(captions) - Phylodome, on 06/23/2008, -2/+40Concrete evidence that:
1. Underneath our disillusioned posturing, we're all the same
2. Adults ruin the world
3. The Earth is way too beautiful to ***** up any further - Amplix, on 06/23/2008, -2/+2this was great, it reminded me of Amanda Congdon dancing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uccO1emKeaQ
- tbirdly26, on 06/23/2008, -2/+1He's back after polishing his sick pair of Ray Band's
- rayishu, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1LOL @ 1:30, there is a hardgay impersonator
- DifferentColors, on 06/23/2008, -0/+0domo!
- tonich03, on 06/24/2008, -0/+4well. IM ON THE VIDEOO!! IN SPAIN!!
- dharmesh, on 06/22/2008, -27/+17Is it me, or did the song/music change from the original version? In any case, the HD is nice (but still choppy for me).
- tafkase7en, on 06/22/2008, -4/+22The song in the original was much better.
- nobody98, on 06/23/2008, -1/+1Agreed I loved it.
- Scape89, on 06/22/2008, -0/+6I agree the original song was better. It is called "Sweet Lullaby Dancing Remix" by Deep Forest.
- Elliuotatar, on 06/22/2008, -1/+5This is a different video than the original. There've been three I think. They all had different music. I liked the music from the other ones better myself though.
- antiorblkflag9, on 06/22/2008, -0/+1I wish I could switch between the two without the video stopping. It would be nice to be able to see the difference in real time.
- kaplanfx, on 06/22/2008, -1/+7I can play 1080p in quicktime perfectly, is the performance of flash video that much worse (more overhead?)
- willynilly, on 06/22/2008, -3/+2Where did you see a 1080p version?
- applemachome, on 06/22/2008, -0/+6He didn't. He was saying he can play a 1080P in quicktime well, but a high def in flash doesn't play smoothly.
- lbdinh, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1It ran pretty smooth on mine streamed but the quality isn't as good. Methinks it went through a lot of compression.
- willynilly, on 06/22/2008, -3/+2Where did you see a 1080p version?
- willynilly, on 06/22/2008, -8/+2A great job, but yes, that music's gotta go. I started watching with the sound off and was imagining some ridiculous bouncy music like that for the old Six Flags guy; the actual music was not at all dancy and totally inappropriate for the footage.
- mrASSMAN, on 06/22/2008, -5/+3Played perfectly smooth for me.. maybe you need to upgrade your flash player..
It's not HD anyway, good quality but they shouldn't call it HD. - willynilly, on 06/23/2008, -4/+6Since when is 640 x 330 "HD"?
- dOOBiEx213, on 06/23/2008, -7/+2Agreed. I am VERY annoyed at the fact that I have my PC hooked up to a 1080p TV... and I get excited to see that I might be able to stream "HD" videos, only to realize its nubcakes that keep calling better-quality-than-youtube "HD." ***** like YouTube, Vimeo, and Veoh are an insult to my eyes... I don't understand how people can stand to watch squares changing colors.
- kaplanfx, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3They claims somewhere on the site that the HD versions are 720p.
- palehorse864, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1It's better than Comcast HD. :)
- IAmCuteKitty, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2You should try flash 10, very smooth for me.
- tafkase7en, on 06/22/2008, -4/+22The song in the original was much better.

- DarkKnight5590, on 06/23/2008, -1/+16To be quite honest I did cry.
I don't know why but I did. Beautiful music as well. - wonderbriefs, on 06/23/2008, -0/+13Same here, bro. It's just great to see someone go to those lengths for something so...simple.
- username484767, on 06/23/2008, -1/+3same here, most likely because I see so much misery, was nice to see people happy, hopping about and having fun for no reason
- heavystone, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1I cried as well. Its just so nice to see such happiness. Its like the National Geographic video: The World is Awesome.
- nads, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Can't find a link, any chance you know where to find it?

- ejkook, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3Cried as well. A small glimpse of pure humanity: silly dancing is fun.
- Gella321, on 07/12/2008, -0/+1You're not the only one, bro.
- GT35R, on 06/22/2008, -50/+11yeah you were right, you do sound like a vag.
- Justin6512, on 06/22/2008, -0/+171I think it's almost inspiring seeing him get so many people from around the world participate in his videos. It makes you forget about all the trouble and sadness in the world. It makes everyone feel equal.
It must of been a thrill for all the village children throughout the video.- Namaha, on 06/22/2008, -26/+7I want to digg you for the content of your reply, but I also want to bury you for saying "must of" instead of "must have."
Ah whatever, the reply is more important, +1 for you.- FatLoser, on 06/22/2008, -3/+28your such an ass

- Larsonal777, on 06/23/2008, -1/+7grammar police are not welcome in the where the hell is matt video comments area... only tears... tears and dancing
- Namaha, on 06/22/2008, -26/+7I want to digg you for the content of your reply, but I also want to bury you for saying "must of" instead of "must have."
- Ghjnut, on 06/22/2008, -0/+84It inspires the idea that we are not all as different as we assume
- Larsonal777, on 06/23/2008, -1/+4we're not all different... but that doesn't make us all equal... equality is a trait that we try to push too much as a democratic nation... and by equality i mean we all have different talents and trying to say that everyone is the "same" is not necissarilly good... we can see from the vids that we are similar... that we were made from the same image but we all have different prospectives and we shouldn't pull people down when we strive for equality but rather build people up. Use our differences to our advantage. Any stratagist, engineer, architect, artist, musician... heck anyone can tell you that two heads are better than one...because these two heads are DIFFERENT. The problem is when the difference scares us... and THAT... that is why this video is so cool... because it removes that fear. We are not all the same... but we are not all that different either.
- roomforpanic, on 06/22/2008, -1/+147At first it was funny and goofy, and then it ripped my heart out and I felt homesick for places I've never been. Life is truly beautiful.
- Slick37c, on 06/23/2008, -0/+15Homesick for places I've never been... dugg for perfection.
- zephyr42, on 06/22/2008, -0/+134People not fighting, not arguing, not killing each other, not living in fear, not hating, not feeling bitter.... just happy people everywhere doing what we should be doing all along, living together in this crazy universe dancing and being happy.
- Larsonal777, on 06/23/2008, -4/+3that is until someone says their song and dance is better than your song and dance.
- KCinQC, on 06/22/2008, -0/+78I'm the same way. I smiled, laughed, then got teary-eyed with Matt's first video. I did with this one too, especially when he went to the middle east.
We're all the same damnit. We're all part of the same family that is humanity. We're constantly being bombarded about our differences. Matt shows us our similarities in the simplest, and purest forms: dance, laughter, song.
Thanks Matt.- tgustafson7, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1I agree. This film gives me a little bit of hope for the future.

- magnus3994, on 06/23/2008, -3/+4This is a rick roll.
- Pake, on 06/22/2008, -0/+18Agreed and I really hope he continues making videos like these.
- Iwantawii, on 06/22/2008, -2/+4Because everybody knows the world could change into the most peaceful and still place beyond all imagination, and would take only a single moment. We just all have to make that decision at the same time. Namaste.
- bratterscain, on 06/23/2008, -2/+8I hate to be the pessimist, as usual, but happiness is not happiness without sadness. How do we know when all is going right in the world without experiencing the times when things aren't going right? It's like a universal law. And philosophically, like yin and yang. The times when I'm sick and come out of it, I actually feel better than normal because I'm reminded of what bad times can be and realize the good in common, everyday situations.
- rhapsodisiac, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2True, but we don't need all of the sadness we perpetuate. Knowing we're going to die is enough. The rest should be roses. That's WHY the rest should be roses.
- bratterscain, on 06/23/2008, -2/+8I hate to be the pessimist, as usual, but happiness is not happiness without sadness. - IglooBurner, on 06/22/2008, -2/+2Because it shows that behind all the poverty and death we see and hear about everyday on the news there's still hope and happiness. And I guess we're all just a bit relieved knowing that the world is better off than our nightly news makes it out to be.
- wickensworth, on 06/22/2008, -10/+1Whatever it is, it gives me douche chills
- wickensworth, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2For clarification, I meant the good kind of douche chills
- Laminarcissus, on 06/23/2008, -5/+37The US should broadcast this to the world over all our communication satellites the moment George Bush is out of office.
- Larsonal777, on 06/23/2008, -3/+4Ummm... I fail to see why we have to wait until George Bush is out of office.
If you think that George wouldn't get teary eyed and feel like dancing with this vid than you are blinded by the differences that you claim this vid is trying to get rid of.- Laminarcissus, on 06/23/2008, -1/+7George Bush would not get teary-eyed and feel like dancing with this video. I'm more than sure that he and his political advisers would try to find a way to turn it to his political advantage.
George Bush has had eight long years to demonstrate even the slightest interest in the spirit of global understanding and brotherhood that this video represents. Instead, he has ignored other nations, involved us in wars that were more personal than Presidential, and taken a wide array of actions to specifically undermine the most sacred ideas on which this country was founded.
So I don't have to speculated on how George Bush would react, he's given me eight years of evidence that his cynicism and greed would crush any optimism I might be able to muster. - Larsonal777, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3you say that exActly like one of those people who was against George Bush from the beginning... like you've just been searching for ANYthing you can milk. Its those big generalized statements that give you away. Everyone on digg keeps on going on and on about how George is greedy and that this war somehow helps him and his pocket book... But no one gets into specifics... its allways just Bush and his cronies are evil because... well ***** give some evidence. I have a severely hard time believing that Bush wakes up in the morning thinking how can i ***** up America more considering he IS and American citizen himself. I'm not saying Bush hasn't made mistakes, sure hes made a lot of them, but saying that he's evil or stupid without any support behind it is just childish.
- Laminarcissus, on 06/23/2008, -1/+7George Bush would not get teary-eyed and feel like dancing with this video. I'm more than sure that he and his political advisers would try to find a way to turn it to his political advantage.

- redscofield, on 06/23/2008, -1/+6renews your faith in humanity... we're not perfect creatures, in fact far from it... but every once in a while, we can be create the most powerful and beautiful moments... this was one of them...
- alireza0, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2I would have given this more than one thumb up if I could. It really did make me happy.
- Melun91, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2You sir, just made me smile.
- annalyzationn, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3Good to know I'm not the only one. :)
It's so inspiring to see someone accomplish something like this.
- Hayes, on 06/22/2008, -10/+81It's the music.
- Socram, on 06/22/2008, -1/+303Spectacular! Some of those shots are so well done. My personal faves are Panama Canal with the containers moving in the background and the India dance one. Regardless, the whole thing makes me laugh.
Who wouldn't do this given the chance?- andrew1210, on 06/22/2008, -2/+17The whole video is an art
- TekeeTakShak, on 06/23/2008, -16/+1Greenscreened, duh.
- TheMime, on 06/23/2008, -0/+17My favorite part is the dancing guy in the wheelchair at 4:00.
This whole video is just so uplifting. - pr0t0, on 06/23/2008, -0/+7He got on the Vomit Comet! There are a lot of places that are hard to get to, but it's HARD to get a ride on the Vomit Comet isn't it? Damn!
Well played sir!- RationalXubrnce, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2 Anyone can get on a zero G plane for a few thousand dollars. I know they fly them down in Florida.

- wild, on 06/23/2008, -0/+20Personally, I loved the choreography of the dance in India.
- cipher121, on 06/23/2008, -0/+6I laughed at the Korean DMZ one.
- Larsonal777, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1why wasn't that guy dancing? damn it... i blame the worlds problem on THAT guy.... yeah... and everyone who didn't dance along to the vid.
- notanidiot, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3WELL! Looks like SOMEONE can die a happy man! Lucky piece of *****!

- Kiwibomb, on 06/22/2008, -0/+32no kidding i'm jealous. i'd love to travel to all those places
- Cloud7654, on 06/23/2008, -0/+8I love the kid who is hip thrusting in Atlanta, Georgia.

I swear my jaw dropped when I saw that; I'd ***** a brick if I were him.- Hangly, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2Every North Korean I've bet has been pretty damn cool.
- nads, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1The DMZ zone is less strict on the North Korean side is far more relaxed than the South Korean side. on the S. Korea side you can't look at the N.K guards or point or smile or take photos.
- jguy584, on 06/23/2008, -0/+8The guy all the ways to the right in Brisbane (@1:06 mark) was by far the best.

- d3ni4l, on 06/23/2008, -1/+7Well I'm just guessing but I believe he gets some of his money from Stride Gum, seeing as the advertisement. So maybe he works helping them do commercials?
ex. They could use this for video for there commercial.
"Stride Gum Makes everyone happy"- EmileVictor, on 06/23/2008, -0/+8I've met him in person (i'm in this video). Before he started travelling he was a games designer for Activision and then afterwards Pandemic Studios in Brisbane. He was the inspiration for the game "Destroy all humans!".
In person he's really affable, and when he's in a small group he's really easy to chat with.

- jetboyterp, on 06/22/2008, -5/+50OK...just HOW did this guy get into the Korean DMZ? If in fact it really IS the building there. IT certainly looks a lot like it, so I don't doubt it's real, but still....that ain't an easy place to visit.
- marcushe, on 06/22/2008, -2/+16Yeah, well he was obviously on the South Korean side...dunno man, but it's awesome.
- jetboyterp, on 06/22/2008, -0/+28But that particular building straddles both North and South. It's kind of a "middle ground", and when the South uses it (which is more often than the North) the N. Korean soldiers are always peering through the windows taking note of everything that's going on. I'm not sure how they would have explained some guy doing a ho-down dance to "dear leader" tho...
- xjeffx, on 06/22/2008, -0/+15Tourists can arrange to go into North Korea, through the DMZ. You are accompanied by an approved North Korean guide the entire time though and there are many restrictions on when you can go, how long you can stay, and where you visit. From what I've heard, it really isn't that interesting and the only reason to actually go is just to say you went.
- astericks, on 06/22/2008, -0/+3Definitely business casual attire. If I remember correctly, no pictures either.
I actually had a chance to go, but opted out due to not enough time and it was not that appealing to me anymore. - jetboyterp, on 06/23/2008, -1/+13Yeah, I've heard of tour groups going through there...and that great special that was on cable a short while back called "Inside North Korea" where an American journalist traveled with an eye doctor that was going to NK to perform surgeries. They had a government minder with them all the time, they could film, but when one cameraman was filming a giant statue of Kim, the guards told him "no".
@atericks....Dang, If ever I have the opportunity to go to N. Korea, I would take it! Too many Americans think we live in an opressive regime here, and everyone should get the chance to see what a REAL repressive regime looks like. - Tandaemonium, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Well evidently, dancing is another good reason to go!
- astericks, on 06/22/2008, -0/+3Definitely business casual attire. If I remember correctly, no pictures either.
- cJeremy, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3it's a tourist attraction.
- grantino9, on 06/23/2008, -0/+6You can visit the JSA, including those blue conference rooms which actually straddle the Military Demarcation Line, by contacting the USO in Seoul. Matt must be pretty big, because when I went those ROK soldiers were HUGE.
- inferno10, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3The USO also offers a tour of the DMZ. Matt was obviously on the South Korean side, so he most likely visited through this agency. The USO advises visitors to make no threatening motions or any gestures while at the truce village, as it could be allegedly used by North Korea for propaganda. Since the area is still technically a war zone, visitors are warned that they could die.
I wonder how the North Koreans would have used this for propaganda... - Shawn4168, on 06/23/2008, -0/+7Matt actually talks about the circumstances in his blog: http://wherethehellismatt.typepad.com/blog/south_k ...
- MelvinSchlubman, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1This weekend, I went to Korean Heritage Camp in Colorado (it's about Korean adoption - our boy is 12). One of the speakers talked about Korea visits for Korean adoption families. One bit she mentioned about these visits was visiting the DMZ, so I surmised that it's not too difficult for tourists to do.
- Asheis, on 06/23/2008, -1/+2the real question is how he got into that antigravity chamber at nellis! for all the years I lived in vegas, with a dad that worked on the base and I never got to visit that place :(
- captmorgan555, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3You realize its an airplane right?
- Asheis, on 06/24/2008, -0/+1oh relax, you know what I mean
- captmorgan555, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3You realize its an airplane right?
- Black6x, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2Got to go there in 2001 while still at teh military academy. That room is the only place where you can cross over into North Korea (at least without getting shot). It's generally used for meetings by both sides. On that table in the room, there are microphones to record the discussions, and they are actually on the table on the border (table length is equal on both sides of the border, etc.).
- Inspiron700m, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Here is the tour led by American soldiers, in the exact same MAC building Matt was in...video:
http://thedailykimchi.blogspot.com/2006/10/dmz-tou ... - DrinkPaint, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2The DMZ is an easy place to visit.
- notanidiot, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1How'd he get to the DMZ? Probably by train.
- marcushe, on 06/22/2008, -2/+16Yeah, well he was obviously on the South Korean side...dunno man, but it's awesome.
- ligyron, on 06/22/2008, -24/+436After 14 months he still hasn't learned a new dance?
- mysticfury, on 06/22/2008, -4/+7Yeah, you think he would pick up some new dance with all the places hes been. :P
- Intamin, on 06/22/2008, -2/+76He danced with all the women in India--that was new.
- mysticfury, on 06/22/2008, -8/+2Yea but you know what he means. :P He basically does the same dance in every other place.
- Shawn4168, on 06/23/2008, -0/+6That's the point.
- Memitim, on 06/23/2008, -0/+5All of them? Damn, that could be a 12 part documentary in and of itself. ;)
- mysticfury, on 06/22/2008, -8/+2Yea but you know what he means. :P He basically does the same dance in every other place.
- YAOMTC, on 06/22/2008, -1/+10Did you see him in India? He totally did. I tell ya, India's the nation of dance. At least IMO.
- MadOgre, on 06/23/2008, -1/+12I've learned that dance and will use it when any music is playing.
- Vodd9, on 06/23/2008, -0/+10Is there any kind of dance more awesome than his?
- Murphman23, on 06/23/2008, -0/+6How doesn't he get tired after dancing for roughly 4 minutes straight!?
- SuperMoses, on 06/23/2008, -0/+9That's the beauty of his dance. He just moves his body because it feels good. Nothing to learn like the dances on those judging shows. Just dance and who gives a *****... just like the kids.
- brotherfranciz, on 06/23/2008, -1/+2Yeah, but I feel sorry for the camera man because he can't even join in...
- Evi1d33d, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1It's called a tripod.
- kingo123, on 06/24/2008, -0/+3Oh come on...everyone recognises him for his dance!!! It's like how you recognise MC Hammer with his shuffle move. :)
- Premier, on 06/22/2008, -3/+38This inspires me. What song is that?

at least for me it is. and probably for any other south korean- son1k, on 06/22/2008, -2/+2I visited it recently.
I never got to see it before the crazy old man though :( - MrStu, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1was that namdaemun? I stayed at the hilton right next to the site, only 3 weeks after the fire. it was a shame not to see it.
I've got loads of picture of the tributes and messages though.

He clearly doesn't give a ***** about your opinions. -an annoyed digger- dullnation, on 06/22/2008, -0/+7IMO, whenever he does kick up a fuss, its for attention. I do find the fact that him and a select few diggers rule the front page, but I've come to realize that they're not going away and ffs, its just digg so I don't really care.
It's a good stance to take...- cl2yp71c, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Yea, but didn't he offer to leave?

- timbond, on 06/24/2008, -0/+0it makes me jealous, too - not so much jealous that he gets to travel the world, but jealous that I've never worked up the nerve. I doubt i'll ever be a real backpack traveler like Matt, but his videos and journal do inspire me to get out of my comfort zone.

- Archon810, on 06/23/2008, -0/+2on that note, wtf was that place in Seattle? What happened to the Needle, the market, the ocean front, etc?
- nfreier, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1That was Gas Works Park, just north of Lake Union and downtown Seattle. Beautiful park - but the ground is slightly toxic.
- dkol97, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1It is also nearby University of Washington!!! I'll be at Gas Works for the 4th of July
- jserio, on 06/22/2008, -0/+7Amazing!
- BlueSkyfish, on 06/22/2008, -34/+7I hate to be "that guy" but that isn't Hi-Def. It isn't even 480p. Its 400x225.
Go ahead and digg me down now. - TrevorPace, on 06/22/2008, -27/+3He should have done a dance from each region.
Or at least learned to dance. - evnglion, on 06/22/2008, -0/+17wow.... what an amazing video. You can't help but smile watching that. And what a lucky guy to have been able to travel to so many places in so little time.
- mephitix, on 06/22/2008, -2/+9Awesome video... I think the next goal should be to get people from different places dancing together (India/Pakistan, Israel/Palestine, etc.). Check out his website too, he's got some outtakes there: http://www.wherethehellismatt.com
- ciaran036, on 06/22/2008, -0/+2What an excellent idea!
- XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, on 06/23/2008, -1/+1no u
- ntropi, on 06/23/2008, -0/+0It would be amazing. Too bad the odds of it happening are slim to none.
- ciaran036, on 06/22/2008, -0/+2What an excellent idea!
- sylvok, on 06/22/2008, -6/+6I missed Matt
- gimmeslack12, on 06/22/2008, -6/+4That was a lot of fun to watch. I had a good laugh while watching.
- jordanleegauci, on 06/22/2008, -7/+2i wonder where he got his dance moves...
- mysticfury, on 06/22/2008, -0/+2he probly just randomly started dancing in one video of somewhere he was, then decided to do that everywhere. lol
- lmbb20, on 06/22/2008, -4/+3Oh wow. To see all those places would be amazing... I'm so jealous. Great job!

- frisk415, on 06/23/2008, -1/+2Word. I always forget that Kyrgyzeks and people from that region look Asian. Matt went to the cuttiest places man. What a sav.
- Ryan166, on 06/22/2008, -23/+4***** Kyrgyzstan.
- Xtopherous, on 06/22/2008, -3/+206This is probably the best video I've ever seen on Digg.
- Phoetality, on 06/23/2008, -1/+4Ditto.
- wayyy, on 06/23/2008, -0/+3It beats that crap from Break.com anyday.
- El-Taco, on 06/22/2008, -2/+18i wanna be able to afford to travel. screw work.
- Fjosnisse, on 06/22/2008, -1/+29Just amazing. I was having doubts about my own trip, alone, to europe .. but now I'm set on it!
- m0tbaillie, on 06/22/2008, -1/+8Why would you be having doubts about a trip alone to Europe? Trust me, having lived in several countries in European and traveled to virtually every one of them, I can tell you that it's a helluva lot safer - for the most part - in Europe than in the US.
I feel more safe walking down the street of Paris, or Bacelona, or Brussels, or Munich, or Stockholm than NYC, Detroit, LA, or St. Louis.- igyigyigy, on 06/22/2008, -1/+5I'd rather NYC than Barcelona, if i were alone anyways :)
- badjoke, on 06/23/2008, -1/+4I got my nuts grabbed by aggressive hookers in Barcelona. Then when I tried to take a picture with a sleeping homeless man in a funny position, a cop stole my camera and threatened to break my teeth with his nightstick.
Agreed.

- IndigoMoss, on 06/22/2008, -0/+4Hell I wouldn't feel safe in Detroit with a Secret Service detail, let alone by myself.
- Tyr7BE, on 06/22/2008, -0/+4He said he was having doubts, not that he was feeling unsafe. Safety != fun!
- wickensworth, on 06/22/2008, -0/+10I'd rather walk through Bagdad with a burning effigy of Allah than walk through certain parts of Detroit
- xjeffx, on 06/22/2008, -0/+5As somebody who has been lost in Detroit and lost in North Africa (no Baghdad but still an odd place to be for a whitey like myself), I can safely say I would vote for ANYWHERE other than Detroit!
- FatLoser, on 06/22/2008, -0/+2If you've ever been to East St. Louis, you're a liar. Nobody makes it out alive.
- MyExSucks, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1oh no, i've been there. my grandparents live about 20 minutes from there in illinois and my grandpa took us to watch fireworks on the 4th of july one year. it was absolutely terrifying. lotsa crazy black people there. they look at you like "mang what the ***** you doin up in the hood"
- roodammy44, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1I notice you didn't say london there.
Yeah, I live here and it's no picnic sometimes.- nads, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Depends whose picnic you steal.
- igyigyigy, on 06/22/2008, -1/+5I'd rather NYC than Barcelona, if i were alone anyways :)
- willynilly, on 06/23/2008, -1/+3The guy didn't say his doubts were because of safety. A far more reasonable worry would be loneliness or getting lost.
- m0tbaillie, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Common sense does not prevail.
- marvy, on 06/23/2008, -0/+4Tell me when you get to Germany. I'll show you where the best beer is :).
- m0tbaillie, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Hah I've been to Germany. Several times. Koeln, Heidelberg, Munchen, Frankfurt, Oberwesel, Dusseldorf, and probably half a dozen other podunk places. I've never had a bad German beer, yet!
