- bridoc, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5I'd like to see more of that. What a crazy thing, people actually getting fired if they don't do their job, and replaced with someone who actually wants to do the job? Who would have thought of such thing! Next thing you know regulatory agencies will no longer be headed by people who have a vested interest in not regulating!

.....Ugh.... - ObamAmerican48, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4Henry Waxman is hands down the most unsung hero of recent American political landscape. He has championed programs like the low income breast and cervical cancer screening, improvement of nursing home standards, prescription drug safety, etc. I'm convinced that if he weren't such an unfortunate looking fellow, he would already be president. Isn't that sad (that looks DO matter in politics)?
- OffPiste, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1Why does Waxman look like a pig?
ugh - genomega, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1Waxman is a radical environmentalist. When he runs the last manufacture out of the country, he can turn the lights off.
When you get your electric bill for $600, which has been rationed to 12 hours a day, you may change your mind, if you still have a job. If you live in a tent, no problem.
