It is legitimate ONLY in your sick, negative, and psychotic neo-con worlds.
Get over it. - Dreamzville, on 10/12/2008, -10/+11This smear has been gaining popularity lately as people look for explanations for our economic crisis -- and smear artists looking to destroy Barack see an opening. Every word of it is dishonest and manipulative.
Smears like this are part of a broader, shadowy strategy to scare people who aren't very familiar with Barack by spreading false information.
Here are the facts:
· Barack Obama was never an ACORN community organizer.
· Barack was never an ACORN trainer and was never an employee of ACORN.
· ACORN was not part of Project Vote, the successful voter registration drive Barack led in 1992.
· As an attorney, Barack worked with the U.S. Department of Justice to represent ACORN and other voter's rights groups in a lawsuit to enforce the widely praised federal Motor Voter Law in Illinois.
The Huffington Post has laid out the evidence showing the truth about Barack, ACORN, and these smears. See: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/05/smears-co ... and http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/03/obama-cam ...
There's no way to stop these dangerous, misleading articles and emails one-by-one, but together we can take the political process back from the cynical politics of deception. We can all start by spreading the truth about Barack Obama.
Save this post and send it to anyone who you know who may have read the ACORN smear, then head to Fight The Smears to get details about more smears and see what else you can do:

Here are a few facts about Barack Obama that people might be interested to learn:
* Barack Obama is working for middle class Americans. The Obama-Biden tax plan includes a tax cut of $1,000 for more than 150 million working Americans. The plan will also eliminate income taxes altogether for more than 7 million senior citizens who make less than $50,000 per year. Finally, Obama's plan will provide an average of $500 to 10 million homeowners, the majority of whom earn less than $50,000 per year. Learn more about the Obama-Biden tax plan: http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/#tax-rel ... http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/publications/url.cf ...
* Barack Obama knows that the problems we're facing in this election are too serious to let the politics of manufactured controversy and fake outrage dominate. He wants to bring our troops home from Iraq, so we can focus on Afghanistan and track down the terrorists who attacked us. And he's proposed a detailed plan for using alternative energy sources to relieve America's dependence on foreign oil within 10 years and put millions of Americans to work. See more about Obama's plan for change here: See Barack's detailed plan for America: http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/planforchan ...
* After being raised by a single mother and by his grandparents in a modest household, Barack studied hard and won scholarships and loans to attend Columbia University and later Harvard Law School, where he became president of the Harvard Law Review. After law school, he returned to Chicago, where he helped disadvantaged citizens work for better jobs and better schools. Barack later went on to teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago, helping to educate the community leaders of tomorrow. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- gobber, on 10/12/2008, -5/+8Right! The Huffington Post, the voice of truth and reason. The same place where any and all wild exaggerations regarding Palin have so far been proven false. Please do everyone here a favor, if you are going to defend the messiah, use some sort of independent sources (as hard as that can be) outside of huffington in Obama's left pocket and his own web site.
- EatingPaste, on 10/12/2008, -2/+6gobber I wish I could digg you twice
- these3remain, on 10/20/2008, -0/+1@dreamzville - As soon as you began citing Huffpo as your sources , your credibility tanked. Huffpo is simply the propaganda arm of the Obamination campaign; might as well refer me to Obama's website. Why not do some research instead of simply swallowing and regurgitating everything the Obamessiah says. The man suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder and you are a prime example of how his demagoguery, just like Hitler, has allowed someone like this to possibly become elected. You should change your user id to something more apropo - like nightmareville - that's what our country has to look forward to under an Uh-bama presidency and supermajority congress with no checks and balances.
- lreznick, on 10/12/2008, -2/+2It would be if it were discovered that Obama's campaign had anything to do with it. Just because Obama used to work for an organization that is now part of ACORN but wasn't at the time he worked with Project Vote does not make Obama responsible for this.
- moomza, on 10/11/2008, -19/+15Usually when people feel the need to qualify something by saying "It's a legitimate issue", then it's not a legitimate issue.
- mundy1776, on 10/11/2008, -43/+51Nice! ACORN is a big deal...
- Dreamzville, on 10/12/2008, -8/+9No, it's not, what these neo-cons are spewing is just made-up desperate garbage.
- Wakkyweed, on 10/12/2008, -5/+9Wake up. Nobody gives a flying ***** about ACORN except for a few desperate Rightards desperately clinging to a vain hope of winning this election.
- BungaloBill, on 10/12/2008, -3/+2The forums and blogs on Obama's site are free, open, and easy to join. There isn't even a captcha. These aren't Obama supporters that are deserting, these are PUMAblicans who have no intentions of supporting Obama in the first place. It's a ruse designed to make it so bloggers can go "hey look, even Obama supporters are worred about him!"
In short, it's complete *****. And it just goes to show how little real support McCain has. If all you can blog about is some made up worries about a made up issue in this election, then you and your candidate are royally *****.
- AugustusOsari, on 10/11/2008, -44/+40Fact: ACORN has implemented the most sophisticated quality-control system in the voter engagement field but in almost every state we are required to turn in ALL completed applications, even the ones we know to be problematic.
Fact: ACORN flags in writing incomplete, problem, or suspicious cards when we turn them in,. Unfortunately, some of these same officials then come back weeks or months later and accuse us of deliberately turning in phony cards. In many cases, we can actually prove that these are the same cards we called to their attention.
Fact: Our canvassers are paid by the hour, not by the card . ACORN has a zero-tolerance policy for deliberately falsifying registrations, and in the cases where our internal quality controls have identified this happening we have fired the workers involved and turned them in to election officials and law-enforcement.
Fact: No criminal charges related to voter registration have ever been brought against ACORN or partner organizations. Convictions against individual former ACORN workers have been accomplished with our full cooperation, using the evidence obtained through our quality control and verification processes — evidence which in most cases WE called to the attention of authorities
Fact: Most election officials have recognized ACORN’s good work and praised our quality control systems. Even in the cities where election officials have complained about ACORN, the applications in question represent less than 1% of the thousands and thousands of registrations ACORN has collected.
Fact: Our accusers not only fail to provide any evidence, they fail to suggest a motive: there is virtually no chance anyone would be able to vote fraudulently, so there is no reason to deliberately submit phony registrations. ACORN is committed to ensuring that the greatest possible numbers of people are registered- akchrs, on 10/11/2008, -16/+33you're kidding right?

- ThinkOutTheBox, on 10/11/2008, -37/+50It is too late for Obama. If he throws ACORN under the bus he is throwing away a lot of votes if he doesn't throw ACORN under the bus then he is throwing away a lot of votes. He can try to distance himself from ACORN, but there is to much information already linking him to ACORN.
- hopscotchjumper, on 10/11/2008, -10/+35Maybe this is why ACORN was pushing for early voting, so that the fraudulent votes would get counted, and could not be challenged in Ohiol.
- Dreamzville, on 10/12/2008, -8/+5That would be too convenient for your sick negativity, wouldn't it??!
Only thing is, it's not true.
McCain is losing, Palin is one step away from being impeached.
And you can't handle the truth!!! - DEIx15x8, on 10/12/2008, -1/+4Bingo, that is why the Republicans tried to stop the ability to register and vote on the same day calling it unconstitutional since it allows for too many loop holes and voter fraud. Yet the democrats just yelled at them saying that they were trying to rig the election. Then the Obama camp started buying votes by picking up homeless people to register and vote in one day.

It must be agonizing for you.- ThinkOutTheBox, on 10/11/2008, -9/+23Obama is going to lose in November. Watch this is just the start of down hill slide. This story is not going away anytime soon there is lots of documented evidence linking Obama to ACORN so anything he says dismissing his relationship with ACORN will be a lie. Which ultimately will hurt his credibility and damage his campaign platform of "change."
Despite what you want to believe this is just getting started and with ACORN already have been investigated for voter fraud and several members already convicted of voter fraud this could lead to RICO charges against ACORN.
Keep you head buried in the sand, but if you didn't like the past eight years under a Bush administration then you will absolutely despise an Obama administration even more so than you will a McCain administration.

- badqat, on 10/11/2008, -10/+21Uh, just a guess, but I'm thinking that's exactly what moomza is looking for. Full government control of her life.
- DEIx15x8, on 10/12/2008, -0/+7Don't say that badqat, It's not her fault she failed at life and needs government handout to survive. If the government had been carrying her all along she wouldn't be in such bad shape. See, it's the government's fault not hers. Damn you Bush, Clinton, and all you other presidents. But not you 8% approval rating Democratic Congress you can't do anything wrong.
- ozel01, on 10/11/2008, -9/+26That would be all well and good, except, as I saw on the news a couple hours ago, experts in the field are beginning to see the break in the independent vote. And unfortunately for you, they are beginning to break for McCain. Couple that with the weakening in faith Obama has in the face of the ACORN issue and it appears his ship is starting to take on serious water.
- Wakkyweed, on 10/12/2008, -7/+9Let me guess, you saw that on Fox news? Try something far more accurate, like a prediction market. They are all predicting landslide wins for Obama.
- ozel01, on 10/12/2008, -3/+5Since I have yet to see anyone with a crystal ball manage to predict anything accurately, I'll go with what the boots on the ground are finding out. But, Zogby has the race at a statistical tie, still. They did in the last two presidential races as well and both were down to the wire. I don't see this one being any different in the end.
- Wakkyweed, on 10/12/2008, -2/+2Ozel, your "boots on the ground" polls are commonly distorted by clever framing of questions. Prediction markets have been proven to be far more accurate than any poll because they rely on the "wisdom of crowds" approach. The people who are betting actual money on the outcome have far more at stake than some random person on the street, and the way they bet gives a much clearer picture of the real mood in an election.
Click below to see what people who are betting real money are saying about the election. It looks extremely bad for McCain right now.

- btschul, on 10/12/2008, -1/+6So in your ignorant little mind, someone who doesn't like Obama MUST be a "McBushBot"? Go to wikipedia and type in "Third Party". Or, if that's above your comprehension level, just go to the bottom of this page and click on "Digg the candidates".
- moomza, on 10/12/2008, -4/+2I'd vote Paul if the Republiturds had the balls and the brains to elevate a true candidate of change. A true conservative. Obama is our best path at the moment, without wasting your vote. It's time you switched over.
As far as my "Ignorant little mind" ... most of the clowns in these right wing circle jerks on Digg voted for Bush twice. McBushBot is a beautifully accurate term for them.
It's going to take at least 8 years for the Republican party to reinvent itself. - TheNWO, on 10/12/2008, -2/+4That says a lot about you, moo. The only people who vote for Ron Paul are either insane or just plain stupid.
- moomza, on 10/13/2008, -2/+2Stupid no, overly idealistic maybe. More likely, they are constitutional purists that see this sacred document as being the one thing that makes (made) our nation the greatest on Earth.
I'll vote for the next best in line, and that certainly isn't McBush. - TheNWO, on 10/13/2008, -1/+4Why would a constitutional purist vote for Ron Paul? Again, you being a Ronbot (let's dismantle the entire government!) and then supporting Barack "Don't ask what you can do for your country, ask what your government can do for you" Obama about as idiotic as it gets.
- moomza, on 10/13/2008, -1/+2"Why would a constitutional purist vote for Ron Paul?" Wow .. you are pretty clueless.
Anyways, if I was a ronbot then I'd write Dr. Paul in on my ballot. The next best thing is to vote for Obama, because there will always be government meddling, and Obama is at least a slim shot at making government work a tad better. McCain would only be guaranteed and continued chaos. You somehow think a McCain administration would meddle in our affairs and control government less? The meddling is the same, it's just shaped a little differently. - TheNWO, on 10/13/2008, -2/+2http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_the_People_Act
Ron Paul is a racist theocrat who plays lipservice to the small government crowd but who is better than average at bringing pork home to his district. How else do you think a Congressman with no legislative accomplishments can be reelected time and time again? Ron Paul also panders to paranoid conspiracy theorists and "white nationalists".
This is a man who wants to bring back the gold standard, who wants to dismantle just about every single government agency, wants to pull out of every trade treaty, wants to close down every military base on foreign soil. He has a mountain of proposals and not a single reasonable explanation for how he would get Congress to go along with him or what the economic and geopolitical consequences of his proposals would be.
He read "The Road to Serfdom" and then a few Ayn Rand and Mises books and thinks that he's an expert on economics. He is the worst kind of idiot, the one who read up on a subject and decided that he was so interested in that topic that he would read more about it -- only more from those who agree with him. He never challenges his own beliefs.
I'm not even going to get into how much of an idiot your opinions about McCain and Obama are, moo.

It appears as though Obama is very skilled at training workers to committ voter fraud, while he then stands to one aside condemning it. This is the way of Marx, Lenin, Mao, [L]ong Ill, and a host of other dictators.
While the writing appears on the wall, McCain, and his Republican Party have thrown the election, there might just be a little hope in the going down.
Quit every attempt to advertise. Take every million dollar spared, and raise up lawyers, not just hundreds of them, but even thousands of them, and send them to Hawaii, to Indonesia and to Chicago. Look for every shady deal that Obama made, dollars received and spent; every minute in school, college and university; his New Party dealings, travel to Pakistan; who financed his education? He has now admitted against his own lies of not knowing Ayers, that he thought Ayers had been rehabilitated. We can catch him admitting to other things he has lied about. I've been telling people for more than a year, that Barack Obama might be the first President who will commit suicide. His suicide tendencies tend to make himself his own worst enemy. The only reason he has survived so far, has been McCain's incompentency. But! McCain can still redeem himself.
Let McCain do what Americans do so well, take Obma to one court hearing after another. I know that it is a forgone conclusion that the Black Robed Vultures will side with Barack Obama. But at least, McCain would have gone down in a smashed up political plane, and somehow, against all odds, survived again.- Dreamzville, on 10/12/2008, -8/+9You people are sick and horrible.

Fact: ACORN has implemented the most sophisticated quality-control system in the voter engagement field but in almost every state we are required to turn in ALL completed applications, even the ones we know to be problematic.
ACORN is committed to ensuring that the greatest possible numbers of people are registered - dd12101, on 10/12/2008, -9/+19Even good American democrats(not the screaming fringe) have comon sense and will not abide deceit.

This smear has been gaining popularity lately as people look for explanations for our economic crisis -- and smear artists looking to destroy Barack see an opening.

Socialism is not the American Dream that I came to this country for 25 yrs ago. - these3remain, on 10/20/2008, -0/+1"I HAVE TRUTH, LOGIC, and COMPASSION ON **MY** SIDE." Really? I have yet to see any of those qualities demonstrated by you. I've read lies, irrational ranting and name calling that is not anyone's idea of "compassion" - at least anyone that possesses critical thinking skills. It really makes my undecided vote lean toward McCain reading your wildly irrational , delusional posts.
- skmckinny, on 10/12/2008, -6/+5Crazy!!
- angryredplanet, on 10/12/2008, -5/+6I'm not American and I read your comment. It wasn't upsetting for me more that it was full of baseless finger pointing with no evidence of anything. Let me briefly summarise what I took away:
You went to the extreme suggesting that Obama's campaign methods are on par with some of the worlds most ruthless dictators. You said that Obama's life be screened for other lies while on the campaign trail, while conveniently forgetting that all politicians lie. You suggested that, under such scrutiny, Obama could potentially be the first high profile political suicide. You also juxtaposed that in the same situation, McCain would "have gone down in a smashed up political plane, and somehow, against all odds, survived again".
I loved that last line, you did McCain a service painting him as a real military hero. The thing is, America doesn't really need a military hero right now. It needs compassion. It needs to look after it's own AT HOME before looking to fix the world's perceived problems. Being stewards of peace and justice, America shouldn't be threatening Russia, China or any other other country with war. Violence breeds violence and the threat of violence escalates the threat of violence... it's a one way street. Starting another series of wars will bankrupt America (if the financial crisis hasn't already), and the costs of decisions now will be felt by Americans for generations.
If you want a prosperous America, then I urge you to think carefully and critically before you vote.- ThinkOutTheBox, on 10/12/2008, -1/+3See that is the thing Obama wants to give .7 percent of our GDP to Global Poverty, he wants to tax the rich, which in his mind starts at 250K. His new line is that he will give his tax cuts for the middle class while holding off on his tax cuts for the rich if we are in a recession in January. Taxing the rich excessively does not increase revenue for the government. He wants to increase taxes on the rich because it is "fair." He wants to increase capital gains tax to almost 40%. I could go on but I wont, Obama is not looking out for our best interest.

Oh , I forgot there isn't any to be found anywhere in this universe !
- heystoopid, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2So where are all the ethical McCain supporters ?
- MGow, on 10/12/2008, -11/+21Discredited Republican voter-suppression guru Ken Blackwell is attacking Barack Obama with naked lies about his supposed connection to ACORN.
• Fact: Barack was never an ACORN community organizer.
• Fact: ACORN never hired Obama as a trainer, organizer, or any type of employee.
• Fact: ACORN was not part of Project Vote, the successful voter registration drive Barack ran in 1992.
In his capacity as an attorney, Barack represented ACORN in a successful lawsuit alongside the U.S. Department of Justice against the state of Illinois to force state compliance with a federal voting access law. For his work helping enforce the law, called “Motor Voter,” Barack received the IVI-IPO Legal Eagle Award in 1995. (For more about Barack’s career, check out our Obama bio.)
Ken Blackwell is best known today for disenfranchising Democratic voters in his dual role as Ohio Secretary of State and chair of George Bush’s Ohio campaign in 2004. To see him shed crocodile tears for the integrity of the vote while making accusations about Barack and ACORN with absolutely no basis in fact is disturbing.
Blackwell’s attacks against ACORN and community organizers continue a vile Republican pattern of mockery and viciousness against this noble profession. Community organizers are the very individuals Republicans should be celebrating for helping people to help themselves rather than depending on the government.- ivanvivian, on 10/12/2008, -6/+3You're totally delusional. You're not in the real world. The evidence mounts against you by the minute.
- InRussetShadows, on 10/12/2008, -2/+2"Community organizer" is a noble profession? Hahahahahaha. Oh man, that's the best one I've heard all day. Community organizers do not help people help themselves. These people agitate for government freebies.
- Wakkyweed, on 10/12/2008, -11/+21Oh noes! Obama is vaguely associated with a group that no one cares about! Quick, all of us Democrats, lets forget about Palin's massive corruption and McCain's feeble policies and abandon Obama!
Give it up, you drooling right wing retards. You've lost this election already and don't even know it.- InRussetShadows, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3Massive corruption? Which would be "abuse of power", in dismissing an employee that serves "at the pleasure of" the governor. Uhm, that's illogical. What the committee found was not "massive" by any stretch of the imagination.
No-one cares about? Ask the voters in Washington state, and several others, where Acorn has been monkeying around with the vote. And if no-one cared, does that make what they are doing somehow less wrong? Why won't you condemn voter fraud? Is stuffing the ballot box acceptable to you?
- InRussetShadows, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3Massive corruption? Which would be "abuse of power", in dismissing an employee that serves "at the pleasure of" the governor. Uhm, that's illogical. What the committee found was not "massive" by any stretch of the imagination.
- rewinn, on 10/12/2008, -12/+21How many more dead American troops in Iraq if McCain gets in?
THAT should be something y'all be thinking of. The ACORN "scandal" is a hoax and a distraction.- InRussetShadows, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4It is not a hoax, at least according to the district attorneys of several states. But I forgot. They must be in on it, too, right?
- these3remain, on 10/20/2008, -0/+3"How many more dead American troops in Iraq if McCain gets in?" Same as BO since he has already abandoned yet another position since his campaign began. Just one of many, many positions he has found untenable and has had to flip-flop on. He's even considering off-shore drilling. He will say whatever it takes to get elected. The correct question is "How many more dead American babies if Uh-bama gets in?"
- kedohmen, on 10/12/2008, -10/+18Does the Right really want to bring up voter fraud? Caging? Or re-drawing political maps so they can win elections? Come on. We all know vote fraud and repression is a neo-Con thing.
Also, I saw earlier in the day ACORN has never been convicted of voter fraud or any of the sort, they've just had multiple registrants from the same people. And when you're black and getting misleading letters in the mail saying you aren't registered, I don't blame them for registering again.
Digg me down McCainiacs! I'm just surprised that there are some of you young enough to use the computer, the internet, and know what digg is!?!- BungaloBill, on 10/12/2008, -1/+4Vote fraud = very difficult and extremely rare.
Voter registration fraud = very easy to do, very easy to solve, and isn't more than a minor inconvenience.
It's more of the same, confuse the issue, confuse the populace, and try not to lose in a landslide. - InRussetShadows, on 10/12/2008, -2/+3Again, here's how you do it, lefties (please stop feigning ignorance). You swamp the system with bogus registrations and bogus votes (like in Ohio before they shut it down -- remember? You know, where people could register and vote on the same day so that checking the registration of the voter couldn't feasibly be done). When the system is overloaded, the standards for acceptable votes go down, so the workers let stuff slip that they wouldn't ordinarily let slip just to get all the votes counted. This is what ACORN does.
Redrawing the political maps, is called "gerrymandering" and it's been in practice for a long time. However, it was Southern Democrats who excelled at it, splitting up the black vote so that no Republicans could be elected.
I blame anyone for re-registering if they don't take the time to know the law and find out what they're supposed to do.
And by the way, vote fraud and voter registration fraud are both criminal activities. ACORN should be punished under the RICO statues, as its "business" crosses state lines. You don't do things without being responsible for them, and their claims that "some people were overactive" is simply untrue, when you see it over and over and over again. A pattern shows a plan.
- BungaloBill, on 10/12/2008, -1/+4Vote fraud = very difficult and extremely rare.
- Richandler, on 10/12/2008, -9/+3Man I have no idea what's happening in politics anymore. I'm so glad I stopped paying attention.
- Wakkyweed, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2It's people like you who got us into this mess in the first place. You simply voted for "the guy I'd like to have a beer with" without giving it any thought. Either pay attention or don't vote.
- jperson, on 10/12/2008, -7/+15This is so dumb. Anything but talk about the economy, right McCain?
- Lhandroval, on 10/12/2008, -13/+4This whole riled up "scandal" is pretty stupid, but seeing the my.barackobama.com moderators wiping the blogs of those who post about ACORN is a little... odd.
- protogenxl, on 10/12/2008, -0/+6I get the feeling that the supposed Acorn Discussion Posters are just trolls trying to post false information that they can then blog about and get on fox news. Hell Hillary's people threw every thing the could find at him during the primary and now John McCain is throwing Hillary's shell casings.
- BungaloBill, on 10/12/2008, -0/+5Those bloggers on my.barackobama.com are clearly trolls. It speaks volumes that the only tactics they have is to try to spread false rumors by trying to pretend to be a supporter of Obama. If McCain had even one good solid issue he could promote, his supporters could be out in force blogging, digging, and shouting that issue from the mountain tops.
Instead everyone knows that McCain supports all the same things that Bush supports. We know a McCain presidency has more economic turmoil, more war, more deception ... more of the same crap everyone is sick of. So McCain's supporters have nothing left but making mountains out of molehills and trying to mislead McCain into the White House.

*cough* *cough* John Hagee *cough* *cough*
*cough* *cough* George Bush *cough* *cough* - basicben, on 10/13/2008, -0/+4Yes, Obama is a Socialist scumbag of the lowest order.
But it's OK. I just read this morning how the Republicans are going to steal the election anyway, so it doesn't matter that Barack is Socialist scum and that no real American would even consider voting for the piece of dung. He can't win. It's hopeless.
And all the racists are simply ecstatic about the news. You know, the racists? Anyone who won't vote for Obama is a racist according to the "true believers" supporting their messiah.
At any rate it doesn't matter now and all the Socialists/Democrats have to look forward to is another 4 years of hating America and everything it stands for.
Well, that and the free koolaid refills. At least that's something, right?

- sheasie, on 10/12/2008, -9/+7ISRAPUNDIT (a.k.a. "Ted Belman") is a Zionist living in Canada - telling America what to do ?! ***** this guy. Buried.
- InRussetShadows, on 10/12/2008, -1/+4I'd better not ever read you praising a single other foreigner for commenting on American politics.
- Birdie1111, on 10/12/2008, -4/+7These Obama supporters who post the big long explanations explaning Fact to us. Come On. You can post anything and call it Fact, that does not make it so. The real fact is that most people on the street do not know about politics or the politicians. They do not educate themselves, so Obama supporters post all the Fact and hope people will believe them. They post long drawn out things trying to make their lies sink in. I am just hoping that most of the people that read these comments are educated. There is so much lying going on here.
Obama has his lemmings out here trying to make sure the American people get No information about him or his past. I am afraid for America if he gets his way.
He has captured the Youth they say, Well, The Youth have no life experience and they just parrot what is fed to them. I pray of America that will not exist as we have if Obama gets his way. A few years down the road under Obama, if he gets in, There will be a Great Wailing, but it will take a lot of work to Take Back America after Obama and his ilk take over!!!! - Mujokan, on 10/12/2008, -2/+2http://www.mcclatchydc.com/104/story/53790.html
- str1fe, on 10/12/2008, -5/+4I'd be willing to take this seriously if it looked like it was from even a slightly unbiased and/or reputable source.
As it is, I don't buy it. - aud24, on 10/12/2008, -1/+6I think at this point Barry could skin a live puppy and still be considered the second coming... McCain if you're out there ( btw this is rhetorical) show us that tenacity you had in the primaries- when you slayed that pretty boy Romney (a better politician- in the truest sense of the word)... step it up or you're going to lose this election... We need a fighter right now, not a flaccid quasi-leader, bending under the bureaucrats who are telling you to play nice with Barry... Kill or be killed at this point (figuratively speaking- just in case big brother is watching :D).
- basicben, on 10/13/2008, -0/+3Well said and I agree completely.
- JoanneGreco, on 10/12/2008, -1/+5Great article. Thanks for sharing it!
- xyz4u2c, on 10/13/2008, -4/+1Now hold on a minute! So because Obama said he would support them that means he is guilty by association? Did it ever occur to any of you that it is possible that he didn't know that they were doing these things? I wonder how many people you do business with or friends that you have who are doing things that are unethical. Should you be held accountable for their immorality simply because you do business with them or because you are friends of theirs? I didn’t think so. Then why would you hold Obama accountable for what ACORN did? Does that really make sense?
I don't like to get involved with politics, but I had to say something here. - basicben, on 10/13/2008, -1/+4Obama is intertwined with ACORN from waaaaaay back.
Google "obama acorn" and get schooled little brother. - BGIRL2008, on 10/14/2008, -1/+3OBAMA has been affiliated with Acorn for years. He just gave them over $800,000 from his current campaign. Obama is as dirty as they get. Not to even mention the fact that he hangs out with terrorists and is a socialist to boot. Great pick, Dems! He is the biggest *****' joke of a candidate you could have chosen. You shouldn't have screwed Hillary over. She deserved the nomination. Obama cheated in the primaries too but no one in the media will talk about it.
