Adobe Makes Flash Searchable

readwriteweb.com — For years the big problem with Flash-based websites is that they could not be properly indexed by search engines. For most businesses, particularly those with a lot of information on their website , Flash has been nearly an automatic 'no' for website development. That may be about to change.

    You can put any description and keywords in the meta tags of a page that a Flash file resides on.
    Adobe is the King.

  • santamanno, on 07/02/2008, -0/+0This was definitely a problem for most SEO roles, which had to rule out Flash a priori. This is a big move to spread flash even more. Making flash seachable and indexable so far was a real pain.
