John Resig (father of jQuery) ports Processing to Javascript
ejohn.org — "I've ported the Processing visualization language to JavaScript, using the Canvas element. The first portion of the project was writing a parser to dynamically convert code written in the Processing language, to JavaScript. The second portion of the project is the full 2d Processing API. This includes all sorts of different methods."

Come on, I would rather have a javascript cavas library rather than a dumb ass intermediate language that subscribes to this mass delusion that objects and classes are good and describe the world better then anything else. Javascript has the single best OOP system: prototype (no, not the library). this lets you build any type of OOP system you want. or just ignore it. But there are better ways to describe the world, we most likely have not found it yet but Objective-C and Erlang processes are closer then Java or C++ ever will be.

How come we cannot just have a 2D OpenGL library for Javascript? This feels more like an experiment with turning one language into another.
