Man picking nose on Google Maps Street View

maps.google.com — Another victim of the Google Street Team. This guy was caught innocently picking his nose on Street View.

Google Street View topics are pretty lame, in my opinion. Have any of you actually been outside? You see things like this all the time. If I see someone on the street picking his nose, I'm not like "HOLY ***** DID YOU SEE THAT?", so why should looking at it on the internet be any different?

      The whole reason that Google Street View topics are popular is because that person's embarrassment is captured very coincidentally for the whole world to witness, which conceptually is very gigglicious. However, this one is sort of lame, it doesn't look like he's really picking his nose, it's sort of more like he accidentally pinkied his face.

    the main reasons people find these kind of pictures is A) they don't have a girlfriend or B) they live near the location the where picture was taken. in this case A most likely applies.

    Google should keep the service, but blur the faces, I'm sure that there would be a way to automate that process.

Not only do they know nothing about the laws except "don't kill, don't steal", but they also know next no nothing on how the law works. bossfrog is right, this is completely legal and Google removes the photos if you ask them only because they don't want to displease the people.

    There may be no rights to expect privacy in public, but that doesn't mean it's reasonable to assume a picture of you doing a quick crotch adjustment or nose pick can be published for the whole world to see on one of the most popular websites in the world... it's totally different you loser, and that's why people are burying your comment.
  • bebopredux, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I have no idea why but, I simply cannot get the images to load for the street view. Using latest Firefox on OSX. Same thing with Camino 1.5. The window starts to load and I see part of the image but, when the progress bar is done the image is gone. I've tried everything, cleaning out cache, etc; It doesn't appear to be anything related to AdBlock or pop-ups either.
