Mary Did It
alexanderwrites.blogspot.com — What is amazing about Mary is that she lived a godly life in a godless place, and she did so as a very young teenager. Commentators believe she may have been as young as 12, but not much older than 14. - Greg Laurie

Great point. If I may add - this wasn't by accident. This young lady knew God's Word, and boy, she knew it well. Check out Luke 1:46-55, her reaction to learning that she was to be the mother of the long-awaited Messiah. It is full of quotes from the Scriptures. According to the study Bible that I use, "there are 15 discernible quotations from the OT" in her response.
Quite an example as to how important it is to know God's Word at any age, and how important it is for us to teach it to the children. - lodibug3, on 05/22/2008, -1/+4We certainly don't do it on our own accord do we... Only with the help of the Holy Spirit living within us, can we ever hope to be... as the Bible calls us, HOLY! Our Christian faith, unlike any other, does not have only a "good example" ...but One who actually Indwells us! What a blessing.
