- dtmbcorp, on 10/06/2008, -2/+3Who has more to lose if they are wrong?
- JATCA69, on 10/06/2008, -1/+7We have the most to lose if we continue to have this media blackout on the subject. Everyone seems to have pre-conceived notions on the subject, most lack a substantive understanding of what really happened that day. The most important thing is that unanswered questions start to receive the respect they deserve and are not dismissed as "wacko conspiracy theory nut job...blah, blah, blah". First and foremost, the science must be reconciled and then the abnormalities of government procedure. Let's start there and see where it leads us.
- JATCA69, on 10/06/2008, -2/+10Finally a debate with substance. Whatever you believe, this is a good read and worth the time. This is a debate that we must have. This issue continues to affect us everyday and is the basis of our foreign and domestic policies. PLEASE READ,DIGG and SHARE!!!
- jericho4119, on 10/06/2008, -7/+2A journalist versus a professor. Honestly - neither of them has the background to assess the impact of a jetliner on a building. I would look for a good ME and someone with experience analyzing plane crashes for the DOT.
I was educated as an EE and I took a few ME courses - mandated, of course and I hated them - but from what I recall of Thermodynamics and a Discovery Channel or Science Channel review of the planes that hit the WTC - I was convinced those two buildings were hit by the reported planes.
So that leaves the Pentagon. The pilot testimony which says that an amateur could not have made that turn is compelling - but why introduce a different method of dealing with passengers from that plane than was used on the other three? Who creates a plan that has four planes leaving on the same day with the same number of hijackers and then does something different with one of those planes? That would introduce another layer of risk to an already risky plan.
Perhaps I was just turned off by the professor, as I felt his answers were unnecessarily indirect and long-winded. I get suspicious of answers that proceed across several pages, as I suspect that I am being snowed. I have a preference for questions to be answered at the front of a long passage - due to years of producing summaries for my documents. - criticalmaster, on 10/07/2008, -1/+0Whew -- detailed, yet disturbing. For those who want to read some of the strongest arguments against the "911 Truth Movement" -- you will see how thin they really are.
- TruthinessHurts, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Taibbi got his ass handed to him. That doesn't necessarily make Griffin right, but it's an embarrassing show from Taibbi.
- stone42, on 10/08/2008, -0/+3i just read through all 3 parts of this piece and David Ray Griffin absolutely made this guy look a complete idiot (although Taibbi makes himself out to be such) , all of his responses were necessary (in their length) and it was superb . if that is the best that could be done to try and put down the evidence that there is for these events then i am more optimistic than ever !
