What I don't understand is Bethesda' ***** about the new generation of gaming. Look what Blizzard did; I bet you they will sell more copies then Fallout 3. Diablo 3 is exactly like Diablo 2, just a better environment and effects. I wish Interplay never sold the IP or at least sold it to a company that has talent.

        Bethesda's "Fallout 3" could be a good game on its own, it just IS NOT Fallout 3. That is the whole point. Selling a game as a sequel is deception because it is not. It is more like an FP action RPG spin off than a sequel. Regardless of whether you played the game yet or not, that much is clear from the enormous amount of information out there regarding the game.

        Metroid Prime was a true sequel in a different perspective. All was forgiven when the gameplay proved that it could deliver. Fallout 3 could do just that, or it might not. What makes a sequel as others have pointed out is the feel and flow.

I've also played Fallout Tactics, which kept the 3rd person isometric view but sucked. I loved Fallout for the setting, the humor, and the story/characters. If they can keep those things in Fallout 3 then it will be a great sequel in my eyes.

The boss at the end splitting open and gushing blood down its body after dropping below a set point in health just isn't the type of thing I'd ever expect shown in WoW.

Of 7 Evil's discussed in the earlier Diablo games. the Prime Evils Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal are dead, as are the Lesser Evils Andariel and Duriel. Azmodan and Belial, who ejected Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, out of Hell are still alive, having never been shown in the game. I'm presuming the demon shown in the trailer is one of these two, but then we have artwork like http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/_images/artwork/ss ... . Is that Lilith? New boss? So many options. =)

        Hopefully Blizzard realizes what a trainwreck that turned into for Flagship and doesn't try to create a "revenue mode" that involves holding content and fixes hostage for a monthly fee.

        That however didn't mean they'd make the game, seeing as they've had the rights for a movie with the title "Diablo" for quite a handful of years (Since D2 at the least).

        It will be free because all of Blizzard's battle.net games are free. However, they have a closed battle.net which is their own servers running the online play and there is an open battle.net which is p2p and in which you can take your single player characters online with friends. The problem with playing in open is cheating runs rampant and you can use a character editor/mess with files to max out your character in pretty much every way imaginable.

        I don't, however, know if there will be an open bettle.net option for D3. I can only assume.

What makes a good game is simple: how fun it is. Not once while playing WoW did I have any fun. The constant grinding, farming for new gear, etc. is not what I would consider fun and therefore WoW is not a good game in my opinion.         I remember when my brother discovered you could hold down the mouse button, he was amazed. It would be amusing to poll Diablo2 players to see how many know it's possible.
