The Prop 8 protestors were doing just that, their legal right, freedom of speech, telling those christians to ***** off with their high horse. Then of course the police had to get involved and people were strong-armed into compliance. Just because you hate these gays/lesbians unrationally and you think for a second that they have lesser rights than you doesn't mean we all do. They have the right to protest the Christians as loudly(and if it be so, as crudely) as they want under their freedom of speech in public. The Christians have to realize the same right that allows them to talk to themselves in the middle of the street also applies to others. Ther police should never get involved unless violence breaks out, which it sound to me like it didn't. Hooray America

- Psalms83, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1I would suggest to any Christian that is affected by circumstances such as this or if you feel you want to minister to these people...that you prayerfully read Matthew the 5Th chapter several times and be prepared to make it a part of your interaction with these people.
Remember these are people for which Jesus died ... and you and I as Christians thru the Holy spirit are to extend our hand to them in christian love.... to love them ...We don't have to embrace their lifestyle...as much as we might wish them to accept the lords salvation ...God has allowed them to reject that salvation with all the foreboding consequences that are in store for them. Many will accept but a great many won't.
