Because Saddam's invasion force was just off the coastline, right?
It's not really defending when you initiate the attack and subsequently invade and occupy someone's country, just fyi... - 1gunners4, on 07/03/2008, -8/+45I mean, do you really blame the soldier for following protocal?
- AchaIemoipas, on 07/03/2008, -48/+15@1gunners4
YES. That's why Nazi generals were executed.
Following orders is not an excuse, it's also the duty of soldiers to refuse unlawful orders. In the case of Iraq, all orders are unlawful. - pbfreak453, on 07/03/2008, -5/+44I wouldn't be doing it so much as to follow orders, but to just keep myself safe. Turning out pockets is not even close to comparable to exterminating Jews, don't be so dramatic.
- DuffyDirect, on 07/03/2008, -6/+19melodramatic is Achalemoipas's specialty... Just look at other comments on his user page:
"Sure, it's not the same at all. And Israel bombs people with candy and money. And their guns shoot flowers! And they all come from the ground of Israel because God put them there."
"Laying sanctions on a sovereign state isn't diplomacy. It's an act of war. Diplomacy means to negotiate, not to threaten and undermine. You guys did that to Iraq before invading it illegally too."
Apparently he's something of a hot head... - AchaIemoipas, on 07/03/2008, -26/+4Yeah, nothing says melodramatic like the Nuremberg trials:

- DuffyDirect, on 07/03/2008, -8/+1Honestly dude, it's war. The ***** is ***** up. Deal with it? War isn't "nicer" when it has a good pretext. Attila the Hun invaded Rome on the grounds that it was his rightful "dowry" since his 153,324,543rd wife was a Roman Princess. I think I read somewhere that he destroyed Aquilleria near modern Venice so thoroughly that diplomats couldn't even approach the city because of the stench of the dead. Sounds like a pretty B.S. reason to go to war, huh? World War 2... You had some good reasons there. But I would have much rather lived through Attila the Hun's invasion of Europe than Germany and Russia's........

Did you even read the article that you posted in reference to US soldiers killing children???
It states that those 9 children and 5 women were terrorists.
And I completely believe it.
How do you know that those children didn't talk and play with soldiers by day, but shot at them by night.
Its just like Vietnam; soldiers would see poor farmers by day and by night those "poor farmers" would be stealthily killing soldiers and giving away their positions to the enemy.
Just because they are children doesn't make them innocent. If you were in Iraq and befriended a child and later found out that he killed a humvee full of soldiers with an IED, what would you do?
Would you go to that boys house and kill him or would you let it go because "he's an innocent child and he's not capable of killing"?
And so what if they kill children? Those children were terrorists! I don't give a rat's ass if US soldiers kill terrorist children. US soldiers are protecting my freedoms, they are guaranteeing that someday those children don't learn to fly a plane and attack us.
Yah, not all children are terrorists, but the ones in the link you posted were.
So before you post a link trying to prove your point, read it first and become educated on the discussion.
Thank you, have a nice day. - digitalpencil, on 07/03/2008, -1/+11TBF.. all soldiers are killers, regardless of the nation they defend, that's kind of their purpose. You're right in that all Iraqis aren't terrorists though, although most wouldn't consider themselves terrorists in the first place, more freedom fighters or simply soldiers themselves.
- quaxon, on 07/03/2008, -17/+6Hoofen, youre a ***** idiot. The only terrorists in iraq are the america and coalition forces. The iraqis are simply fighting for their country. Imagine if China or russia came to liberate us of Bush and was occupying us. If your friend or son or mother helped fight them off would they be a terrorist as well?
also ***** on US soldies fighting for you to be free. This is what idiots repeat over and over till they believe it to make themselves feel ok about all the blood shed. The troops only fight for the freedom of corporations to exploit third world people and resources. Get your head out of your ass and look at reality. The only good soldier in Iraq is a ***** dead one. - blanketfury, on 07/03/2008, -5/+0YOU'RE A TERRORIST!!! BLASPHEMY!!! BLASPHEMY I TELL YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The FBI is on its way. Good day. - bgfinkel, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2hell, only ~1% is either
- MrFisty, on 07/04/2008, -1/+6Only an incredibly small number of people are killers and terrorists. But an alarmingly large number of the media are sensationalists.
- elnerdo, on 07/04/2008, -1/+5Just to make a note: Whoever said: "All soldiers are killers" is totally wrong. The point of a soldier is not to kill. The point is to have the power to kill when needed. The idea of having a standing army is that hopefully your soldiers will not NEED to kill, even though they have the power and training to.
- TheRedSp4de, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2quaxon,

- sodoh, on 07/03/2008, -5/+27I am wondering if there is an element of trust here. The kids pockets are turned out.
Also what do they mean by trust? Trust that the kid isn't going to get their brains blown out? Or that the kid isn't going to put the solider in a position that a sniper can take him out?
Sorry if people think I am cynical, but I don't see this picture heart warming at all. All it does is remind me of an illegal war where thousands of people are dead from. - LongShlong, on 07/03/2008, -1/+3Yes, only in pictures.

- Rojahon, on 07/03/2008, -5/+47Why'd you put "big gun" in quotes? It really is a big gun!
- thcobbs, on 07/03/2008, -10/+14Not really. Its basically a glorified .243
- douggmc, on 07/03/2008, -5/+36Actually ... it is a .223 (basically 5.56x45mm is same as .223 but loaded with slightly different pressures). And there is nothing glorified about it. But ***** get their panties in a bundle when they see a semi-auto AR-15, but have no problem with a semi-auto hunting rifle in the same caliber.
- mountain1488, on 07/03/2008, -19/+10well thank you charlton heston for that extremely relevant information on assault rifles. ill go back to my heartwarming photo now
- douggmc, on 07/03/2008, -12/+22@mountain1488
... my point exactly *****. What exactly is an assault rifle? Is it a rifle colored black? Is it a rifle with a pistol grip? Please tell me how your "assault rifle" chambered in .223 is going to kill someone "more dead" than your semi-auto hunting rifle in the same caliber?
I'm not even in the NRA, but I can think for myself and reach logical conclusions. I don't need ignorant overly liberal media reaching for ratings by flashing the term "Assault Rifle" in big red letters and putting images of those evil black colored guns ... teaching me about my 2nd Amendment rights. - mountain1488, on 07/03/2008, -4/+5touche sir...well put
- chiefbandit2200, on 07/03/2008, -5/+3I think the point is that the gun is about half the size of that kid...
- DuffyDirect, on 07/03/2008, -3/+7as I understand it an assault rifle is a rifle that allows a soldier to be more versatile -- storming trenching, fighting machine guns etc. I think regular rifles are pretty much what you have Americans using in WW2 and Korea: bolt-action, long-range things that run out of ammo quick and don't fire automatically. The only reason current assault rifles have semi-auto modes I think is because in Vietnam they found that soldiers just wasted ammunition by pressing down on the trigger praying and spraying.
- BestJaxx, on 07/03/2008, -3/+4Actually, it's an M4 carbine. Standard issue.
- douggmc, on 07/03/2008, -1/+7@DuffyDirect
From wikipedia:
"Semi-automatic rifles, including commercial versions of the AR-15, and "automatic" rifles limited to firing single shots, even though incorrectly classified in the United States as assault rifles by the now defunct 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, are not assault rifles as they are not selective fire. Belt-fed weapons or rifles with very limited capacity fixed magazines are also generally not considered assault rifles." - Pstall, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2@DuffyDirect
Americans had semi-automatic rifles in WW2 and the Korean war. M1 Garand (semi-auto) 30-06 (held 8 rounds), M1 Carbine (semi-auto) .30 cal (held 15-30 rounds).

None of my family owns AK-47s and they're all in Iraq -_-
Granted as a kid I've held one of those things, damned heavy and big thing, yeah I was a toddler at the time ^_^
It actually makes me wonder how those kids in Africa hold the guns, 8 or 9 years old and the gun is about as big as they are...

Why can't people accept that we have indeed done some good things for the Iraqi people. No use looking at the war in nothing but a negative light. Despite the fact that is overall is a cruddy situation, its good to look at the positive stuff every once and a while. - Larsonal777, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3from what I've heard from my friends in the military is this kind of thing is actually what goes on the most... and all that other stuff is really the negative propoganda... that is not to say bad stuff isn't going on but come ON its war! I wonder how screwed up the situation would have been if the media was allowed as much access and we had the internet during WWII!
- lbdinh, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1Thanks for pointing that out hivoltage. I can't believe how many people blame soldiers for the whole war in Iraq. Everybody just forgot that Congress voted for the war (Sen. Clinton was one of them), Bush couldn't do it by himself. And Congress is supposed to represent the American people so we have a lot more people to blame for it.
I did a 15-month tour in Iraq without killing anybody so am I a killer too since all soldiers ARE killers? Contrary to popular belief, most Iraqis aren't afraid of US Troops and most of them aren't suicide bombers either. Believe it or not, they love their kids too and it's only been a few rare isolated incidents where children were used as suicide bombers.
I've interacted with families and children on our patrols and they were in no way threatened by our presence. We even had an interpreter with us to clarify any misunderstandings. Of course if we see anything out of the ordinary, we will stop people and search them since it's standard operating procedures. That's part of being a soldier. You can be extremely nice to one person but once they pick up a weapon and aim it at you, you have to treat them like an armed combatant.
All those mass bombings aren't decisions made by the regular soldiers. They are decisions made by a few higher up officers, usually colonel and above which in no way represent the majority of the troops as a whole.
There are many great things the troops have done over there but most of them are not deemed newsworthy since it doesn't sell as much papers as the atrocities.
I may be a veteran against the war but all politics and the reasons why this war was waged aside (I got a couple of theories on that myself with GREED being the main one), I was a soldier and this was my job. I didn't forget MY mission over there and that was to bring peace and democracy to the people of Iraq. I would never do anything that goes against my conscience and violate that mission.
Quit buying into all the propaganda, both pro-war and anti-war, but instead form your our own opinion about it.

- Symbolism, on 07/03/2008, -7/+7I don't hate our military.
I hate their leadership who make incredibly bad decisions and cost them their lives.
I hate the elected officials who are forcing them into fire for profit.
Our servicemen and women deserve the respect for doing what they are ordered to do. Their leaders, and the elected officials who placed their lives on the line to increase their profit margins, are to blame for any wrong doing any soldier commits, and while under the line of fire, and while in duty. We have not had a leader (including bush) who would stand up for our military servicemen, not the generals or commanding officers, since the 1950's.
War for profit, the poor die so the rich can grow fatter and extort more funds from the middle class worldwide. Its a shame that this is the truth, instead of fighting for liberty, we are fighting for further corruption, more widespread, rampant and less veiled.
I feel sorry for this soldier, I feel sorry for the child. Neither should have to endure such harsh conditions as they were in the photo. - DemDude, on 07/03/2008, -3/+8Too bad all these good men and women are being led into danger for nothing but money.

The fact that there are still both cameras and children in Iraq doesn't change the devastation that has been brought to that country. I am a mong. - Darkan, on 07/03/2008, -1/+0The war is definitely horrible, and some terrible things have been done to the people of Iraq. I think it's good to see both sides of the story.
- Nollykin, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1Darkan: I disagree. That soldier in the initial photo with the kid on his foot could have been just as big an ***** as the girl smiling over the corpse. He was just in a good mood at the time of this photo being taken.

This is a great picture and I think that a lot of the forces are doing a good job with local people BUT it's a war where the Americans and Europeans kill other people in their country, therefore people should not be buried for showing the reality, it's nice to see both sides of the war and not get caught up in petty patriotism.

What do you expect them to do, turn around to their officers and just say "My politics don't fit in with this, so you can just ***** off."
- usingpond, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1What about the ones that sign up during the war?
- kraftj, on 07/03/2008, -3/+3Nobody (sane) blames the soldiers. The soldiers are just there carrying out orders and trying not to get killed; it's the orders that are f-ed up. I'm sorry, but I can't stand the mention that people want you to believe the soldiers are to blame and are killing innocent people. They're just doing what they've been brainwashed to do.
Sure, innocent Iraqi's have been killed, tortured, etc, but I don't blame any of them. Our government puts them in situations they shouldn't be in in the first place, and I strongly blame any horrible consequences of this "war" on them; even if it is an American soldier torturing an innocent Iraqi. The American soldier shouldn't have been there in the first place.- plhofmei, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3I accept your conclusion but I reject your premise. Goering was only carrying out orders too. ;)
- userperson, on 07/03/2008, -1/+3I blame the soldiers, guess that means I'm not SANE *amused*
If there was no one to carry out orders, or at least these orders, then the U.S. military wouldn't be in the mess it is.
Sure the idiots at the top are horrible, but ultimately the soldiers on the ground are the ones committing atrocities. Don't kill people you don't know just 'cause some one tells you to. Don't let yourself be put in a position where such things are likely. - PolishLogic, on 07/03/2008, -3/+1@userperson
So you'd prefer to see them all in the brig, or carrying around the burden of a dishonorable discharge upon being court-martialed for insubordination?
Or are you just saying that people should flat out stop joining the military?
The first option just ruins the lives of a few, the second option ruins the lives of many. - ImagineFreedom, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3My stance exactly. Soldiers have an obligation to disobey illegal, unconstitutional, and/or unethical orders.
Ultimately though, all Americans not actively protesting hold the ultimate responsibility; it's the government we've accepted as legitimate that gives the orders in the first place. - PolishLogic, on 07/03/2008, -2/+1@ImagineFreedom
Wouldn't it be easier for Congress to....oh, I don't know...quit footing the bill for this war the majority of them claim to be so completely against??
If there is no money being paid out to keep them there, it would seem that the troops would have to withdraw - userperson, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2@PolishLogic
I'm not gonna put them in the brig, or dishonor them. I blame them, but maimings, war wounds, PTSD, etc. etc. I'm not gonna do anything to them.
People should flat out stop joining the military.
They don't know what they're going to do with you. They could have you gun down people exactly like your friends and family. There's not a good way out as you address, you can't quit, so you're essentially a slave.
the second one you haven't thought through. Violence ruins more lives than both. - PolishLogic, on 07/03/2008, -2/+1@userperson
Violence can also do good. - zombies187, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1@polishlogic
Wouldn't it be easier for Congress to....oh, I don't know...quit footing the bill for this war the majority of them claim to be so completely against??
The majority of Congress is FOR the war in Iraq. Don't you understand how voting works?
Also how would that be easier that soldiers simply refusing to commit crimes? - userperson, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2@Polishlogic
Yes violence CAN do good things, it's called self-defense, and it hardly ever applies.
Usually violence does bad things. Violence also has secondary (if not tertiary, etc. etc.) effects which can be many times worse than the original cause.
The default is or should be violence is bad -- don't.

- noahhoward, on 07/03/2008, -1/+15A lot of those lines are wrong. The sun is closer to coming from right above them.
- jehan60188, on 07/03/2008, -3/+6demon spawn with no shadow! run!
- bicyclethief, on 07/03/2008, -1/+9I think all but the line from the tip of gun to the ground are correct, which means the the kid's shadow is pretty much below him and not slanted away.
- Scrappy1850, on 07/03/2008, -0/+11the right most lines are wrong... look at the gun muzzle. the correct angle is the shallow one.
- corkdorkdan, on 07/03/2008, -0/+14The lines aren't drawn correctly. The second line from the right points from a shadow on the ground to the soldier's pack (or maybe his butt). But it's actually the shadow being cast by his elbow. Similarly, one of the lines on the left should pass through the boy's pocket that's turned inside-out and to its corresponding shadow.
In short, all the lines are drawn incorrectly with the exception of the one passing through the tip of the solider's gun. That's the clearest and most obviously true line/shadow. - doople, on 07/03/2008, -0/+5Lines are wrong. I believe the two lines tracing from the soldier's helmet should actually be coming from the boy's back and his turned-out pocket. This would line them up with the gun barrel line. Boot and back lines are wrong as well. Probably from his elbow and just another section of the boot. Go by the gun line, that's the most prominent feature, you know that line is correct.
- RobotLeAwesome, on 07/03/2008, -2/+4Wow, you guys are pretty dumb – look at the soldiers knee, there's the kid's arm shadow. The only line that is remotely correct in that image is the muzzle of the gun, use that to visualize it.
- noahhoward, on 07/03/2008, -1/+20There you go http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3120/2633743391_cb3 ...
- UnixSkunk, on 07/03/2008, -1/+2 Actually, the only line I see there, which is correct on the soldier, is the one for the gun. The line you drew from his pack to the ground, should be from his left elbow to the ground...Which would put it at about the same angle as the one for the tip of the rifle barrel. The shadow for his ankle seems to be correct as it is low enough to the ground that it doesnt cast a shadow far enough away to identify the correct angle of the sun. The closer an object is to the ground, the harder it is to identify the angle of the sun when it gets above 45 degrees. overhead...
Most of this is common sense, it seems to me.
The kid's shadow seems to be missing because he is leaning forward, and if you use the same angle as the tip of the gun, his shadow should be almost directly below him...and slightly merged with that of the soldier's knee....
I hate when a soldier abuses his power/authority...but when I see something like this that is likely accurate, people really should shut up and give props where its due.

There's no need for the US soldiers. It is clear that the addition of heavily armed soldiers only made violence worse in Iraq. And that is unlikely to change until US soldiers leave and the Iraqis take control again.- Greg2k, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1I'm pretty sure anyone who has joined the Army in the last 25 years knows perfectly well what to expect.
If you don't want to obey orders, open up a restaurant. - getontop, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1You're an idiot. Do you think everyone in the military have an option to leave and start a normal life? My best friend just left for Afghanistan. If he leaves he has nothing to come home to (his mom is a druggie and live in a van).
- Greg2k, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1I'm pretty sure anyone who has joined the Army in the last 25 years knows perfectly well what to expect.
- patorama, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2My friend is a Marine who was deployed to Fallujah last year. He had a six year old kid throw a grenade at his Humvee as it drove by, and I'm sure this wasn't an isolated incident, this is just one the many he happened to relate to me. I can't imagine being in the situation where I might have to shoot a kid because he is trying to kill me. It boggles the mind.
- jehan60188, on 07/03/2008, -35/+12or, you know- today the soldier's taking that PR photo, tommorrow he's going to rush into that kid's house, kill all the men in there, then rape his mom, and his sister
- blacktriangle, on 07/03/2008, -34/+24A starving child begging for food from the same occupier who has destroyed his country.
- superkendall, on 07/03/2008, -6/+2He's obviously not starving, he just wants candy...
And we are not an occupying force, the government there runs things.- blacktriangle, on 07/03/2008, -1/+6Americans are an occupying force in Iraq. That is documented and not debatable.
- quaxon, on 07/03/2008, -2/+3You keep telling yourself that *****
- blacktriangle, on 07/04/2008, -2/+1That's right. I keep telling myself the truth, while you delude yourself with lies.
- superkendall, on 07/03/2008, -6/+2He's obviously not starving, he just wants candy...
- PotenC, on 07/03/2008, -14/+8Nice picture.
- magneticdozer, on 07/03/2008, -15/+74the fun part is you'll never see that kind of stuff on the news.
- an0nymous, on 07/03/2008, -4/+25When was the last time you saw anything about Iraq on the news? It's the unreported war.
I mean "Yeah it's a war. But Jessica Simpsons little sister might be pregnant!"
Seriously compare the news coverage of the bogus teen pregnancy story and the Iraq coverage.
***** disgusting.- ediblepet, on 07/03/2008, -2/+2Relevant things related to Iraq are reported often. That doesn't mean all other sources of news cease to exist, including pop culture, which the news has always reported on. Do you wish that all other forms of news were ignored just because of Iraq? Is there really that much news in Iraq that goes unreported?
The American military invaded Iraq in 2003. Five years ago. Do you think there is someone who isn't aware of this? - hivoltage815, on 07/04/2008, -1/+1They cover Iraq just as much as they covered the situations in Kosova 10+ years ago. Not enough soldiers are dying for us to care I guess, business as usual for the U.S.

- KainHighwind, on 07/03/2008, -3/+12Yeah, truly sad. The only place I've seen good news on the Iraq war is Fox.
Some of the right pundits are correct... liberals would have a lot to lose if the War in Iraq is a success.- Defuser, on 07/04/2008, -1/+1Oh, shut the ***** up. As I recall, "liberals" supported the war, back before it became obvious that we're there for NO REASON WHATSOEVER. But he, there's a cute staged picture of a kid with a solider, so that makes all the OTHER kids that our soldiers have murdered, raped, and left orphans OK, right?
- an0nymous, on 07/03/2008, -4/+25When was the last time you saw anything about Iraq on the news? It's the unreported war.
- zosoIV, on 07/03/2008, -69/+101He's telling the soldier to leave.
- userperson, on 07/03/2008, -6/+3"Why are you here? My city is in chaos because of you"
"Go back, turn around, and stop killing my people"
"Go away."
http://is.gd/Lv3 - hivoltage815, on 07/04/2008, -1/+4We turned our own cities to chaos during the Revolutionary War in order to achieve liberty. I guess the only difference is we made the decision ourselves and didn't have someone come in and make the decision for us.
- desertDenizen, on 07/04/2008, -3/+1He's wired with 4 lbs. of C-4.
- thatsmyaibo, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3You would be surprised. My friend is a marine and was sent there and then stop lossed for a second tour. The kids there loved the marine presence. The war isn't only what you see on the news.
- userperson, on 07/03/2008, -6/+3"Why are you here? My city is in chaos because of you"
- mdoerr, on 07/03/2008, -29/+9There's going to be a park on that site! Well, at least until that kid's uncle blows up the crane that's constructing it.
- xbunsenx, on 07/03/2008, -38/+4Right after the picture the kid pulls a grenade out of the soldiers pack and the soldier never gets to trust again.
- mediaspree, on 07/03/2008, -57/+46Hey American man, Where's my father?!
OH, You mean the suspected Al Qaeda militant? Sorry son...- Blydchyld, on 07/03/2008, -6/+5Some people just have to be negative...

- jpaolini, on 07/03/2008, -23/+72A few of the comments here are pretty appalling. Show some respect guys, we don't need commentary about prostitution and pedophilia, not even as a joke. Keep your fantasies to yourselves.
Fantastic photo.- an0nymous, on 07/03/2008, -3/+30No offense, but you're pleading for civility on the internet?
Good luck with that.- jpaolini, on 07/03/2008, -1/+18Heh, I realized exactly that after I clicked submit. Oh well.
- AYork, on 07/03/2008, -8/+5OH HAI, WELCOME TO TEH TUBERNETS!

Again, in not such a nice tone
Dude, shut up with your "US soldiers kill children" *****.
and read the damn article- AchaIemoipas, on 07/03/2008, -7/+1There is no article.
And I'll shut up about it when your country pays for its crimes. Until then, YOUR COUNTRY MURDERS CHILDREN, DESTROYS HOMES, TORTURES INNOCENTS, MURDERS WOMEN IN THEIR HOMES FOR PROFIT. - Quisquis, on 07/03/2008, -1/+1Too bad this is the internet and you aren't accountable for what you say... I'd recommend that they do it to you Achal.

- CryTekEmployee, on 07/03/2008, -20/+6Assault rifles and kids, that pic turns me on like a lawnmower
- parallax7d, on 07/03/2008, -34/+149Only thing missing is the soldier not being in that country.
- Cutrush, on 07/03/2008, -1/+1Word is Bon jovi!
- Elissar, on 07/03/2008, -1/+1A-*****'-men.
- Nickdotnet, on 07/03/2008, -25/+4I heard Faux news talk about this photo....moments later the boy pulled the pin on a grenade in his pocket. Faux said that why we can't trust muslims...cuz they're cute and deadly.
- nlo69, on 07/03/2008, -8/+2Why do you watch that *****? I love guys who call it Faux news - except they are actually watching it! Your eyeballs on the screen counts in the ratings, douchebag.
- twiztidsinz, on 07/03/2008, -1/+3It's actually your TV being on and tuned to that station that gives ratings.

- xs11ax, on 07/03/2008, -5/+14WTF! that picture IS political.
the reason for that kid and the soldier ever meeting like that is political.
get the ***** out of iraq. in fact get the ***** out of the world.- Quisquis, on 07/03/2008, -3/+4Yeah... the number one consumer in the world should "get the ***** out of [it]". What do you think would happen to all the kids nearly starving that america feeds? What about all the AIDS aid provided to
Africa? What do you think would happen to the world economy when the largest portion of it dropped out?
I wish America could leave the world. I wish we could close our borders, pull in our military, close off our economy and let all you idiots go to hell in a hand basket. Meanwhile we'd do just fine.
But we can't, so we'll do what we can where we can to make things better. Unfor
