    The title should really be "Obama uses strange analogy to state the obvious".

  • americaindanger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd really like to know Mr. Obama's solution to ridding our dependence on foreign oil. Banning SUVs and forcing people to drive specific cars is anathema to the principles of liberty in this country. I'm all for environmental responsibility by every American, but it's going to take a concerted effort to change how people live. People being more self-reliant and responsible for themselves regarding their food, health and home will make a big difference. The less we have to depend on each other and especially the federal, state and local governments, the better off we'll be as people.
