The World's Most Wanted White-Collar Fugitives
forbes.com — It didn't take long for the feds to get their hands on Samuel Israel III after he faked his death on the Bear Mountain Bridge just north of New York City. - ironeus, on 08/28/2008, -2/+9Due to their higher intelligence many time they are more dangerous than street criminals.
- bigsteve, on 08/28/2008, -0/+8Street criminals, I'd argue, are more dangerous because of their ruthlessness and their lack of intelligence. Intelligence would make most people think twice about doing something that would be very hard to cover up and would land them hard time in prison.
When I'm walking home in Philadelphia after work, I'm not looking over my shoulder for spammers... - DrDragun, on 08/28/2008, -0/+1Wrong, smart criminals know how to get millions of dollars without killing anyone (which would double or triple their jail sentences). They only take calculated risks. Dumb criminals will stab someone for unknown wallet contents (maybe nothing).
The only super dangerous super smart criminals are not motivated by money, but are instead activists/terrorists like the Unabomber.

- gumby013, on 08/28/2008, -0/+6Good to see my old boss on the list. Seriously.
- Maciula, on 08/28/2008, -0/+1It would be so nice to be one of them, sail the world in luxury yacht, chill at the beach and most of all say big F-u to the corrupt government which defrauded trillions for fake wars and is and will forever be unaccountable.
- evfinkelstein, on 08/28/2008, -1/+1The picture in the slideshow for the second person, Ghaith Pharaon, is terribly photoshopped. Citing the FBI was a nice touch.
