In your article you talk about "the stonewalling of the Democrats".
I would argue stonewalling is more of a "liberal thing". (True Democrats don't defecate on their country)
A common thread in nearly every American issue for the last 45 years can be traced to liberalism ... an ideology or belief America must suffer or deserves to suffer for because of our success as a nation. It's some mentally twisted dogma. Here are but a few:
o American oil companies were pushed to the middle east by liberalism in America.
o Logging and thousands of loggers and their families were devastated by radical environmental liberalism while countries like Japan raped our forests to put our trees in underwater storage.
o Liberal ideology applied to business, manufacturing, research and development caused a mass exodus of producers from this country. We went from being a nation of producers building things the world wanted to a nation dressed like hippies, smoking dope, carrying signs and voting our heritage and prosperity across our borders like shooting at coyotes.
o Liberalism applied to our public education system has had the same affect as introducing salt water to newly formed untreated steel. The corrosive nature of liberalism on the minds of decades of yoots has resulted in a populace only capable of voting for a pretty face with an empty suitcase ... few understand or grasp the consequences of ignorance, the loss of freedoms, liberties and the fact evil exists in the world and evil's sights are set on America!.
o Liberal courts and justices speak for itself. Rather than interpret law, they choose to make law.
The recent 5 to 4 decision on the 2nd amendment issue in DC and the subsequent musings of aghast liberal politicians shows how little liberals care about the founding principles of this great country.
o The "Oneness" of a wholesome marriage in the traditional sense has become a perversion beyond all recognition. We can't smell the stench of a rotten value system anymore due to our prolonged exposure to liberalism.
o We have an enemy sworn to see our destruction by any means possible. It is only fitting that liberalism in the form of political politicians and the mainstream media have served our enemy continuously during this war. Our cultural Left believes America must and should suffer. Ironically, it is the value system of the liberal left that drives radical Islam right out of their friggen monkey suits. Radical Islam is repulsed by the moral depravity and atheism exhibited by our cultural liberal left wish fuels the fires of genocide.
If we fail to stop liberalism in America then we truly deserve the fruit that comes from such a foul seed. What radical Islam doesn't know is not all of America is worthy of the genocide they seek.
The best way to solve the energy crisis, encourage peace and prosperity around the world, stop the ever looming genocide attempt by radical Islam and generally provide for a better world would be to slay liberal ideology wherever and whenever it is found! (Not the practitioners, just the ideology ;-)
- Nosocialism, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Very true, not all Democrats are Liberals. 15-20% of them did vote FOR drilling depending on the specific bill, unfortunately 80 to 85% of them voted against. Also, there were some Republicans on the Liberals side as well, with 80-90% of Republicans voting for Drilling, For Oil from Shale, For Oil from Coal, and For developing our off shore resources, while 10 to 20% voted against depending on the bill. I know I shouldn't generalize but it does mostly break down along party lines.
