- DBLOCK916, on 11/13/2008, -4/+15Chuck Norris should have ran for President.
- ThirstyJon, on 11/13/2008, -2/+10Chuck Norris doesn't run for President, the President (whilst trembling with awe) reports directly to Chuck Norris, his boss.
- Nyaos, on 11/13/2008, -13/+5His ideas are really the basic role of the president, so he's just asking for Obama to honor them, unlike Bush.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/14/2008, -5/+3Looks like you're getting buried for speaking the truth. I always find it funny when they do that.
- PuterPrsn, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2What "truth"? While I keep reading people talking about all of his "crimes", I've yet to see anyone who can back up any of the accusations.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1That would be courtesy of the executive privilege Bush and Cheney hid behind. Don't worry, truth has a way of reaching the surface eventually.

- eastwood24, on 11/13/2008, -9/+7Wow it took him a while to say really so little.
Summary of what Chuck said:
1. Uphold and recite the constitution.
2. Respect and Protect American lives.
3. Compromise politically/Lead from the center.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/14/2008, -6/+6#2 was 8 sentences of lead-up to get out 2 sentences saying "be pro-life".
Chuck did you listen to a single thing Obama said during the campaign? He's the first president who has taken office during my lifetime who has laid out a clear plan for reducing the number of abortions performed in the country. Every other president has stuck to their guns saying "keep it legal" or "make it illegal", but no one has actually asked the fundamental question, "how can we reduce abortion".
And I've got news for you:making it illegal will not reduce the number of abortions. All that will happen if Roe v. Wade is overturned is the religious folks will be able to congratulate themselves and have a great big holy circle jerk before they shift their attention to abstinence-only sex education.- eastwood24, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2 Consider this credit crisis has put an additional 171 million + people around the world into severe poverty. Literally tens of thousands of are starving daily around the world. I did not read Chuck wanting to send aid to the Congo.
If your goal it to protect life, then how can one support Wars of Aggression that have contributed to the actual death of millions in the middle east over the last five years?
I will never understand pro-lifers, especially when living in a world that has unsustainable population growth. What do you think will happen when too many people are competing for too few resources? Perhaps responsible family planning would save lives in the long-run. Over-population = famine and disease. Wake up to a 21st century perspective of the world around you and stop living in religious fantasy land. - ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/14/2008, -0/+2Agreed, likewise I want to know where all the pro-lifers were when we made the decision to invade Iraq. They can protest an election but they can't protest a war? I got no use for 'em.
- PuterPrsn, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1For those that equate killing the innocent with waging war on a murderous dictator - I have no use for you, either. How you can equate the burning and/or dismembering a human being with fighting and removing a genocidal maniac and his cadre is beyond me. The Kurds and most of the Iraqi civilians are glad he's gone and they finally are getting working electricity, running water, and working sewage systems after 30 years of watching their infrastructure fall apart as new palaces were built, and watching their village disappear in clouds of poison gas in the north.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1Removing cruel dictators is fine, I'm all for it. It's when we enact regime change on the dictator that's sitting on top of ***** ton of oil while we ignore a dozen other ***** who abuse, rape, and murder innocents left and right that I get a little pissed.

- ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/14/2008, -6/+7Buried for the lame ass "0bama." Look guys, when you misspell or do a variant on his name because you don't like the guy, all you do is make yourself look like an ass. I've called out fellow Obama supporters for making "McSame" and "McOld" comments. It's disrespectful and childish.
- cquinnd, on 11/14/2008, -0/+4Agreed. Keep on trying to raise the level of discourse.
- Spuy767, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1Perhaps he simply wants to prevent this article from being located, and subsecuently buried into oblivion, by the troupes of Obama worshippers who prowl digg?
- Spuy767, on 11/15/2008, -0/+1Epic spelling fail!
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 11/16/2008, -1/+2You found us out, we sit around doing google searches all day so we can punce on every signle submission that mentions Obama's name.
Seriously, if your convictions don't stand up to scrutiny from someone who disagrees, why have them in the first place? - Spuy767, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1I'm not the one with a problem defending my views. It's the people who do the burying, and those who try to hide from opposing viewpoints, that have a problem with their ideas withering under the slightest scrutiny. You suggest that the spells Obama's name with a '0' in order to insult Obama. I simply stated that I disagreed, and offered an alternative viewpoint. Now, who got defensive, and who was rational?
- knucklebusted, on 11/14/2008, -4/+7No, they do it to make it harder for the 0bama bury brigade to find it.
- cquinnd, on 11/14/2008, -2/+2You guys are like the software trolls who spell Microsoft as "M$".
- professor357, on 11/14/2008, -0/+5We already know that he only gives lip service to the Second Amendment, as witness his statement that Right To Carry should be prohibited by Federal law. And the entire Democrat party is only giving lip service to the First Amendment, based on their stated intention to muzzle conservatives on the airwaves by a revamped "Fairness" Doctrine.
So is it any wonder that expecting 0bama to take the oath of office, and mean it when it comes to "...preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States...", raises a serious question about the man's veracity. - PuterPrsn, on 11/14/2008, -0/+4Hope he sent this directly to Obama - if not, you can book it that he will be ignored, just like the 50 million voters that didn't vote for him. We will be relegated to non-citizens shortly, with no voice whatsoever. Censorship has already begun.
