"We have a government that is utterly spendthrift, yet which still calls itself conservative. This is a party that bears no relationship to the Republican Party of ages past." - Robjayne, on 09/05/2008, -1/+9Barr has my vote, my wife is undecided now that Congressman Paul is out. In Illinois a write-in will not be counted for anyone who was in the primary. The media touted candidates do not want compition, they are not that confidant in their message having to satisfy the 20-30% of thier brain dead party sheep.

www.bobbarr2008.com - Diggobamanation, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3If you are polled about the upcoming election, please vote for Bob Barr just so he can be included in the debates it's only fair!
- muckemuck, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1If the Democrats realized how much damage it would do to McCain then they would push like crazy to get Barr into the debates... but.. well.. we're stuck with two parties and people will continue voting for "lesser of two evils".
and most folks don't know that in order to get into the Presidential debates a third party candidate has to poll at 15%. And how are they supposed to get those kind of polling numbers when they can't get on TV? Buy ads? But.. how when they can't get donations because nobody knows about them? .. oh, they have to be a billionaire like Ross Perot! .. and who made up that impossible rule? Why representatives from the two parties.
