*EDIT: It's up again lol- LoveJackDaniels, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1Hey! Don't tempt fate! I'm still trying to get it to play nice here :)
- Selfmadecelo, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1I bookmarked it so I can check it out later when it is playing nice. =)
- tablatronix, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Didnt that used to be ilovejackdaniels.com ?
- LoveJackDaniels, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Indeed it did. It used to work when Digg traffic hit, too. I've just turned a level of caching on - should help ease the load, but it's still flaky. Also trying to increae the ram.
It's my own fault, really, for adding more dynamic elements to the new design. Bah.
There's more information about why I had to change the name at http://www.addedbytes.com/blog/what-happened-to-il ... ... if the server stays up long enough for you to actually see it! - psevium, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Ah, came here to mention the ilovejackdaniels cheat sheets, still have them saved from years ago

- xythian, on 07/08/2008, -6/+6Extensive list, very nice!
- JonnyCasino, on 07/08/2008, -3/+6i'm glad to see the character entities cheat sheet made it on the list. It has saved me a lot of time at my job. I see you have several on CSS as well, will check those out. thanks!
- katierosekills, on 07/08/2008, -13/+4Boner.
- vexingmodstwo, on 07/08/2008, -6/+21Just when I thought Digg wasn't useful anymore.... Thanks!
- MysticSavage, on 07/08/2008, -8/+3Now this is useful...thank you!!
- bknoll22, on 07/08/2008, -8/+3great list complete with everything you need. Thanks
- thedigitalkach, on 07/08/2008, -9/+2thank you
- newwildlife, on 07/08/2008, -8/+2what no Rails or AJAX?
- mtekk, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Front-end is the keyword there buddy (Ruby/Ruby on Rails is a backend language/framework). Also there are Javascript framework cheat sheets there.
- achoi, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Rails - not quite front-end
AJAX - start by looking at item #12
- donkeySays, on 07/08/2008, -2/+24Dugg with a burning reminder that internet ***** explorer is gonna render quite a few of them useless and FRUSTRATING!
- funkyloki, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1Well, IDK about. Of course, that is accurate for versions 7 on down, but MS did say that IE8 will definitely be more complaint with code. We shall see.
- gfunk84, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5It will still be many years before we can abandon IE6/7 without sacrificing significant market share.
- earnjam, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1It is better, but I'll still take FF or Safari over it.
But like gfunk84 says above, we can't ignore the old browsers yet. My main site gets over 80% traffic from IE and over 60% of that is still IE6. That's a pretty large chunk of people using an outdated browser...partially due to people not wanting to upgrade to Vista. It will take some time to get the majority up to speed enough where it will be ok to ignore the problems with IE7 and below.

- unfilterthought, on 07/08/2008, -8/+4thumbs up. im saving these.
- CrackyJSquirrel, on 07/08/2008, -1/+8a great article like this reminds me why I added Digg to my iGoogle "Tech" tab in the first place.
- KSUdesigner, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1A great article like this reminds me of what Digg used to be. I miss the old Digg. :(
- WoollyMittens, on 07/08/2008, -2/+3Sweet! I have been making due with Devguru for years now and missed some things. Google Code is not matue enough yet. This will hold me over nicely.
But eeeeeeh... I would have liked a section on Actionscript a lot more than Jquery and Mootools, since by now I don't really need extra layers of abstraction (training wheels if you will) on top of javascript anymore. - thedogfatherx, on 07/08/2008, -1/+3That's awesome. Thanks to whomever for putting all those together.
- mserna23, on 07/08/2008, -1/+3Thanks! I'm printing these out.
- erichw1504, on 07/08/2008, -2/+4
this is freakin' sweet! - TomOwens, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5Since I'm at work, I not only printed these for myself, but I emailed the link to myself at home to be sure I could get them and sent them to coworkers who do web-related work. Easily a must have.
- nOOBert, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5meh, i just use Visual Studio... Intellisense > *
- noogymmij, on 07/09/2008, -1/+0Intellisense is really good at PHP, jQuery and Wordpress...
- mblevine, on 07/08/2008, -8/+2i can haz bookmark?
- matthewjones1, on 07/08/2008, -1/+1Superb resource.
- TomOwens, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1Apparently, all of these are getting hit quite hard. Anyone have a mirror or mirrors? Thanks in advance.
- LoveJackDaniels, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2All of the AddedBytes cheat sheets are temporarily (until my site plays nice again) also available from http://www.zombie-shelter.co.uk/
- DisturbedOne, on 07/08/2008, -1/+1Thanks, those are extremely helpful!
- LoveJackDaniels, on 07/08/2008, -0/+9My site (addedbytes.com) is having a few problems. If you can't get my cheat sheets from there, there's a simple file mirror at http://www.zombie-shelter.co.uk/
- Zoshchenko, on 07/08/2008, -2/+1It looks like Digg overloaded addedbytes. Thanks for the mirror.
- keyo, on 07/08/2008, -4/+7For ***** sake, some of them arn't even valid.
- irishjays, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4Zip file of 27 Cheat Sheets: http://www.filedropper.com/web-dev-cheats
- thematrixexpert, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2yabbadabbadoo!
- mediaspree, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5No way these comments are real.
- Errdoth, on 07/08/2008, -1/+2Srsly. If HTML is hard enough for you that you need "cheatsheets", stick with WYSIWYGs....
- ch1x0r3r, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3Don't encourage them!
- zaxnyd, on 07/08/2008, -1/+2Agreed. These aren't that good. Anyone post html 101 should already know 90% of this.
- Errdoth, on 07/08/2008, -1/+2Srsly. If HTML is hard enough for you that you need "cheatsheets", stick with WYSIWYGs....
- golddeath, on 07/08/2008, -3/+2This will help me pass my web development class in college!
- freedomhater, on 07/08/2008, -1/+6This is a generic positive comment! great digg!
- darkciti2, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5Make sure you print the RGB one in color, btw. :(
- Cvent, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3I would agree that most of this is superfluous since most web designers/developers can code their craft fairly well. Having said that, you can't remember everything, and having some reference printed out can't hurt. The HTML Character Entities Cheat Sheet is one that I personally find useful.
- nolemonplease, on 07/08/2008, -2/+2Textmate has my CSS cheat sheet built in.
- acroyear2, on 07/08/2008, -2/+1i needed this last week, damn it.
- homesqua, on 07/08/2008, -0/+7if you need an html cheatsheet for anything other than entities.. you really might want to rethink your profession.
- TheChunt, on 07/08/2008, -5/+2HTML: tag /tagclose or tag
XHTML: tag /tagclose or /tag
Really???
If you found these "cheats" as useful as the first 20-odd comments you are not a web developer. You are someone who accidentally clicked FrontPage trying to open Word.- CrushThemTorg, on 07/09/2008, -2/+1Are you just bitter because you spent all that time memorizing the jQuery API?
- greeniemeani, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5I'll share with everyone the BEST cheat sheet: google.com
- ForestRangerBen, on 07/09/2008, -3/+1Would have been better if they would have just included a zip file of the entire set...
- pieceofred, on 07/09/2008, -2/+3where are the porn links?
- GregFD3S, on 07/09/2008, -2/+1It would have been nice to have had something like this when I started developing.
- TaintBrush, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1I especially like the Javascript ones. Javascript is effin' inconsistent.
- xrmb, on 07/09/2008, -2/+2I like the cheat sheets from www.visibone.com, but they are not free.
- ZGambit, on 07/09/2008, -2/+2Fantastic, Thank you Digg and diggers to show me this very useful piece of info :D
- say592, on 07/09/2008, -1/+2Finally!
I can laminate these and give them to my retarded friends.
NO I WONT MAKE YOU A NEW MYSPACE LAYOUT, DO IT YOURSELF!- b33b3s, on 07/09/2008, -0/+4They aren't your friends if they use myspace.
- trobrock, on 07/09/2008, -1/+0This was incredibly useful, Thanks
