HELP New Mexico Man Missing for 10 days

findstevenromero.org — Steven Romero has been missing for 10 days. His truck was found along the side of the road with two flat tires yet when examined there was nothing wrong with the tires. If anyone can be of assistance or knows of his where abouts please contact the New Mexico State Police. Search is planned for Sat. April 26, 2008 at 9 am . Mile marker 35 NM HWY 117

      I'm sure since you saw the website, that you saw that....right? You did read it......I would assume.

The family is hoping for volunteers to help search the area as it is a wide area in the middle of no where....also....you ever been to New Mexico? Not exactly the most progressive/forward thinking/fast to react state. It was only a little earlier this week the police officially classified him as missing and everything that is being done or released is being checked and ok'd through them first. That sometimes takes time.

  • aircat, on 04/25/2008, -0/+4What concerns me is there has been little follow-up on the local TV news programs about Mr. Romero. I'm in Albuquerque and try to watch at least one news program a night. Haven't heard anything in a week on this. El Malpais is very rugged, a bad place to get lost. Although I will be unable to join Saturday's search, I will be thinking of Mr. Romero and his family. Here's hoping he is found alive.
