- aki009, on 08/05/2008, -2/+10The video link to beating your wife with a toothpick would be funny if these guys weren't serious...
- RHMiller, on 08/05/2008, -2/+5I'm waiting for someone to defend it.
"Hey, it's only a stick the size of a toothpick".

- jcweezy, on 08/05/2008, -2/+9when do we say enough is enough? The evils in the world will not last.
- LoneRanger85, on 08/06/2008, -1/+2The evils in the world will last just as long as there are people too gutless to stand up and fight them.
- Erythroxylum, on 08/05/2008, -3/+8Those Islamic Literalists/Muhammedists brandishing the signs threatening and/or advocating murder and genocide because they, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that somebody has insulted their Arabian Moon Fairy and/or the evil, reprehensible scumbag who dreamed it up, are doing so on British streets. I can't even begin to express who unnerving that makes me feel. I mean, if this was in the so-called Islamic World, it wouldn't particularly give a *****, since I've no intention of ever going there on account of the fact that I've no interest - like most-non-insane people - in seeing what failed, 7th century ***** looks like. But they aren't in the Islamic World, they're here. And the government's multi-culti, right-on approach to combating it not only doesn't allay my fears, but, in fact, severely compounds them.
- passiveconsumer, on 08/05/2008, -2/+3Horrible, to be sure, but what about the numerous other countries around the world which employ such horrible tactics against their citizens? Like our "cozy" friends Saudi Arabia? Or, Pakistan? China anyone? This is surely not isolated to the fanatical, religious zealots in Iran(who prefer to protest with English signs, and use English for their "moral police" uniforms). Lunatics.
- RHMiller, on 08/05/2008, -2/+3Actually, to be fair, the pic of the protesters is from London.
Which scares me and incidentally shows the double standard even more.
Imagine holding signs in Iran claiming that anyone who threatens Christianity should be beheaded and exterminated? Or that the future belongs to Scientology? - LoneRanger85, on 08/06/2008, -2/+1Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are friends of opportunity. We also had to partner up with Stalin to beat Hitler.
- RHMiller, on 08/05/2008, -2/+3Actually, to be fair, the pic of the protesters is from London.
- TheHomeOffice, on 08/08/2008, -3/+5It is evidence like this and tons of firsthand experience that makes me beam with pride of my combat service in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Every time I hear some smelly know it all liberal who has never been to the middle east nor has read the koran whine about supposed "innocent civilians" it reminds me of people like this. It reminds me of "civilians walking around the streets going after other muslims with ak-74's etc. Yup real civilian like and real innocent like too. Kind of makes me think that the idiots who make the "everyone that dies in the middle east are innocent civilians" are just some of the most uninformed people on the face of the planet.
- jabberwolf, on 08/05/2008, -2/+7And sadly not all Muslims are like this
BUT in saying that, it seems most Muslims are in defense, or at best, look the other way and exclaim "oh those arent muslims then"
Sorry but they are, its a problem, and we are dealing with it when you should be as well. Stop bashing the USA and west and deal with your crazies.
But then it might stem from the actual Quran which, yes if READ (which most Muslims recite like a song but never actually read), it shows why this has come about.
Not sure what to do, but make it public, make it clear, and make people think about it.- RHMiller, on 08/05/2008, -3/+5Sadly, on issues like these, the silence form the "moderate Muslim world" is deafening.
- LoneRanger85, on 08/06/2008, -3/+3There are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. If just ONE percent of them are pro-violence, that's 15 MILLION potential terrorists. And, according to all the surveys that have been done, a truer figure is 9 percent. That's just in Western countries.
