Whoa. Reading the Magician's Nephew After watching The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Jordan decided she wanted to read the books. So we're starting with the first one, the Magician's Nephew (which is actually a prequel, having been written sixth, but we're going chronologically. Baseball Season It's spring, which means Sue and the kids can spend the day outside in the yard, digging in the dirt ... and I can spend the occasional night watching the Mets. DVR means my chances of watching a game have gone up significantly (since the game may start at 7, and I can give the kids a bath, read them a book or two and start watching around 8:30). Gonna be a great summer for baseball. IronPigs AAA Phillies affiliate is now playing in Allentown, and I hope to catch a game or three (at least one with Jordan). http://www.ironpigsbaseball.com/ Also going to Shea Stadium to see a Mets night game on 7/9. It's been 20 years since I was last at Shea; this time I'm getting decent seats, and watching under the lights. It's gonna rule. Might also try and catch a Mets game in Philly, and maybe a Yankees game at Camden Yards; we'll see how that goes. Comments Galore on Nuketown Conversation on Nuketown has really taken off since I opened up commenting to those without accounts. Haven't done per-day tally, but there have easily been 30 comments since I opened things up. Which is probably as many as I saw in the previosu six months on the site. Jordie & Star Wars The Harry Potter vs. Star Wars scariness debate continues on the site.
