"Don't follow the crowd, but VOTE EXACTLY AS I SAY YOU SHOULD, cause, it will solve EVERYTHING."
***** idiot.- Slices, on 06/25/2008, -3/+4Hillary, is that you?
- hairypothead, on 06/26/2008, -4/+4Actually I think the underlying message to the video is something such as: "dofollow the crowd, because it looks like for once the crowd is right on track with this Obama thing."
- fabiosir, on 06/26/2008, -4/+4That's a foolish and selfish remark. I actually don't know anything about Obama or anyone else running for election; I don't care. I'm not voting for anyone, but you're ignoring a fact that Obama may be the right thing... for YOU, but he doesn't hold EVERYONE'S values dearly. He, and nobody, is the right answer for everyone.
Doesn't change the fact that this video was stupid, though. Metaphorically thinking, what purpose does an unlit match have? OBAMA? See, it doesn't really make sense other than just "VOTE FOR OBAMA BECUZ!!!"- Tonicks, on 06/26/2008, -1/+1"VOTE FOR OBAMA BECUZ.!!!" should be his campaign slogan. Well played, sir. It's pretty much the same as "change we can believe in." What does that even mean? He's not going to do anything new. He's going to expand government. I love how you people think the government is your moral and economic babysitter.
- fabiosir, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Actually, you have no idea what he's going to do when he's in office, so you shouldn't shoot your mouth off either. I'm willing to bet that Obama himself doesn't exactly know what he'll do when he gets into office, if he does, because he's never been there.

- CannedMango, on 06/26/2008, -1/+2Where was the "don't follow the crowd" message in there?
I suppose Ghandi's supporters shouldn't have followed the crowd either eh? Where did that get them?
Note: I am NOT comparing Obama to Ghandi... just trying to make a point that following the crowd isn't always bad, because it might just be a lot of people leading in the same direction.- fabiosir, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Where's the "don't follow the crowd" message? Are you ***** daft? There's imagery of a series of identical objects, and the turning point and "message" is when they remove one or two of the series of objects and then they shove a message down your throat.
Did you really not get that? You've got to be ***** retarded; go take your ITBS tests again.
I hope you're not comparing Obama to Ghandi, because Ghandi drank his own urine and ***** children on a regular basis. The only reason you dumbasses think he's anything special is because of ***** Ben Kingsley. Get a ***** life. No. Get a ***** brain.

would that we could all be as jaded as fabiosir... he's littered this digg with condemnations of people who unite behind a common cause or idea. Please, enlighten us. Seriously.
- txtphile, on 06/25/2008, -1/+6Neat little visual. Unfortunately modern liberal and progressive sorts are way too cynical over how the last, not 8, but 28 years have gone to believe in the power of any one man to "be the gap." Maybe it's a good thing, I'm sort of leaning that way myself. If we want to live in a democracy we have to be the gap, be the change we can believe in, for everything; not just wars and pieces.
That being said, nothing is going to change the fact that we were lied to about the reason to go to war in Iraq, and in that process our leadership almost completely botched the job. I'll take the other guy just on ***** principle.- hairypothead, on 06/26/2008, -3/+4It's not about one man being the gap. It's about each of us contributing to make a huge gap between fear and hope. It's about supporting the one guy who *looks* like he could make a difference, if he gets elected. It's about all the good people standing up together and stating "for once there will be no ***** - we've had enough of the same old thing, and we're up for a CHANGE."
- uwiniwin, on 06/26/2008, -3/+4beautifully demonstrated
- digitronix, on 06/26/2008, -12/+8Obama doesn't really want the troops home. He is threatening Iran. He offers no change.

Burried for being typical clueless Obama supporter spam.- Lagger, on 06/26/2008, -1/+2Sad that you are being burried for pointing out the truth...people need to stop living in a dream world. The only canidate who wanted to stop foreign wars was Ron Paul.
- Slices, on 06/26/2008, -1/+2During this delicate electoral period, it would take a fool to go out and say he wanted to stop foreign wars. That could possibly cost such person the election, because half of America lives in terror.
- Lagger, on 06/27/2008, -0/+2So what are you saying? It is ok to deceive the public?
By fool I assume you mean honorable, honest, trustworthy person.

- Tanktunker, on 06/26/2008, -4/+4I'm pretty sure he just wanted an excuse to to burn some matches.
Well, that and use metacafe to make money off digg by making some sort of psuedo-artistic statement that ends with "vote4obama", seriously, don't get suckered in to believing this means anything.- Slices, on 06/26/2008, -2/+3Is there something wrong with getting suckered into believing there might just be something out there worth believing in? Do not confuse strategy with manipulation, young one.
Sometimes, I wish peace could spread like a virus : - 7- Tonicks, on 06/26/2008, -1/+1Sometimes I wish you had a virus ...
called HIV.- Slices, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1You must be very angry to say things like that. I feel a little sorry for you, little one -_-;
- Tonicks, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1Naw. I just felt like saying something offensive to a comment that made sense.
- Slices, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1It's cool man, I also get like that sometimes: that's only human.

- redcolumbine, on 06/26/2008, -3/+3Good illustration. And succinct, unlike a lot of videos I've seen posted here.
- ijacker, on 06/26/2008, -0/+3anyone else get the "bank of america" add that says "this is america"?
- jumbalia, on 06/26/2008, -1/+2Would have been a great video if you took out the Obama part. Obama is not "The Gap", but it doesn't mean you can't be.
- 0Xonox0, on 06/26/2008, -1/+8Mind the Gap.
- wild, on 06/26/2008, -2/+2I cant seem to get MetaCafe's video player to work with my Intel Mac and FireFox. This is the second video I couldn;t get working. Anyone else having this problem?
(Please don't digg me down because I am on a Mac. I am just trying to solve a problem. Thanks)- TruckStuff, on 06/26/2008, -2/+1I'm digging you down for not asking a decent question in an appropriate forum in order to solve your problem.
- wild, on 06/26/2008, -0/+1I am having a problem directly with the subject of this thread and just asking if anyone else is having it. I don;t see how it isn't relevant.

- ToastedZergling, on 06/26/2008, -0/+5News Flash: Obama will not stop the war anytime soon. He'll send assaults to Pakistan and if Iran so much as farts he'll go to war with them too.
He's a lot better than McCain but still not really what the USA needs. We need real change, not a mild variation on our current ways. He's going to just compound many fiscal problems by adding more junk into our government. It's change, but not change I believe will amount to any substantial rebounding from its fall from grace. - LoveYouSomeEric, on 06/26/2008, -2/+2This was horrible! Aside from being amateurish and poorly made, it was totally ineffective as a political ad. You don't win voters over to your side by insulting them (calling them screw ups, for example). What did any of that have to do with Obama? It's like his name was mentioned as an afterthought to punctuate a bunch of empty rhetoric. Substituting McCain, Nader, or Barr would have been equally meaningless.
Also, when making a political ad that encourages people to vote, you might want to look up when the election is actually held. Just for the record it's in November, not October. - skewl, on 06/26/2008, -1/+2Nice n' Sleazy!! Spreads a Steer Clear Message Across
