Let the goals you set be important, meaningful and achievable for both your personal and professional life. Do what you want to do, not what others want you to achieve or accomplish.
Zed+ kicks the warm up off with a slick combination of rock groove served with the silky smoothness that is jazz as we then shift into Got-Ta-Scatta as they take the sound of Beth Hirsch and remix it with there trademark senusual meets sinister sound.
The sound that is Vancouver's Parlour Steps mirrors the environment they live in, reflective and subject to stormy weather, and something which this foursome call 'thought rock' before the Mexicolas serve up a hard-hitting sound of layered guitars and driving drums.
We feature two sides of Italian born Ray Tarantino in this weeks show. First up he shows off a swaggering bit of attitude with a rocking bit of blues that growls and barks at you.
Back again is the young five some out of San Diego called My American Heart with another great track showing off what three years of practise and touring have done to hone and sharpen their sound and creativity.
Sounding like a cross between the beat of an industrial machine meets up with the vocal talent of a woman with an axe to grind agianst it, Ayria serves up her club hit 'Six Seconds', before Dutch based DJ Orlando Voorn and Germanies Guy Krieger shifts things to a gentler side.
Producer Marcel Otte and DJ/Producer Stephan Lohmann joined forces back in 2006 to form Firedance that takes their combined creative inspirations to put a fresh twist on the techno beat that carries on thanks to the works of DJ Hot Hands and Carangelo.
The music of WAZ lives in the now, but is built upon the foundation laid down in his early youth thanks to his parents collection of records by The Pretenders, ELO and Neil Young. His sound has risen above this foundation to stand out on it's own to soar high into the sky.
Cooling things down is Israeli born Yael Naim whose sparse ballads meander between folk and pop, while simple musical arrangements weave amongst her voice.
We close out with our second song from Ray Tarintino that shows the flip side to this artist, and his ability to whisper as loudly as he growls.
