- magicmarker44, on 02/21/2008, -1/+4The Bush administration wants immunity for the telecom corporations for breaking the law and violating our Constitution because the immunity would then also apply to the Bush administration's own criminal acts of treason against Americans. No immunity for either and IMPEACH BUSH & CHENEY NOW!
- PecosinRat, on 02/21/2008, -1/+4Since there were already easy ways for the government to listen to phone conversations legally, George and the Republican Party had to be up to something that is illegal. AT&T and friends can't say they didn't know it was illegal. They can only say they needed government influence and this was one sure way to get it. AT&T and pals are as guilty as the GOP in this matter. If the lawsuits are allowed to move forward, perhaps we'll learn what this war was really about and expose the conscience-less core of corporate thinking.
