Woman President Anyone? Anyone?
thinkmenthink.com — Lately there has been an ongoing debate as to how people would react if Hillary Clinton became The President. Whether it is played by a man or a woman, it ’s hard to clear a swamp when filth is dropped from every direction and the same goes true for politics.

- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -0/+15Many countries elected women Prime Ministers:
India: Indira Gandhi
Israel: Golda Meir
UK: Margaret thatcher
Pakistan: Benazir Bhutto
& many others. It's really not considered "new-age" or unheard of in other parts of the world and shouldn't really be treated as such taboo. - skewl, on 07/07/2008, -2/+8You guys don't get it! You alredy have a female President who also happens to be black. When Mr Bush has to ask Condi can he please go to the bathroom it's a sure fire bet who's running your country.
- Conwaysb0718, on 07/07/2008, -0/+10Lately? Where have you been for the past year and a half?
And Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I would vote for a woman to be president, just not that woman. - swisscheese97, on 07/07/2008, -4/+5I roll my eyes every time I hear something about women making better presidents/leaders (not that this article does that) Its a fallacy. Here's what will happen if all countries elect women president/leaders. There will be a summit held on the signing of a "no more wars forever" treaty. During the summit, Japan's empress will whisper into the Bolivian Prime-Minister's ear that France's President has a fat ass. This will spread like wildfire, backstabs will turn into open-faced insults, allegiances will fall into place and the next think you know it... Australia gets nuked.
- FairDinkumMate, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Hey, why do we get nuked??? Couldn't you have picked Canada or Greenland?
- swisscheese97, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1lol, cuz the geographic aesthetics of Canada make it look like the country itself is busy, being physically active, whereas Australia looks like a big fat white guy in an inner tube, sucking on a pepsi-cola.
- FairDinkumMate, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1Aussies don't drink Pepsi - EVER!!! That's why the company left the country & sold the rights to Schweppes!
And haven't you read the stereotypes? We're all big, bronzed(not white) with beer bellies wearing thongs(flip-flops) & singlets!

- arbiterofcool, on 07/07/2008, -3/+6Wow, great article!
- jdrohn74, on 07/07/2008, -1/+5One has to wonder, was Hillary running or her husband. In PA, Hillary worked the northern part of the state while Bill worked the southern part. It was interesting to watch the two go at it... Made me wonder who we would be voting for.
- domfosnz, on 07/07/2008, -2/+8what's wrong with having a woman president?
- NoBailouts, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5Nice article! Definitely some good perspective.
- Odenized, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5Emotions are a key thing that most people overlook. I'm really glad this article gave some focus to it. Those who have the power to evoke emotion have great power no matter where they are or who they deal with.
- MikeonTV, on 07/08/2008, -2/+3it's about time!
- yellowcakewalk, on 07/08/2008, -3/+3You can still vote for a woman, and more importantly, a non-corporate-sellout candidate ( unlike the Democrato-Republican tools ). Vote for Cynthia McKinney of the Green Party. She sure as hell would not fund Bush's wars, nor give the damn telecoms retroactive immunity, nor vote for the PATRIOT act like OBama.
- AbsolutePatriot, on 07/08/2008, -1/+1I appreciate your efforts to throw a monkey wrench into the NWO two party sham system, yellowcake, but Cynthia is not the answer.
She is now a member of the green party, which is a globalist facist-light-leftist branch of the elites. They want to drown us in government spending (aka socialism) fighting on propaganda issues like Global warming in an attempt to strip us of more freedoms.
Clever those globalists are. But they aren't fooling me.
The ONLY candidate left who isn't a traitor is RONALD EARNEST PAUL. Despite what the MSMS has led you to believe, he is NOT out of the RACE

- mpind176, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4India has it.. Honorable Mrs. Pratibha Patil
- DrPaul2008, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3If the Libertarian Party was still made up of libertarians, the best candidate available would be a woman. So would her running mate, if I'm not mistaken. Dr. Mary Ruwart; the woman who should be president.
Now that I think of it, I'd highly recommend checking out her book, "Healing Our World" http://www.ruwart.com/Healing/ - enronias, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2It's not that I have a problem with a woman as president, it's that I have a problem with Hilary Clinton in any position of power . . .
- Sourcio, on 09/13/2008, -0/+1Women should not be presidents. Smartest women are great in helping men providing different and emotional angle of the situation, and make them think of other implications, have new perspective.
