- loungecreature, on 10/13/2008, -0/+3Indeed. Greenwald discussed in another post journalists' odd attraction to another failure, Karl Rove. Why do people who have been proven wrong and remain unrepentant still get valuable print space and broadcast time? A cursory review of this week's newsmagazines and TV news includes the views of Fareed Zakharia, Karl Rove, Francis Fukuyama (remember The End of History?), and of course, Tom Friedman. They, along with Rove, were dead wrong on the key debates of the decade, and yet they still get tremendous play--and money. Is there no one else to talk to? How about giving someone else a chance?
- cowboytrumpet, on 10/13/2008, -0/+1That is hilarious. He encouraged Palin to attack and now he's telling them they were stupid. Nice. What has Kristol done in his life to deserve a podium to speak from? His parents are well-known for a reason: they are smart.
- Baconbuyer, on 10/13/2008, -0/+2How happy is Kristol that Mark Halperin exists? Without Halperin, everyone would recognize him as the worst pundit of all time. Halperin gives him very tough competition, though.
- yellowcakewalk, on 10/14/2008, -0/+1Kristol gives douchebags a bad name.
- LouiseCalabro, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1"That's typical Bill Kristol -- not only chronically wrong about everything, but far worse, completely incapable of acknowledging mistakes. He just suppresses them, pretends they don't exist, and in that regard is the perfect face for the right-wing movement that is dying a painful, harsh and profoundly well-deserved death in front of everyone's eyes." -- Glen Greenwald
- mnoe, on 10/20/2008, -0/+1Bill Kristol's spectacular douchebaggery in that video clip is outweighed only by the imbecility of Chris Wallace, who praises Kristol for "such pure reason" when Kristol calls his own advice stupid and incompetent.
Wallace: "What can I say Bill? You've said it all..."
