The Hottest Women of Euro 2008 [PICS]

sports.popcrunch.com — I’m still not sure entirely how I feel about soccer, but I do know one thing I love about the sport: all the women. Every time there ’s a huge tournament somewhere it seems like we’re inundated with pictures of hot flag waving women. Here are some of the hottest women from this year’s major soccer event, Euro 2008.

      I think it has to do with the fact that they are not raised to be ashamed with their bodies and then try to overcompensate by rebelling in college (which most of the time isn't really overcoming that childish "guilt"). Basically "feeling beautiful is being beautiful". Which also helps with them to not wear a ton of makeup, or the most flashy (read: overtly slutty) clothes.
      Add in a lower obesity rate (or really, just a culture of loving your body), the fact that most couples that marry (and have kids) are not motivated by money (and thus there are far fewer cases of ugly rich dude with hot dumb chick, and thus having the pool tainted), a more homogeneity amongst feminine independence (meaning, it's not a choice between the girl dreaming for prince charming OR a lesbian feminist), mix and voila! a great recipe for girls with an immense appeal, which really translates to hotness.

        I spent five years in Holland and the women there are, on average, so much more attractive than English women. They keep fit (ride bikes everywhere), eat healthy food, don't have drinking issues etc. Good times.

        On the other hand, I rarely meet a woman in the UK that gets my heart racing and if I do, her personality kicks in and kills it.

          Like I said, I lived there for five years - I think the culture is magnificent. The education system is very good, the people are healthy, they care for their environment, they're willing to make a stand when the government screws up, the public transport system is outstanding. I could go on.

          I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just curious why you would say the Dutch culture is horrid. Have you experienced it?

          A) They would constantly (mind you, I'm athletic, 5'6 130 pounds, so If anything, I'm slightly underweight) haggle me over everything I ate, saying it was unhealthy (mind you again, both the wife and the daughter were actually overweight...so taking diet advice from them seemed kinda idiotic). More then a slice of meat on a sandwich? Unhealthy. Mayonaise? Unhealthy. Just eat some more bread. Every time I would go out to eat, they would scold me for...gasp...being unhealthy. Pizza...unhealthy. Really I could go on for about an hour about how the food there is the blandest thing in the world.

          B) They were xenophobic. One of the things that I love about the US is that there are soo many different cultures here. And thats fine. They hated everyone who wasn't dutch. They even lived inside the german border (the house was cheaper in germany), and hated the Germans! I was taking a bus with their daughter from Emmen to Hoogeveen, and there was an indian woman on the bus. the dutch girl stares at the girl, then says to me "***** CHINESE PEOPLE ARE RUINING MY COUNTRY."

          She wasn't even asian (at least not east asian)! They would constantly try to tell me that the reason they didn't like amsterdam the hague is because there are too many foreigners...so (and I quote) "They aren't dutch. No real dutch people live there"

          C) Their blunt rude behavior. There is a line from austin powers that is something like "There are only two kinds of people I hate in the world, People that can't tolerate other peoples culture, and the Dutch". Generally speaking (there was one exception to this), the people there were just assholes to me. They would constantly try and turn everything into a "hate america" argument (and no, I wasn't going around wearing an american flag shirt and a coyboy hat. I never brought up where I was from, the way i speak just kind of gives it away). When I would try to explain that america is a huge place, and generalizing it is kinda stupid, they would just go back to george bush. Constantly. They knew almost nothing about how this country worked, but they still obviously knew it better than i do. They expected me to look and act dutch (after being in the country for all of 3 months!) immediately, and would bluntly remind me that I am not nearly as good at anything in their country.

          The women there are beautiful, I don't disagree. I just think the culture is rotten.

      But the real difference lies in their mindset. My personal experience with American women is that they are to busy with their weight, how they look, material stuff etc. The European women too, but in a lesser manner.

          That carries over to many other languages.
