Buried as more crap from think progress.- mightydavefish, on 11/10/2007, -14/+16Well if we are talking crap it we can't do it without mentioning appleann1.
Since this was very well debunked over the last couple years the only ones buying now are the right wing asshats too dumb to remember last year.- appleann1, on 11/10/2007, -14/+11Hi Dave, wouldn't be the same without you weighing in. Please provide a link for those well debunked claims of yours. While I'm waiting you might want to read this.

- shawnfassett, on 11/10/2007, -15/+18appleann1 is crap. apparently facts are scary for conservatives. if they learned santa claus was a myth they'd pee their panties. grow up. fairy tales are for children (this includes God)
- appleann1, on 11/10/2007, -15/+12A resident atheist weighs in, what a surprise. I'll bet dave's on your friends list.
- VIrus9, on 11/10/2007, -2/+9As if being conservative automatically makes someone part of the "Religious Right". That's certainly news to me, as I'm sure it would be to other secular conservatives.
- mikesbaker, on 11/10/2007, -5/+2and yet you don't know where the reply button is
- Calann, on 11/14/2007, -8/+22What cracked me up last year about O'Reilly's trumped-up war on Christmas rants was when it was pointed out that his own website offered "Holiday gifts" instead of "Christmas gifts". O'Reilly is such a huge hypocrite that it's amazing anyone still believes his nonsense.
- Glynth, on 11/20/2007, -1/+2... Because offering gifts on a store for people that purchase for Christmas or Hannakah or WHATEVER is the same as the sorts of things he talks about on his program? THAT'S your great example of O'Reilly's hypocrisy? Go back to junior high - you need some book learnin' 'bout somethin' we peoples call "logic."
- hawkeye17, on 11/10/2007, -8/+15I swear to God one day O'Reilly will pull a Woody Hayes and punch a guest or something on TV lol. The guy's totally lost his grip on reality.
- mtshasta, on 11/10/2007, -4/+4Speaking of Woody----------Go Buckeyes #1
- PistolSO, on 11/14/2007, -8/+12Ho, Ho, Ho...Christmas has come early.. Bill-O's rants bring laughter throughout the land.
- appleann1, on 11/14/2007, -12/+7I'll bet you're an Olby fan. Tell me, what has he done for abused kids?
- PistolSO, on 11/10/2007, -4/+10He helped cancel Bill-O from speaking at a missing kids forum after Bill-O said some inappriopriate victim-blaming statemens about Shawn Hornbeck...
- appleann1, on 11/10/2007, -7/+4WOW! Keeping someone from speaking at a MISSING KIDS FORUM is really supportig missing kids. Love your logic.
- kurttrail, on 11/10/2007, -1/+3Keeping a known pervert from speaking at a MISSING KIDS FORUM is really supporting missing kids.
There I fixed it for you.

- ShinRaTDR, on 11/10/2007, -3/+5I hope he uses a year-old Daily Show clip again, that was priceless. I guess people weren't hating america enough that day, so they had to pull some america hate from their archives.
- appleann1, on 11/14/2007, -12/+7I'll bet you're an Olby fan. Tell me, what has he done for abused kids?
- boner79, on 11/10/2007, -8/+17Jesus Christ, this again?!?!? I'm tired of hearing about the plight of Christians in this country. You would think we're still crucifying them and feeding them to lions for amusement. They conveniently overlook the fact that they are in control the the most powerful country on earth with the mightiest, and need I say overwhelmingly Christian, army in the world. Get over yourselves!!!
- reallydigginit, on 11/10/2007, -6/+14I remember reading about O'Reilly bragging to Andrea Mackris about how much he enjoys using a vibrator on himself (read: jamming it up his ass— hey, he's a Republican after all). That it is "shaped like a ***** with a little battery in it." (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013043mackri ...
I wonder if for the holidays he jams a Christmas tree up his ass? You know, a little one "with a battery in it."- mablco, on 11/10/2007, -1/+2mmmmm falafel loufas
- pintomp3, on 11/10/2007, -4/+9oh poor christians. they changed the wording to make it more inclusive to people of different faiths. what next, they will feed christians to the lions?
i'm still not sure what pine trees and candy canes have to do with jesus's birth anyway, didn't he live in the middle east? was he even born during that time of the year?- facelesscoward, on 11/14/2007, -4/+10Thank you. I'm really sick of Christians pretending to be persecuted in America. This is the same country where atheists are the least trusted group of people ( http://www.mndaily.com/articles/2006/03/24/67686 ).
But, yes, Christians are persecuted. The big evil Judeo-Christian American society is out to get itself.
- facelesscoward, on 11/14/2007, -4/+10Thank you. I'm really sick of Christians pretending to be persecuted in America. This is the same country where atheists are the least trusted group of people ( http://www.mndaily.com/articles/2006/03/24/67686 ).
- internetcoward, on 11/10/2007, -8/+4Dont make articles about it or put it on digg, your encouraging it by doing so. Hating Oreilly is also supporting him, just ignore him. He will eventually go away.
- appleann1, on 11/10/2007, -8/+5How else would they get their stories on the front page?
- internetcoward, on 11/12/2007, -5/+3exactly, its seems that people psuedo hate bill oreilly, they want him around just to hate, even though they give him press...
- kurttrail, on 11/12/2007, -3/+4Naw, I want idiots like him around for the humor they provide.
Rightards are funny to laugh at.- appleann1, on 11/12/2007, -2/+2"Rightards"?.........Is that you dave?
- kurttrail, on 11/12/2007, -3/+4Naw, I want idiots like him around for the humor they provide.
- internetcoward, on 11/12/2007, -5/+3exactly, its seems that people psuedo hate bill oreilly, they want him around just to hate, even though they give him press...
- jackgivens, on 11/12/2007, -3/+5You must have your eyes closed or have been born yesterday to not see that there is a real (not perceived) effort to remove Christmas from the "Holidays". If you are not a Christian you can support such activities but it is intellectually dishonest to not recognize there is real effort to change the nature of Christmas.
- appleann1, on 11/10/2007, -8/+5How else would they get their stories on the front page?
- mikesbaker, on 11/12/2007, -10/+7you know its getting to be Christmas time on digg when most of the atheists on digg say 'there is no war on Christmas' and 'Christmas is a load of crap and should go away' at the same time - oh and replace the speech on digg regarding Christians with Jews and every one would be saying 'thats clearly hate speech not cool'
- kurttrail, on 11/12/2007, -3/+3Christmas is a pagan holiday. Christians stole it, and that started the war, but us pagans are in it FTW!
Boo!
- kurttrail, on 11/12/2007, -3/+3Christmas is a pagan holiday. Christians stole it, and that started the war, but us pagans are in it FTW!
- macweirdo42, on 11/12/2007, -3/+9That's it, I'm declaring a war on this goddamn victim culture. My God, we've become a nation of crybabies, playing the victim card every time we're unhappy because life isn't fair. It's sickening the way people like Mr. O'Reilly here are leading the charge (but funny, too, whenever they get upset when someone else plays the victim card). Grow a spine, America!
- internetcoward, on 11/12/2007, -3/+2So does everyone pseudo hate bill oreilly enough to hate him... but give him press? So lame, if you digg this then you are for oreilly essentially.
- toxicityj, on 11/10/2007, -1/+4I've never really understood why people get pissed off at the Happy Holidays thing. I'm a Christian and at church people flip out about it. But it makes no sense. Because its not like Christmas is the only "Christmas-time" holiday. Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are all going on at the same time, so it only makes sense to coin a term that include all religious holidays (not that christmas is really a religious holiday anymore).
I think a lot of christians like to blow ***** out of proportion. You do anything that they don't like and BAM! you're trying to get rid of God.- jj101, on 11/12/2007, -1/+3I agree. I guess its possible that somewhere in the universe, Douglas Adams style, this is insulting. Here on earth though someone wishing you "happy holidays" can only be good, right? Next people will get pissy about someone saying "have a good weekend".
- mathmanjeffy, on 11/10/2007, -0/+1"More importantly, O’Reilly is behind in his outrage. Last year, he launched his “First Salvo in 2006 War Over Christmas” nearly two weeks earlier on October 27, complaining to former Sen. John Danforth (R-MO) about “lawsuits all over the country by the ACLU, objecting to Christmas carols, Christmas displays.”"
Way to read your own article, submitter. - Arcesius, on 11/14/2007, -1/+2Where's that one picture on the truth about Christmas that was on here a couple months ago? That was classic =P
Christmas sucks, though - hypocritical Christian holiday. I'm celebrating solstice, dammit =). - nblsavage, on 11/14/2007, -3/+3I condemn the Christians for their war against Yule, Saturnalia and Natalis Solis Invicti. All the winter festivals that the Christians co-opted for their own nefarious purposes.
- kurttrail, on 11/12/2007, -5/+2Happy *****' Holidays, *****!
- appleann1, on 11/12/2007, -1/+2Real class act you got there.
- Glynth, on 11/20/2007, -2/+2Wow, a lot of anti-Christian bigots in this thread. Shall I count how many people said Christians are evil? "Stole" holidays for evil reasons? Etcetera etcetera? All this alongside the mantra "Christians aren't persecuted!!!!11!" Pathetic, blind, hate-spewing bigots. That's not an insult. That's what many of you are.
