is it just me or does the idea of two sweaty, buff, and nearly naked dudes beating on each other seem really gay?
Do you like gladiator movies? - jseely, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1Watch out for the damn knees Rampage!
- wigginz, on 10/03/2008, -0/+2Silva is a machine... fighting two main events in two months, wow. I still have no doubt he'll win both in the first round, that guy is unbeatable.
- yammy1688, on 10/03/2008, -0/+1If Rampage would defend the DAMN THAI clinch, he'd be fine. He's got an iron chin and can take wandy's shots, but NOT multiple knees to the head. Same thing happened when he faced Shogun. DEFEND THE CLINCH.
- Extremesyko420, on 10/08/2008, -0/+1Quinton is a great fighter and I hate to count him out but Wanderlei is still a bad style match up. Wanderlei's aggressive muay thai style has done Rampage in twice, and I don't see how it won't this time. Still though this is a pretty badass fight card.
- wandpage, on 10/11/2008, -0/+0I think wanderlei is going to win again.... Poor Rampage, D White wasn't nice to him.
- Liam2012, on 10/14/2008, -0/+0I cannot wait for this fight! Quinton has really progressed as a fighter since those two losses to Silva. However, after seeing Silva absolutely destory Jardine (a man who destroyed the man who just beat Rampage), I think Rampage is going to be 0-3 against the axe murderer.
