- Archeologist, on 06/14/2008, -5/+71It's okay Bill, we know how you feel.
- clarionhaze, on 06/15/2008, -9/+4He totally pulled the memory card out without turning off the system first.
- lintmonkey, on 06/15/2008, -1/+4Fail.
- 32bytes, on 06/15/2008, -4/+7Battletoads didn't even had passwords, you had to start each time from level one.
- HumanRecall, on 06/15/2008, -12/+2Battletoads didn't even "HAVE"had passwords"." You had to start "OVER" each time "AT THE START OF" level one.
English Password - SuicideMouse, on 06/16/2008, -1/+1Try it sometime would you?
- HumanRecall, on 06/15/2008, -12/+2Battletoads didn't even "HAVE"had passwords"." You had to start "OVER" each time "AT THE START OF" level one.
- Larsonal777, on 06/15/2008, -0/+4I had levels 1 and 2 down perfectly... couldn't go ANY faster... but i could never get past the ***** bikes! I swear sometimes I'd get so far on them I'd be like does it EVER end then baamb... into the lava and back to level 1. You can only play a certain level so many times before your brain starts to melt and you have to take a break.
- skippy562, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2i finally got pass that part not too long ago...i went to the ice level and i lost but it didnt matter because i passed the speedbikes and i was excited.
- yohnstoppable, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2Heh, glad to see something I did finally make it to the fp, even if someone else did link it. Here's the original post if anyone is interested
http://flamingbaby.com/gaming/news/bill-oreilly-pl ...
I got the idea when I decided to go back and record a run through of the hoverbikes. I had just listened to all the bill oreilly remixes, so of course on one of my first deaths i instinctively yelled "***** thing sucks!" which gave me the idea. Glad so many enjoyed it
- clarionhaze, on 06/15/2008, -9/+4He totally pulled the memory card out without turning off the system first.
- sethorama99, on 06/14/2008, -7/+48Genius.
- dfsjdkflasjk, on 06/15/2008, -1/+3***** fantastic. Go go!
- keyboardduder, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5No, genius is the pause music for Battletoads.
- haxr, on 06/14/2008, -6/+172The funny thing is that with infinite lives, that stage just gets infinitely more frustrating.
- jimmaculate, on 06/15/2008, -2/+36I played that game for so many hours. It's freaking rough. You really just want to hit the warp and get the hell out of that level and up a few levels.
- xino, on 06/15/2008, -1/+6For the people that don't know where that is, hit the 10th wall after you hit the 5th stick.
- xino, on 06/16/2008, -0/+3To everyone who dugg me down, the reason I said to hit that wall is because the warp is right in front of it.
- Recluse, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1I know, I don't know why people are digging you down.
- Moose_Head, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1100% true, finally he is dugg up
- xino, on 06/16/2008, -0/+3To everyone who dugg me down, the reason I said to hit that wall is because the warp is right in front of it.
- xino, on 06/15/2008, -1/+10The warp in level 3 bypasses level 4 which is the Arctic Cavern and takes you to level 5. That's the level where you surf. If you miss the warp in 3 and go to 4, at one part in the cavern, you stand on this platform and it falls while you are standing on it. If you jump, it goes back up. Wait till it drops about half way down and a portal will open above you. Keep jumping and the platform will continue rising and you will hit the portal. The warp will take you to level 6. That's the snake pit level. The platform you fall on to activate the portal is some thing you have to do to get to the end of 4 (if you choose) so it's not like you have to go off on a side trail to go find this platform.
- lintmonkey, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5Don't warp out of the bike level. Killing evil snowmen with snowballs is worth the pain.
- xino, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1That's a good point. On the one hand, level 3 is pretty hard IMO, but level 5 is hard too and I think it might be harder than 3. Level 4 isn't easy, but it's very doable whether you warp out of 4 or just go to the end or at least it is with infinite lives. In the end, you are so screwed no matter which path you choose to take. I played that game a lot with Game Genie and I am only able to beat 1-4, maybe 6, and 12, but for 12, I have to use Game Genie to warp there.
- leahcim, on 06/15/2008, -1/+12I bow to your knowledge of 25 year old games.
- xsquirrel378x, on 06/16/2008, -0/+5*15 year old games and its battletoads, the titan of all side scrollers
- xino, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1@squirrel378 That's true it's more like 15 years old, but as far as the warps are concerned, I am sure there are lots of people that didn't know there were warp zones in the game. The only reason I knew that is because I bought like 30 issues of Nintendo Power for like $3 in the early 90s from a friend and one of them contained all the warp zone info.
I should also mention there is a warp zone in the first level. You head butt the first 2 enemies and go forward and the warp is on the hill. It doesn't matter how you kill them, but the warp is only there so long and head butting is the quickest way to go. That warp takes you to level 3.
- lintmonkey, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5Don't warp out of the bike level. Killing evil snowmen with snowballs is worth the pain.
- SeventhSon, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5I never thought that the hoverbikes were nearly as frustrating as the surfing or the snake levels.
- TimTheSloth, on 06/15/2008, -0/+6most people probably don't get that far.
- xino, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1@timethesloth I agree, but for the people that used Game Genie, they could warp to any level they wanted and with a game like Battle Toads, Game Genie is a must have and even then, you probably won't be able to beat the game with infinite lives and warping unless you warp to 12.
- Recluse, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1I played all the way to the final level with infinite lives thanks to Game Genie, I could not make it to the top of that friggin tower no matter what I did.
- xsquirrel378x, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1good luck when you get to clinger winger ^_^
- xino, on 06/15/2008, -1/+6For the people that don't know where that is, hit the 10th wall after you hit the 5th stick.
- Flashtone, on 06/15/2008, -7/+18Made my ***** day!
- CoffeeJoost, on 06/15/2008, -4/+8That was so funny. lmao Go, go, go.

- rapcrap187, on 06/15/2008, -3/+23HAHAHA dugg for the incredible thinking to make this one
- smittysize, on 06/15/2008, -2/+20He still won't admit that it's a Battletoads quagmire.
- Jeps, on 06/15/2008, -12/+51Should of done it live.

Forgive me as I lose faith in humanity...
Also, I am sincerly sorry if you haven't been taught conjunctions yet in school. Third grade is tough enough without my bullying.- H1tchh1k3r, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2DURR DURR

- phaseblue, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5No ice caves level for poor ol' Bill.
- zebco, on 06/15/2008, -15/+2This is ***** lame. The initial O'Reilly footage was awesome for about two weeks. After that, it's just embarrassing to watch someone try to use the memes as a battlecry or to mash it up with something.
- smittysize, on 06/15/2008, -1/+4You're right to some extent, but this one was really funny, come on.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 06/15/2008, -2/+5Could have been more dramatic.
- xSledgewick, on 06/15/2008, -2/+18Haha, awesome. I love how Bill says, "***** it."
- 10goto10, on 06/15/2008, -10/+5Meh.

- thrikulam, on 06/15/2008, -3/+12Angry Video Game Nerd got nothing on Bill.
- ZeRux, on 06/15/2008, -36/+1
- smittysize, on 06/15/2008, -1/+35Yeah, he's also a good man because he repeatedly sexually harassed a woman over the phone, got sued, found out she had been recording the calls, and settled out of court for 10 million dollars. Keep up the good work Bill!
- MuffinPatrol, on 06/15/2008, -1/+8Going for most dig downs of the week?
- ShaggyRogers, on 06/15/2008, -0/+14I think of myself a fairly conservative guy and I can't stand that blowhard. Regardless if his opinions are correct or not, he's douchebag about them.
- crsd36, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1Like him or not, this is still funny.
- keyboardduder, on 06/15/2008, -1/+12Boo Chaa Boo Chaa Boo Chee chee chee....
- SeventhSon, on 06/15/2008, -1/+2I usually let a few more boo chaas go by before I went for the chees.
- john2kx, on 06/15/2008, -1/+18Bill seems to be moving the craft too far up and down.. When it starts getting really fast, the best thing to do is just inch your way slightly above or slightly below the blocks, until you hit the warp or the end of the stage.
But anyway, he more or less reflected my feelings on the game dead on. :) - SeaweedWater, on 06/15/2008, -14/+1supergay, superfake..
- InfinitySnatch, on 06/15/2008, -3/+74How did he even get a copy of that game? I've been calling Gamestop about it for weeks, but they don't even know what I'm talking about.
- Sornos, on 06/15/2008, -8/+1virtualnes.com has it.
- Stavrosian, on 06/15/2008, -2/+5Gamestop or nothing.
- JSquad, on 06/15/2008, -7/+2Oh gee, how original and clever you are.

- JaZz0r, on 06/15/2008, -5/+3Most Gamestop employees have never seen an original NES.
- funkyloki, on 06/15/2008, -3/+0Most Gamestop employees wouldn't know a good game if it fell out of the sky, landed on their face and started to wiggle.
- solid12345, on 06/16/2008, -1/+1Unless they are trying to give you a member's card then they pretend they know everything about the games they never heard of.

- Sornos, on 06/15/2008, -8/+1virtualnes.com has it.
- ShaggyRogers, on 06/15/2008, -10/+2This wasn't all that amusing...
- dagnabbit, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1Thanks for stopping by and providing us with your criticism!
- turkoftheplains, on 06/15/2008, -7/+3This video makes me wonder if perhaps Gamestop might have a copy of this game.
- DThatsMe, on 06/15/2008, -1/+4Brilliant.
I can finally relate with him on something.
I beat that level 1 time in the early 90's. Been trying again ever since.
:( - striker1211, on 06/15/2008, -2/+15ALL HAIL BATTLETOAD... THEY DO IT LIVE!
- jftitan, on 06/15/2008, -2/+1What do you expect. I mean, Bill O' admitted he couldn't figure out link'n logs.
- Mikhail101, on 06/15/2008, -1/+4I feel his pain, I hated that level.
- 1807, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5I loathed that level. ***** Freddy Kruger, that's what haunted my dreams as a child.
- Hetman, on 06/15/2008, -1/+5As a kid I was much more angry about that level than bill is. I do not think I ever beat it. And it always pissed me off because battletoads was so fun up to that point.
- TheRyanDude, on 06/15/2008, -8/+3Why is there 4CHANS IN MY DIGG!
- fpaudon, on 06/15/2008, -2/+1FIGHTAN GAEMS!!!
- marcoionox, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1The level after that one (The one where you should grab & hold the snakes) was even worse...
- ligyron, on 06/15/2008, -0/+2Great idea, I think it could've been done better though
- Snoosy, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1Even when I used 1000+ save states, that game was nearly impossible to beat.
- zobobob, on 06/15/2008, -5/+2Is this Battle Toads?
- logicet, on 06/15/2008, -2/+2are you a moron?
- Crosshare, on 06/15/2008, -0/+8I think its Combat Amphibians
- dagnabbit, on 06/15/2008, -0/+2We've all been there Bill. We've all been there.
- Regulator980, on 06/15/2008, -0/+37Did anyone click on the related video of a trench-coat wearing Bill Gates in a game of Doom?
http://www.wegame.com/watch/Bill_Gates_in_Doom/
"These games are getting really...realistic."
-Bill Gates (1995)- Hetman, on 06/15/2008, -1/+4That video is awesome. It is strange that ms waited so long to enter the console market when you see that video.
- shatteringfast, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1Dugg
- chemic34, on 06/15/2008, -0/+3Hahahaha that part is pretty frustrating. The hardest part for me is when you have to jump from platform to platform on that jetski thing, that ***** always killed me. I could beat that level though! The worst one by far was rat race. That ***** was impossible.
- timsline, on 06/15/2008, -1/+14Dugg for Battletoads
- kpaphysicist, on 06/15/2008, -3/+6One time, my cousin beat that game without dying once.
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 06/15/2008, -0/+8And I bet he's played Duke Nukem Forever.
- ichbeineinrcg, on 06/15/2008, -0/+6Next you'll come out with some other ***** lie, like beating SFII with Dhalsim, or Contra without the Konami Code.
Go peddle your stories somewhere else, deceiver!- ExSlashdotter, on 06/15/2008, -0/+4Battletoads on one life? Not in a million years.
Contra without the code? I've seen it done online, but never myself.
But SFII with Dhalsim? Sure, he's one of the least desirable characters (i'm looking at you, zangief), but that achievement is hardly on the level of the other mentioned. Maybe me, my brother, and every kid on my street just had some uber micro.
- ExSlashdotter, on 06/15/2008, -0/+4Battletoads on one life? Not in a million years.
- kpaphysicist, on 06/15/2008, -0/+3haha, i was lying. every damn kid used to say something along those lines starting with "one time, my cousin"
- CyberStriker, on 06/15/2008, -2/+5Gentlemen, you know what to do... Call GameStop and ask for BATTLETOADS!
- brhees, on 06/15/2008, -0/+12The worst thing about that level -- playing it with two players.
- blanktarget, on 06/15/2008, -1/+10That stage was made to detect if you were a robot.
- DiggGeek24, on 06/15/2008, -1/+0Battletoads I busted 5 controllers on that game cracked my tv screen.
- spaceman84, on 06/15/2008, -1/+1I prefer Attackamphibians.
- FFXIfrohike, on 06/15/2008, -0/+7There's a special place in hell for whoever designed that stage.
- Recluse, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2Pfft not for that stage, the stage in the SNES battetoads game where you have to ride that stupid roller coaster and a giant saw blade chases you. That's the one someone for which someone should go to hell.
- FFXIfrohike, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1I'd successfully repressed the memory of that one. Thanks for sending me back to therapy...
- wamitch, on 06/15/2008, -1/+0LOL, that's exactly the way I felt during that stage. It's one of the hardest parts of any game i've ever played.
