***** war-mongering cheap-assed greedy ***** wont even give the troops decent chairs to fly into war with.
"The road to Hell is paved with Republicans" - qdkk, on 07/22/2008, -1/+3The phrase "support the troops" must mean nothing to the administration. While corporations scoop up profit by the truckloads, our poor servicemen risk their lives while enduring such shabby conditions. It's shameful.
- tfteacher, on 07/22/2008, -0/+0I would be okay with the shabbiness if ALL military folks had to fly that way, including top brass. I am just not sure we need to spend money on making military transport pretty and luxurious. War is hell. Getting to the war should be done quickly, cheaply, and safely, NOT luxuriously.
- magicmarker44, on 07/22/2008, -0/+2typical hypocrisy by the warmongering neo-con bastards... we should force all these old white jerks to suit up and fight their own wars from now on!
- SimmaDownNow, on 07/23/2008, -1/+1The more I read about the crap that our troops endure on our behalf, yes, like it or not, our behalf. The more confident I feel about our Republic. But having said all that, these men and women certainly need to be treated much better than they currently are.
Honestly, I would have never guessed that a Republican administration would be the ones that allow our military's men and women to be treated so disgustingly. This is one of the few times I must confess; I was fooled.
