Three Europeans win 2008 Nobel for medicine

reuters.com — One German and two French scientists won the 2008 Nobel prize for medicine or physiology for their discoveries of two viruses that cause severe human diseases, the prize awarding institute said on Monday.

  • dezweber, on 10/06/2008, -0/+2Heard about this on NPR this morning. About time the frogs got credit for their work! My mother died of cervical cancer and so the Nobel to the German is a lot more meaningful to me.
