I hope he hammers this for the next 60 days! - gsadamb, on 09/07/2008, -0/+12The McCain campaign made a pretty serious strategic blunder when they ceded the "Experience" argument (by choosing Palin) in favor of the "Change" theme. Whether right or wrong, the Obama campaign has been synonymous with "change" for a year and a half, and now that the McCain campaign is trying to go down that road, it brings the fight right where Obama wants it.
- heyvince, on 09/08/2008, -0/+1Yeah you are right, the only problem that I see is that Obama has already done most of the branding for "Change." It also makes it more difficult for the campaigns to differentiate their rhetoric from one and another. They will be saying similar things, but meaning different things, to the less engaged voter this will make them look very similar. And the question becomes where do those voters default? Experience? Newness? Its hard to tell. I have faith in Barack though.

We need to continue to remind people of the failed policies and the mindset that have brought this country down over the past eight years and stress the Obama/Biden policies that will lift us up, put us on the right track and restore our standing in the world again.

Thank you for driving two more nails into the coffin of American democracy. Keith and Chris may have been hard on neo-con ears, but they were two of the FEW VOICES LEFT WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO TELL THE TRUTH. I realize that on corporate TV it is important to toe the corporate line in politics, BUT YOUR DECISION STINKS. You can congratulate yourselves on helping turn America from a republic to an empire controlled by money grubbing, liberty squashing, militaristic liars. The process is well on its way and has been so for quite a few years now. YOU COULD REVERSE THIS PROCESS BY REINSTATING THESE TWO GOOD MEN. Keith's mouth is not nearly as bad as O'Reilly's; yet Keith gets shot down by corporate Big Brother and O'Reilly is left to stand and continue spewing venom and right wing propaganda.
