This Armadillo Lizard Really Knows How to Defend Itself

aussiepythons.com — Cordylus cataphractus or the armadillo girdled lizard lives in colonies of up to 40 individuals in South Africa. They are live bearing and the babies are perfect replicas of the adults. They bite on their tail and roll themselves into a ball when threatened. They also hide amongst rock crevices and inflate their bodies so they cant be removed.

      America has become overrun by imported Chinese ladybugs brought to eat aphids damaging fruit and flower crops.

      But when winter comes thousands of them try to get into each and every home to escape the cold. (North American ladybugs do not behave this way...)
