Five A.M. returns to warm things up again with their wonderful sound, before the unique duo of Mark Southeron and Hayden Turner, under the name of Tokyo 507 , serve up a blend of smooth vocals, jazzy guitars, laid on top of cool dance beats.
Canadian band Sojourn crank things up with their fresh intimate sound that is melodically complex with the influences of Radiohead, Arcade Fire and Interpol hiding underneath, before Collective Soul return with the latest from their new studio album.
New band The Crash Moderns have landed with a big sound that saw then support such the likes of Bon Jovi, Lifehouse and American Hi-Fi, and have now had time to release a full albums worth of material that calls upon the musical spirit of The Cars, Cheap Trick and Elvis Costello infused with a big jolt of energy.
The Dandy Warhols hits us next with their sound, before the one-woman baby blue dynamo called Chiki returns with a sound that reminds you of so many things but the energy level makes it impossible to shove it into a neatly labelled box without blowing it apart.
Layering feminine vocals singing in Spanish, Portuguese, French and English and a beat that is part Latin, part jazz and a driving bass is the sound of Sweet Electra before New York session player Scott Wozniak, who has performed with such musicians as Pink, Toni Braxton, Blu Cantrell, and many more, teams up his sound with the vocal backing of Angelica Linares.
We then close the workout with the one-two combination of the progressive tech beast 'Devil Chile' from Australian DJ/producer Neon Stereo followed by dance/house music legend Ralphi Rosario who has been making musical magic since the late 70's.
They cranked it up and now they cool us down as Sojourn show their flip side by bottling their energy but not their emotions in this piece of emotional musical expression.
Closing things out is the musical light that is Clair, shining their blend of melodies and music like a beacon in a dark night.
